Islam asks ~ "Does God have a Son?"
Read for yourself what "the" Son of God said about Himself ~
John 10:36 ~ (Jesus is speaking) … “do you say of Him, whom the Father sanctified and sent into the world, ‘You are blaspheming,’ because I said, ‘I am the Son of God’?
John 3:16-18 Jesus is speaking of himself,
“God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through Him. He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”
John 5:19 ~ Again, Jesus is speaking of himself,
“whatever the Father does, these things the Son also does in like manner.”
MANY OTHERS-FRIEND AND FOE AFFIRMED
Jesus AS THE SON OF God:
Matthew 26:63-66 ~ But Jesus kept silent. And the high priest said to Him, "I adjure You by the living God, that You tell us whether You are the Christ, the Son of God." 64 Jesus said to him, "You have said it yourself; nevertheless I tell you, hereafter you shall see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of Power, and coming on the clouds of heaven." 65 Then the high priest tore his robes, saying, "He has blasphemed! What further need do we have of witnesses? Behold, you have now heard the blasphemy; 66 what do you think?
"They answered and said," He is deserving of death!"
John 19:7 ~ The Jews answered him, “We have a law, and by that law He ought to die because He made Himself out to be the Son of God.”
Matthew 27:43 ~ "He trusts in God; let Him deliver Him now, if He takes pleasure in Him; for He said, 'I am the Son of God.'" (the crowd at the crucifixion)
Matthew 27:54 ~ Now the centurion, and those who were with him keeping guard over Jesus, when they saw the earthquake and the things that were happening, became very frightened and said, "Truly this was the Son of God!"
Luke 1:35 ~ And the angel answered and said to her, "The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; and for that reason the holy offspring shall be called the Son of God.
John 5:17-18 ~ But He answered them, "My Father is working until now, and I Myself am working." 18 For this cause therefore the Jews were seeking all the more to kill Him, because He not only was breaking the Sabbath, but also was calling God His own Father, making Himself equal with God.
John 20:28 ~ Thomas answered and said to Him, "My Lord and my God!"
John 20:31 ~ but these have been written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing you may have life in His name.
John 10:33 ~ The Jews answered Him, "For a good work we do not stone You, but for blasphemy; and because You, being a man, make Yourself out to be God."
Romans 1:4 ~ who was declared the Son of God with power by the resurrection from the dead, according to the Spirit of holiness, Jesus Christ our Lord.

Jesus is PROVEN to be the Son of God
because you need a bigger payment for sin
than your most sincere repentance and good deeds can ever provide-
a payment that only God Himself could provide and accept.
God is just, and His Perfect Justice demands punishment for ALL sin;
otherwise it is injustice.
For God to simply hand out mercy without punishing all sin,
would make God UNJUST-an impostor, like Allah.
Jesus' payment for sin on the cross benefits only those who
repent and trust that Jesus obediently,
and to prove His great love for you,
took the punishment your sins deserved on His cross.
Only then do you receive full mercy and forgiveness
for all your sins that only His sufferings as the Son of God-
who shared fully in the nature and substance of the Father-can provide.
