Your Deeper Mission

My father-in-law, the Rebbe, charged each individual with a specific mission designed to strengthen Judaism. One must keep in mind however, the words of the Zohar: "One layer of shell covers another layer of shell..." -- There is always an internal dimension, something deeper than what meets the eye, and the deeper level itself has its own external and internal dimensions.
The Alter Rebbe declared that the teachings of Chasidism are not for a certain party or group of Jews, but for all Jews without exception. And this is the deeper intent behind all the Rebbe's initiatives -- to achieve G-d's purpose in creation by disseminating the wellsprings of Chasidism to the outside, which is the task that we must fulfill to bring Moshiach.
Torah speaks of five levels of soul, from lowest to highest: Soul, Spirit, Breath, Life, Oneness. The highest of the five levels, Oneness, is achieved by disseminating the wellsprings of Chasidism to the outside. Even if a person's occupation is in business, he must see to it that his every activity helps to bring the light of Chasidism to reach every single Jew.
