Thank you! There aren’t very many videos for these machines on yt. I got the exact same model as the one you have. (Which is how I found your channel). Your vids are really helpful.
Hi. This review is 2 yrs old Are you still using this machine? Have you experienced any issues? Do you still recommend this machine? Would you purchase it again? Would you consider updating this review ? Thank you !
I would like to know, if this machine is good, because I looked at the reviews, and they have many problems, with the computer, it does not sew well, I hope someone helps, thanks
I just bought the 6800C and my machine is not allowing me to sew through 4 layers of material for zigzag. It keeps sewing over the same spot. I tried all different needles including the denim and it still is not working. Please help me figure out what I am doing wrong.
I have been sewing for 50 years and never had these extra features! I purchased this machine and it is fabulous but when I sew through bulky layers the machine makes a clunky sound..... stitches are perfect - I did a test on regular fabric sound goes away? Did you notice a change in sound as you added the layers - Is this suppose to make that sound when sewing bulk and yes I do have denim needle in - Thank you
With needle for leather it sews throw 10(I have not tried more cos that’s just braking machine and I didn’t got it just to prove the point) layers of leather even...any singer with leather needle will do till 6 layers for general
Very easy, even at 10 layers the control is perfect. In fact the slower it is,, the easier it is for beginners like me. Sometimes it can be too slow. I am still working on straiter lines at faster speed.
@@Xcallaburr so is the motor more powerful than the motor in the 4400 series? Because I have a 4452 and at the slowest speed it’s not powerful enough to go through thick layers.
@@hugoender yes it seem no matter what speed the machine sews the same i will do some research and compare machine motor size. I will upload a video as soon possible show what I find. thank you for watching and your comments
@@Xcallaburr What is a standard needle and size? I'm sewing on cotton with a thin layer of batting and trying to zigzag through 4 layers and batting and it's not working. I even tried the 100/18 denim needle and it still isn't working.
@@Xcallaburr No, the needles aren't breaking. I tried the heaviest denim needle and it still doesn't work. It works if I do a straight stitch, but not zigzag.

Do you still recommend this machine?
Yes, I really enjoy working on it and looking forward to doing more videos on it and projects.
Me convencio. La compro. 😉
y que tal es ? tiene muchos malos comentarios
Why the machine is shaking ?
it could be unstable or moving too fast
You're lucky you didn't snap the needle sewing at that stitch length.
Thank you for this video. How easy is it to control the slowest speed when sewing multiple layers of denim?

Does this machine do chain stitch?
I have this machine, and no, it doesn't do chain stitch.
Hi, what size needle are you using? What’s the tension set on? Every time I’m sewing thick towels, the needle often break. Pls advise
Titanium needles

I use standard needle and setting that came on the machine out of the box. Possibly your going to fast or pushing the needle so it hits the base
