I see these 2 recommended everywhere and wanted a direct comparison of the various features/lighting, etc. - putting the comparisons next to each other like this (versus doing 1 section all for 1 video, then the next section all for the other) was super helpful. Unironically the best, most concise, and objective review/comparison of these 2 cameras on RUclips. Absolutely great job man, keep it up. My only feedback is that your description of HDR isn't quite right, but that's an easy fix and easy to overlook considering the quality of the rest of the video. Thanks for the info, keep going bro!

To "me" the elgato has a clearer view but its not the webcam itself that makes it look better its also based on how your lighting is setup but what I love about the elgato facecam is they have more settings to adjust and you can get it to the best setting for you but it can also depend on how you want your skin tone to look as well like im darker so i have to compensate with the amount of light, while another person who is lighter may require less light. Hopefully this makes sense

I am using an Elgato Key Light On My Right and a GVM 100 Watt Angled at 45 degrees as well and the side or backlight to make the background pop and not seem flat. I actually have them down in the description below for you to see

I have my softbox light and an external shotgun mic, but did not want to spend hundreds of dollars on a Canon or Sony camera (which I think would be overkill for my situation). Hoping to use this Brio for this purpose. thoughts?
So what it comes down to is really understanding what type of content your going to be creating Like for example for this channel and my other one it's more how to type of content where you don’t necessarily need a more expensive camera but its cool to have one down the road but most of my content is either me showing stuff on the screen or its a talking head video combined with showing on the screen which is why my content is usually shot on my webcam so if your going to be doing Financial type stuff you may have to show people stuff on a screen I'm not sure exactly what your formats are going to look like as of yet but if that’s majority of what you would be doing I would say try the webcam because these two are the top webcams out so you know the quality would be there and if you feel you need to go further then look more for something in your range of what your willing to spend. Yeah they can definitely be used in many ways I actually own quite a few webcams currently and plan to use them in different ways for sure but it sounds like you definitely making moves and I believe you should be good with just a webcam in my opinion for the short term to get things rolling

im leaning more towards the Elgato, in the settings, i can control between the different resolutions it seems, i didn't see that in the Logitech

So as the end screen I put the playlists to all the webcams I have talked about so far so yep win, win, win
