Hi Kayla. I’ve been watching for just a few months, but find your perseverance very encouraging. I’m currently recovering from surgery having a defibrillator-pacemaker implanted in close to the same spot as your new port. If you’re allowed, try using an ice/cold pack. Regular ice was too painful for me because of the shape, but a bag of frozen corn was very helpful in relieving some of the pain. I’m continuing to pray for God’s mercy and grace as you deal with all these chronic medical issues.
I’m glad that your surgery went well but I’m sorry that you are in such pain. Take your time getting well, don’t rush and push yourself. It takes time to heal. Prayers for you and Big Daddy. 🧶💜🙏🏻

We have been snowed in for a week. It was freezing rain Thursday and snow on top of that. We never lost power thank God. I’m so glad to see that your recovering you are always in my prayers❤
So happy to hear the surgery was successful, boo that the surgeon had so much trouble, yeah he was successful, but happy he explained it to you so you understood where the pain was coming from, known pain is easier to handle then unknown. Give yourself time to heal and feel better! You are allowed! It is all part of surgery! It takes time to do all that! When you are all chipper and feeling normal again...then just do 15 minutes a day on the yarn room. Look at it as a time to get rid of some things. You are doing great!

Good hearing from you but I bet it is very uncomfortable whenever you have to cough. I thought I heard your shower running, lol, hope Jody can get it fixed before to long. I can relate to not having the energy, I crocheted so much up to Christmas trying to get all the presents finished on top of trying to recover from surgery and prepare for Christmas, I haven't had a hook in my hands since Christmas Day. Started PT last week and I'm so looking forward to being able to walk again, especially without any type of assistance. I will continue to keep in my prayers, go heal Ms. Kayla. good to see you! This summer Mom & I had the house renovated, except the den, I had one of my larger 18x24 inch colored pencil drawing in an architectural tube, It's been missing since. I can't find it. I've finished the 4th colored pencil drawing in a set of 6 that I sketched of flowers & bumblebees. I'm getting shots in my eyes monthly, so am not doing any crocheting to avoid getting yarn fiber in my eyes. You always inspire me with the resilience you have even with your health issues. Your always in my prayers!

Hi Hun, I'm so happy you're doing a bit better. Just to let you know it's cold up here in Syracuse,New York .....we have snow ❄️ and it's cold ...our temp is 5 degrees right now and it's snowing still. So stay warm Hun. 40 's is cold too. Take care of yourself. Prayers being sent your way.
