    What about the Amiga where multimedia, pre-emptive multitasking, desktop video, ray tracing and TV broadcasting began.

    1:56 this is the one. When the computer appeared on the cover of popular machanics in the mid 70s, it inspired Gates to create an OS for it. It also inspired Woz to build the apple 1. This sigle PC inspired the entire PC landscape we see today.

    The Commodore 64 disc wasn't that slow, it was the cassette that was slow. Later they also had cartridges that were quicker.

      I did have the Epyx FastLoad cartridge (helped) along with the 1541 floppy drive, but still some programs took almost 30 minutes to load.
