  • Hi Lovelies, thanks for stopping by, do visit the Cancer UK website, they are a wealth of knowledge. And whatever you do, don't feel alone, there are lots of people and organisations to reach out to.
Macmillan are wonderful (link below) - talk to you friends your family, but don't worry alone.

I film all sorts of videos here, and I try to organise them, sort of… check out my home page for playlists on writing, spirituality, narrow boating, menopause - pretty much anything my over 40, British brain takes a fancy to.

Truer words couldn’t be said. If there is abnormal bleeding, get it checked out. Fear is no excuse because the issue just gets worse. I am a single person taking care of parents and everyone else. BIG MISTAKE not putting my health first. Take care of yourself ladies! Do not ignore symptoms or your body.

We - women/non-men specifically - are so prone to soldiering through and pushing on, no matter what.

Hang in there Joanne, thanks for making this video. It's important to be aware of these changes if they happen. I'm glad they caught it so early!

Sorry for your troubles with this. I had substantial tumors in my uterus and a cyst on my ovary. It was extremely painful during menses when the would grow. I opted out of surgery knowing that I was almost through menopause and it was not cancer. Just a lot of pain and extremely heavy bleeding. Now I am so grateful I am past menopause. I'll gladly take a million hot flashes over that pain. Thanks for talking about this. Hugs Joanne.

Thank you for sharing your story with us. I'm 32 and I've always had awful periods and awful pain during pregnancy. So your story really hit home with me, this is one of my biggest fears. Sending well wish and healing energy your way.

Thank you. I know it can be uncomfortable, but do go to your doctor, and get to the bottom of it xx
