First I thought I won’t like it but I just tested it again (and rehab, atomic rose and addictive vibration) in the store. On my way back I got stopped by a girl and she told me I smell good. She said blessed baraka is the best.
Thanks to this video of yours (which was the very first to turn me onto fragrances! Thank you!) I got those 1.5ml samples of all the Carnals. We have similar noses here as so far the almond one (addictive vibration I think? The names get confused in my head lol) is the most feminine and smells delicious. Can be a summer fragrance I think. Also, psychedelic love is transforming into this light rose scent, with a creamy undertone, I think it might be the most realistic rose scent I’ve ever come across. I do not really like Atomic Rose, and that’s the one I thought I’d like best… it’s way too Delina with that weird Baccarat Rouge layer on the surface. I will wear Delina for dates as the men love it 😅. Then Side Effect, which I’m still on the fence about. Its actually transforming into a bit of ambroxan smelling I believe. Perhaps in winter it’ll suit me better. I did find the saffron-cinnamon opening quite captivating at first. Now jt has this “too much” spiciness. Perhaps I put too much on. Of all the fragrances really. I like moving up the price scale starting from tiny samples and then decants so that I’m not overspending. Hope I don’t end up spending more in the end lol. But I mich prefer tiny samples and am much more cautious about spraying and even taking the adventure of enjoying their subtleties more seriously. Sorry I should’ve checked earlier, so I just checked the vials and it’s “psychedelic love” that is that creamy “white rose” delicate smell, just lovely and a soft mysterious femininity. The other one of the 4 Carnals that I like, albeit not as much as Psychedelic Love which opened up like a slow bouquet. Initially that “almond bite” I believe you commented about and attributed to High Frequency really stood out as just perfect, but High Frequency” does die down after 5 hours into that ambroxan smell which is slowly creeping through, and I am really not a fan of, though sooo strangely enough I was in love with ambroxan a few months ago!!! I oversprayed myself one day in a few ambroxan-heavy perfumes and perhaps overdosed 😭😂 well maybe I’ll get over it and start liking it again in winter, simply fascinating how scents play with your brain (that olfactory connection is literally so close to the brain!! ). I cant wait to try Addictive Vibration! Also, Musky Therapy is ion the list! 💜
Oud for greatness does have a huge sillage! I can totally understand your story because it’s really a projection monster. I notice that it does lean really masculine on most women. But my fav so far is Side Effect! It’s been so good to me. 🤣🤣 Yes to Vitamin D! Outside does help if you’re in a position to enjoy it along with working out! I loved the breakdown of the entire line. Rehab is okay. I personally never fell for that one but I know a lot of people love it. However, I love the Absolutes! Addictive Vibration and Absolute Aphrodisiac are delicious.😋🥰❤️

I am astounded at how much I need to know about fragrance. I’m in 1st grade while Greta has a Masters’ Degree😂 I appreciate how you try to explain how the fragrance opens, heart notes and dry down as well as sillage or none. Even explaining what vetiver makes you feel. I’m getting my education🥰 How do you layer to save least favorite perfumes, but you don’t want to chuck them out?
@@sharlynsantaromana4020 I was thinking about a video on some of my layering frags. If they are light, I use them first in the day, then layer over them. If I don’t like them for being somehow lacking, I layer with the note or element I feel it’s lacking (like sweetness or a cloudy, fluffy feel). Which frags are you thinking about?
I was living in Spain during the societal house arrest and didn’t even have a balcony to go outside and enjoy some vitamine d. 2 months of hell, total house lockdown, living in what I’d just moved into temporary shared apartment thank goodness I had roommates, my room was so small I had to throw my office table ontop of the bed to exercise and then just about had space for jumping jacks, no salon, a one-person kitchen, thank the heavens I had a window though to look outside I had to stand next to it as it was higher up, could only go grocery shopping 1x a week and yes there were police checking our ID a la Weimar Germany. Totally messed up all the progress I’d made to my severe neck issues that I’d taken HALF A YEAR OFF TO REHAB FROM. If I ever see Sanchez in peson I’ll be sure to come well equipped as well as all the other government hypocrites oppressing us making us depressed and society will never be the same again. While those elites got to enjoy the time in their gardens and masklesd parties while the rest of us submissively accepted out fate. Crime against humanity. Ok back to perfumes lol😂
I don’t find it very feminine, but layering withBR540 is very common. The sister company, Parfums de Marly has Haltane now, which is OFG, BR540, and a praline note that blends it together perfectly. But dries down very masculine

They are both boozy gourmands, but BP is a deep, rich chocolatey coffee, while SE is lighter, with tobacco, and maybe closer to Angels’ Share. In fact, all three are very different.

Same with that garbage Oud for greatness, there is no Oud in it at all. Not one tiny drop. It’s a huge aroma chemicals bomb. It’s horrible. If ppl only knew the truth about this house. They use so many cheap aroma chemicals and charge a huge markup. It’s despicable of Initio to charge over $300 for a fake ass perfume that costs them $20 a bottle to make. Try a real Oud rose perfume and u will be disgusted by Oud for greatness . Oud for greatness is an “Oud” perfume for ppl who don’t like Oud, have never smelt real Oud or think this is how Oud smells like. There are so many different kinds of Oud. Some smell poopy, some smell like BO, and some smell so nice and somewhat floral. Many men seem to love the poopy kind . Their excuse is “put up with the nasty poopiness smell for a few hours til the beautiful scent comes out after it mixes with your body chemistry “ uh sorry but I’m not waiting hours for a nasty poopy Oud to maybe smell nice on me. I have smelt Indian women who wear Oud and no joke they smell as if they have not bathed in years and then pooped themselves. I was behind one of these women, going up on an escalator and I was so grossed out that I had to either get ahead of her or go back down and put some space between us. Oh i so wanted to tell her but I’m sure she can smell herself. And anyway it’s none of my business if she wants to be a stink bomb. Just stay far away from me

I think there are more diplomatic ways to express your personal taste, than overt insults, but to each their own!
