This is one of the best auto repair videos I have ever seen. I have an identical 05 Xb Scion (as a second car), with about 240K miles. I have not had any serious problems with it other than my AC started blowing warm air last week. I really had no reason to look at this repair, but I got memorized by your mechanical skill and even expert video presentation so ended up looking at all 3 parts! Very impressed and a new subscriber. Sure wish your shop was around here! Thanks!
Hi I have the same problem and a year ago a mechanic changed the head gasket and the car is the same, I have no mechanical knowledge but seeing your video motivated me and I think I am, I hope it turns out well
ya may wanna also reemove fuel tank & the passenger rear taillight for more room & it may be a good idea to remove the front bolts from the passenger seat, just to give more room,
Funny that using my Dewalt impact driver as you did, the exact same bolt was stuck on my engine as well. Had to grab a breaker bar, that baby was stuck.
Junky engines? what are you even talking about? They easily last 300k miles. I have one now with 427k. Ya… super junky. Perhaps you’re just junky with mechanics lol
@@jamesrose557 maybe some last but look up head gasket repair for a xb compare to Subaru it's about 1000$ more to repair junk or maybe you never done a head gasket.

Mine just busted last month and the manual is not too great. Thanks so much for this one!
