In my personal opinion, your cadence and delivery are as a young David Attenborough. As one of the first creators I’d encountered on RUclips that I really enjoyed, I’ve been a fan of your work for a while. I am always excited to see a new video pop up. Thanks Nick…
I'm in my mid 50's and so during my lifetime I have seen Pluto unceremoniously relegated to a minor planatoid or whatever it's current classification. I've also seen nebulae explode into infinitely more spectacular detail than l thought possible. I've seen the sun become a thing of far more detailed beauty than l would ever have imagined. However with all things measured and taken into consideration, for me, whatever disappointment or tribulation our knowledge offers in the future l will always be able to treasure and hold most dear no matter that particular moment's perception, l will always treasure the most wonderous event for me, and one which never, ever gets old and of which l never tire. That is the sound of a cultured and clearly well educated and impassioned voice saying the word Uranus.
On Thursday, I will turn 55. For the majority of that time, I have been under the false impression that one of our Solar system's planets was a rather beautiful shade of blue, just because some astrophysicist decided they wanted a bit more contrast!
It’s kind a hard to deny that Neptune is as featureless as Uranus when Voyager only looked at it with enhanced color filters, pretty much made to show use a false view of the planet
I actually liked featurelessness of Uranus and Saturn. They look majestic and regal in their percieved calmness. Like marble statues in comparison to bands and spots of different colour of Jupiter and Neptune. Though I liked deeper colour of Neptune more
It's so fascinating how certain objects are able to build up & hold on to atmosphere's. Separating the harshness of space & creating a thin layer that can allow unique things to take place. It requires a rocky body to have some form of active geological activity. Also, i keep hearing that gravity isn't a force? Is that just a nitpicking of the meaning? In the universe it sure seems like gravity is a very important factor that plays a role in many different aspects throughout our universe. Without gravity a object wouldn't be able to hold onto it's atmosphere. Without gravity geological activity wouldn't be possible because we need the increase internal pressure to get the process going. Same goes for stars. They wouldn't come together if gas clouds, nebulas didn't get pulled together by gravity and stars wouldn't ignite or go super nova without the effects of gravity (or whatever we call the effects of gravity if it's not considered a force technically?)
I have the all on the fing bell. wtf. Please Nick. Parallax a hand written calligraphic invitation. Why wasn’t I told? Now I’m late and the ehhhhh. What is time?
Ya lost me at "what HAD been our most beautiful planet" if u cannot see the gorgeousness of Neptune's true color ........... that is just sad for u. Unrealistic beauty standards 😔
The only channel which, when I get a notification of anew upload, I squeal like a child 😊
Thank you Nick. Please, never stop ❤ 😊
I squeal like a child and run about my house pulling my willy as well.

I love the way you bring the subject to life with your evocative language Nick!
Thank you for brightening my day.
What a wonderful surprise thanks Nick for another brilliant video for us 🙏🏻
Love me some parallaxNick content.. you should have way more subscribers. Definitely one of the best creators in his field
I think Neptune will surprise us...those ungodly winds gotta be stirring up hella atmospheric changes 💙

That was great, you do keep digging up stuff that seems to be missed by others in the sphere.
Parallax Nick!

Great as usual. Keep it up nick and thanks from us all
It is always wonderful to get a new video from you Nick. Thank you and a very happy new year to you.

Thanks for the starter. I’d love a main course on planetary atmospheres.
Happy new year.
Thank you Nick! This video was atmospheric!
I always love it when you post a new video. Thank you.

3000 Kelvin AND water? Inconceivable!
And it sounds like Nick's not done with his indelible and unparalleled "Universe of Water' series after all!
very interesting as always, thank you for the poetic review of recent discoveries!
The Neptune thing destroyed me. I haven't been this upset about a planet since Pluto stopped being one.
Really happy to see your take on Neptune so quickly. It was really shocking news. Now it looks like discount Uranus!
Venusians have 99 words for summer. All of them translate to some variation of "ARGGHHHHHHHHH! I'M BURNING!!!!!!!!"
Happy 2024 Nick 🥲
This channel has some unique atmosphere
A great start to the year :)
I'm also very frustrated: Neptune will never be my true love, once it was revealed what is under the makeup. Venus is at least hot in her own way...
I love your long form content. But ill take a short video from you anyday. Much thanks
Watched this on TikTok, didn't realize it was 7 minutes long until I saw it here
hey. did you just call uranus ugly?
Nice one Nick. It's been too long.
HAPPY NEW YEAR DEAR NICKLOVE JEREMY.
Atmospheres are the best!
Support the algorithm!
"roasting hell worlds" oh no. The first direct observers of hot Jupiters are going to say things like "that is a toasty boi"
Is Uranus experiencing climate change? It seems quite protean!
Seasons. Each season is about 21 years and the seasonal difference is extreme because of its tilt.
The Neptune portion of the video has my brain reflecting
"Am I also bland and featureless?"
Uranus always catches my attention
Cyan Neptune actually looks kool.
I guess that goes with 'vitally'? vita - life
“Neptune All Night”… a much better show than “There’s a Big Spot On Uranus!”… just saying…

Words cannot describe my disappointment in the true color of Neptune.
Uglified the universe! That’s awesome!
Love it
I am so mad about Neptune
3:50 Ferric Chloride. As if Venus' atmosphere wasn't toxic and corrosive enough. XD
11th !!!
neptune what did they do to you :(
1:12 Is that a real Voyager image? never seen it. :o if it is a HD link pls ?
I honestly don't know. I stumbled across it under the "neptune, voyager" search term but I also have never seen it before. I'll have to dig it up.
Thanks! this looks like real deal im excited@@parallaxnick637
I have the all on the fing bell. wtf. Please Nick. Parallax a hand written calligraphic invitation. Why wasn’t I told? Now I’m late and the ehhhhh. What is time?
Im Forreal pissed I wasn’t told. I’m gonna get a calligrapher to write a very strongly worded letter to the RUclips Google.

Now go take a look at The Angry Astronaut's coverage of the Venus story... the difference is astonishing, and disgusting.
I tend to be more cautious than most, mainly because I don't have a science degree, but I still hope he's right, even if he's jumping the gun.
Aaaaaahhhh yeah. I’m the 1,666th view.
