I listened to the video and it seems to me that Marco Hietala is missing from the team ...some songs without him don't give the same flavor, did you find that too?
It was soooooooooooooo hot outside that day unseasonably hot.. They hit this show out of the stratosphere! I was there in the pit right in front of Jukka!!! Loved every minute. I left that show a changed woman! My husband was right next to me.

Kai Hahto an incredible drummer! Whit a precision such incredible! Naturally Euppu too, so the bassman and .. naturally the " Master " Toumas Holopainen... Troy too.. simply the best!!!!👍💍
I miss Marco too, I hope he returns but not too soon. In his absence it feels like others are taking on bigger roles and growing or showing more of their talent. If he came back too soon we would miss out on what Jukka can bring to the group.
Marco's voice in Ever Dream and 7 Days and Last Ride... miss that so much. Nightwish is still Nightwish though and puts on amazing shows everytime it seems!

My friend and I were also at this concert. As avid fans, this was a dream come true for us. It was one of the most incredible concerts we've ever been to, and Beast in Black was the perfect opening band.
Fantastic that the whole audience managed to remain quiet for Hows the Heart first time in live recordings someone hasnt shouted out during absolutely Beautiful and Big Respect to audience for just listening to a truly magical moment

Hopefully Floor will be well, so she can do the European Tour. I have tickets for Berlin 25/11. one thing I really do like, is that they have downscaled the lightshow. No pyro or backscreen. Just some few lights. I think this makes it lot more intimate and down-to-earth. It is all about the music, and enjoying each other. Really great filming. Thanks for the upload. JH from Denmark.
I believe they will still be using the pyro and backscreen for the European tour; they travel with a smaller setup for the North American tour because they are playing smaller venues here.

Saw them in Lowell about this same vantage point and was incredible. They are so tight every single night and look so relaxed and having fun on stage (especially Tuomas) and Floor…I mean what else needs said about her voice/stage presence???? Also, Troy does not get enough love and respect for his multi instrumentalist abilities and filling in vocally. Lost in Tuomas’s compositions is his actual playing ability especially live while windmilling.
and as a fan of their kind of music you notice the cool one that level of musicianship that they are with each other like Floor and Emppu connecting their hands with those heavy metal horns connecting at the ends like they were doing and not just once either like three times

Interesting version of How's the Heart, much closer to a duet than the BBC version. And Harvest while a very good song, is an interesting song when played alongside classic Nightwish.
We were literally about 10 feet behind you. This is great as we can relive what we saw!! So sad Marco was not there and Floor was just learning how to be the front"man" of Nightwish. Bravo
She has been the "front-person" of Nighwish since oct 2012... Main difference is that she also needed to take care of part of Marco's vocals + fill in for his stage presence (since Jukka Koskinen is a very different personality than Marco)
Thanks for posting this. I saw this show the day after in Minneapolis and my experience was not awesome for a Night wish show. The venue was terrible and the speaker on above me on the left side was just completely out of whack. You guys had a great crowd and the venue looks really good. A year after the fact I can appreciate that my other sadness was the absence of Marko. Floor and Troy did a stellar job in covering his parts, but it wasn't the same. Ever Dream is my favorite song and I'd rather they just played a different one. We'll see what the future holds in a year or so. You got a good recording from this. Thanks again for sharing it.
Actually I was at both concerts and the at the radius venue, they had the more expensive ticket holders gated off in the front but they made it too big and it was only 1/3 filled and no one up there was even moving it was sad. NW didn’t even post their post concert pic on IG from Chicago bc it looked like there was not crowd in the front . It was stupid for radius to do that
Smaller venues often don't allow pyrotechnics because of the risk of the environment catching fire. In addition, pyrotechnics are pretty expensive to do so it doesn't make sense money wise to shoot lots of pyrotechnics when the audience (and profit from tickets) is limited. That's why you see the best pyrotechnics in places like Wacken.

This show was the worst NW who ever had it the way they had the audience separated with tickets that cost twice as much in the gated front…and they didn’t have enough people to fill it out so it looked like it wasn’t sold out. It looked sad and that’s why NW didn’t post their end of concert pic on IG from Chicago…
Good band, good songs, good performances. I just wish they didn't feel like they had to sound EXACTLY the way their records do, and consequently depend so much on backing tapes.

BS. Annette got pregnant and wanted the tour at the time to be postponed till she had her baby. Nightwish said no, and she was replaced. Floor has breast cancer, but as she said, it's very treatable and detected early. She's firmly in the band. Cut the crap.
