@@sgbhawkman6649 yea gets old real fast my first match of the game I was paired against prestige 2.3s it’s a awful game good reason to not spend a cent on bundles tho
@ idc about the casualness of it, it should be random 😂 it’s not ranked. No other game does sbmm. It’s stupid to have to worry about stuff like that when you’re in a casual playlist
The amount of unemployment lobbies I've been sent to after going a little more positive than usual the match before is insane Edit: I do wanna say that your point about playing with other players and getting a wider skill range of enemy players is an excellent way to have fun with SBMM. Playing with my girl and a few other friends in squad, is the funnest I have compared to playing solo queue
lol seriously I’ve had multiple matches where no matter what if I got a kill it was somebody there to kill me instantly or they some how get me in a 2v1 situation. shits annoying after a couple hours of playing like I’m training for a cod tournament I just go hop on zombies.
I dont have bad Connection at all but after a few good matches the game fucking searches for >200 ping lobbys only to see me suffer against Unemployed Sweat prestige masters and movement kings
@@tw5207 can‘t imagine something more fun . Mostly the stuttering and random backporting mixed with non registered hits on an enemy just gets me off everytime
I miss the old days where you could see a list of lobbies, pick one, and you knew pretty quick if that was the lobbie for you. You could spend a whole night playing with the same group of randoms, good times.
Fr that litteraly how back in the day WE made Friends online , u insult them , u see the same dude in your team , u talk for few games , and boom u became Friends , now its kinda boring no funny person and even if you get one u will never see him again...
I hate that Shii. I know I’m not good enough to carry a team I can’t put up 60 kills while everybody else gets 10-15 and expect to win. I stopped caring about winning a long time ago though cuz soon as you do they bump you up to a higher bracket and that squad shits on you lol
@@2wavyaxa139depending on the team I won’t play the objective cuz if I’m good and they’re bad they don’t make it to the objective and I get picked off if I’m on the objective alone.
I wouldn't mind sbmm within some reason. Problem is that it's NOT sbmm. It's engagement optimised matchmaking! You just feel and see it when it starts messing with you. Al of a sudden you need 6 ore 7 bullets and you get pocketbursed with 1 ore 2 bullets. Enemies spawn a couple of feet behind you. You spawn and there's 3 enemies around you. You spawn in the middle of the map out in the open, with no chance of getting to cover in time. It's obvious the game is finding ways to mess you up. That's such a horrible feeling and it feels so dishonest and unfair when it kicks in, I just leave the match ore sometimes even turn of the game. I don't mind some competition, but I do mind the game intensionly killing the my gameplay ore 'skill' I've played years for developing.
Thank you for not being a zombie and just accepting this blindly. If you notice it that means you are above average skill wise as it becomes more obvious the better you get at the game. They are definitely manipulative tactics and algorithms that are placed to keep players enaged and make them spend more $$. It's bad
PLEASE GET THIS EVEN MORE NOTICED. SBMM is not the problem, it’s Activision’s “insurance policy” that’s the problem. Give me sweats all night, sure, I grew up as one myself. Competition is always fun. Now imagine EOMM kicking in halfway thru the game because it noticed someone is playing a little to good…give me a good reason why both teams should not end the match right there.
It's true and super fucking frustrating I STG the spawns ruined a game of domination for our whole team where we went from basically winning to losing whole constantly only spawning in one spot away from all objectives and there'd always be 2 or more of the enemy at the spawn
I kinda agree... 7 hit markers compared to 2 for the other guy. But then other times I have the advantage.... Kinda like it intentionally makes you do less DMG sometimes and do more DMG in other games or even towards the end of the same matches. Also (for me atleast) it's like aim assist does the opposite sometimes like it kinda pushes away.
We were selling and playing on "God accounts" aka reverse boosted accounts that had horrible KD and W/L ratios to get into bot lobbies back in Infinite warfare and black ops 3. Even black ops 2 there was reverse boosting. This sort of matchmaking manipulating is nothing new. SBMM, however, is cranked higher than ever in these latest cods. How I wish we got mixed matchmaking back. Just let me play against players that are better than me so I can learn from them and let me play against worse players so I can see how far I've come on my own journey of 'git gud'. With this SBMM shit I feel like I've stagnated, not improving a bit because every lobby is the same, every time.
SBMM already has me burnt out on this game haven't felt motivated to play all week. Its not that i wanna 2 box and dump on noobs, all i want is normal matchmaking please.
What ”normal” matchmaking would be is you getting players of all skill levels in your games. If you think your lobbies are sweaty then what are the lobbies the sweatiest person on enemy team considers sweaty?
@ idk I been playing cod for 16 years now and I’am pretty aware just by playing whether or not the game has sbmm. When the matches feel rigged it feels like the game has no soul because if you have a good game then you know what’s coming in the next one.
Nothing beats a hard day at work, 12 hour shift doing construction work, just to come home and clock in on the 2nd shift on Call of Duty......It's wild to me that retiring from Semi Pro play back in 2018 thinking i was done with Competing and could finally relax in CASUAL lobbies with my old homies who just wanna do the same as me, turn of the brain go auto pilot mode and play games.....wild how it's more competitve in CASUAL....then when i was on stage playing for money. Let that sink in. Im working 12 hour shift, lifting, pushing, hammering, digging, shoveling and other draining task...i wanna come home and relax, but because i had a competitve background, i am now being punished playing unemployed shit stains who think they are Scump and Shotzzy in EVERY lobby. I literally cannot sit back, relax and chill. Every match i need to fucking sniff GFuel, get some hand warmers and a towel right next to me to ''compete'' because im in a skillbracket....IN CASUAL. Personally im fed up. Im starting to leave matches, im VPN'ing and im gonna start 2 Boxing. I don't care what their ''Whitepaper'' ''DATA'' shows. It's all fucking bullshit. Their data shows IDIOTS who get protected buy more skins so they make money, not people having fun. They wanna protect Timmy's so badly that they are neglecting the Hardcore community, the Old school community who built this game up to what it is...well that community is sick of this Ranked mode in Casual. This will bite them in the ass! If you are in the higher skill bracket (not the unemployed bracket, ya'll are virgins and need to find happyness in life. YOU WILL NEVER BE A PRO, SO STOP TRYING) But to the people with 2+Kd who actually just chills in casual like myself. Start LEAVING, Start 2 BOXING, start VPN'ing, STOP BUYING SKINS! (JUST TO BE CLEAR!) I do not want SBMM GONE. I WANT IT TUNED DOWN! I want the protected bracket to be protected, but just because i have a 3+KD does not mean i wanna play 18 Year old version of on COCAINE EVERY LOBBY! I want to have some variation, some randomness in the matchmaking
Everybody gonna come at me. I don’t have an issue with SBMM. And probably like you, I been playing since MW2. I played thru the golden age of cod. MW, MW2, MW3 BO1 BO2 BO3 and even the shitty ones. Destroying lobbies. Maybe it’s my KD that’s not giving me a big problem hovering a 2.6-2.9 KD. I don’t have a problem with it. There’s games where I destroy, there’s games where I get destroyed. But It’s been like that in every cod since MW2. The 1 and only difference now is that there’s more players actually trying than there were before. People trying to be twitch streamers, RUclipsrs, and people wanting to just be the best at the game. But every lobby in every cod has had those 1-2 players that go extra hard. EVERY COD HAS HAD THAT. To this day, every lobby it’s the bottom 2-3 players going double negative, the middle 1-2 players going even, and 1-2 players going crazy. Every year. Every game. Maybe my SBMM is broken, but I get the randomness you’re asking for. I get games where I shit on everybody, and games where I get shit on and spawn trapped. But it’s been that way for as long as I can remember in cod. That feeling that you have about not wanting to play the 18 yo version of yourself, the way I see it is that’s how everybody you played against felt. Before Sbmm was even a thing. I was the same way back in the day going 98-12 damn near every HP game. All I can say with 100% confidence is Activision isn’t gonna make a change to SBMM anytime soon. They’ve been doing this for YEARS with no change. You guys gotta understand it’s a business. THEY WILL NOT CHANGE SBMM. Not until they start losing money. And we all know that isn’t happening. People complain about the Sbmm every year, and pre order the fucking game next year. STOP PLAYING THE GAME. That’s the only way you’ll have a chance that they will change it. You only have 2 options, you either face we can’t go 96-8 in HP like we used to, or just don’t buy the game until you hear that they fixed SBMM. It’s the same thing every year, and they aren’t going to change it. Don’t drive yourself crazy playing a game that we all know isn’t gonna change what people want it to change. I skipped BO4, Infinite Warfare and a couple other cause I wasn’t having fun with it. There’s an abundance of games that you’ll have just as much fun with
@@Inkslasher Honestly, if it makes Activision do something about SBMM. I wouldn't mind going into those lobbies to ruin other peoples experience. Think about it. The more people that keep complaining. The better they will listen. Activision has shown that they will never fix this type of system unless we exploit it and actually make it a problem.
I’m a casual and really enjoyed this game early on. I’ve never had a gold gun in any cod ever and now I’m stuck in lobbies full of diamond and dark matter gun users and can barely make it out of a spawn. I just want to chill and have fun for an hour or two occasionally I’m not a damn pro. I’m close to deleting completely for a while to see if lobbies reset after a few months. I can’t get a game with a positive K/d to save my life anymore. Sbmm has ruined the fun for me as a casual even though Sbmm is supposed to be in benefit for people like me
How I reduce my SBMM: Use pistols only. Or melee-only. Or some other kind of restriction that I can still mess around with, but is definitely still fun.
Thanks to give attention to this.More youtubers should do this. This is the way to change it,and hope they tune it down to what it used to be long time ago.Give back the fun
When I first started playing CoD (MW3 around 2011) I got shit on every lobby but I improved . Now I get punished for Years of dedication and mastering skills . I work 9 to 5 and my first lobby on that day isn‘t laid back for warming up . Its the goddamn Unemployment Derby every single round
@@kooperhoy9690 old matchmaking is literally the same thing. 1 or 2 guys that are leagues above the others absolutely stomping everyone else. Those were literally bot lobbies for those people. A noob back then is the same as bots today. If you are actually good at the game you stomp even sbmm lobbies. There arent enough good players online at every given moment to put them all together.
@@mirzu42i'd agree with you about there not being enough high skill players online, the problem with that statement is that the game starts putting you in 150-200 ping matches if you start doing too well, and that's unplayable
I also see These Knives Only do this a lot... honestly, I get it because knifing is harder in recent years, but it's the disingenuous part of it that is upsetting to see. I'd rather people be honest with it. ImMarksman does this sometimes, but he fully discloses this when he does it and he uses bad guns or funny things and doesn't try hard against players in these skill brackets. I hope more content creators will be more honest with this because I don't even want to watch them anymore due to this.
@CalebMay-bf1ci almost all of the RUclipsrs are. Any RUclipsr who posts Nuke gameplays almost daily is 100% reverse boosting. The only players who can even get nukes with this SBMM system are all top ranked players. They don't even waste their time in pubs. KrngHero he's a massive fraud. I ended up in a big argument with him way back on MW2019 and he ended up blocking me. All the KRNG clan RB as well. Even JGOD he just stays away from nukes because it's more obvious and drops 20+ kills on WZ instead. Inkslasher could easily name more than 15 people. I could name over 30!
@@Lyons_T-BAG I think the term is sandbagging - boosting is when you play with someone better than you that increases your winrate in increasingly harder lobbies in order to increase your MMR. Boosting can also be just having someone outright play on your account in order to do the same. In either case, the implication is that some other factor - typically another person - is at play external to your capabilities. "I got boosted to X rank off of those broken " would also qualify here. That said, one can be reverse boosted if they let the account be used by someone playing badly or with someone playing much worse than you. "I got reverse boosted off of that kronikkk bruh" is a phrase, I suppose. In which case, Starlink certainly reverse boosts my stats, winrate, enjoyment, and what would otherwise be an afk / leaver stat of 0 is usually unfortunately higher thanks to Elon's brilliant "nearly every night between 3am and 4:30am I'm gonna turn your internet off for 3 minutes to update" strat that could easily be mitigated but is instead "cool guess I get to have double NAT, worse latency, an extra two wifi signals, and a habit of checking my phone's Starlink App twice a day to make sure that there isn't an update scheduled - which of course requires switching to the worse wifi network every time to do" .-. This shouldn't require disabling the router bypass mode and incurring worse internet performance. This certainly shouldn't be something that can only be done via the Starlink App that's only available on my phone. And this sure as fk shouldn't be something that isn't delivered as a notification in advance. I should be given a notification with the option to snooze / schedule on whatever device that I'm using - every browser has a notification system built into it, as does every major operating system. I'm so tired of "AH CRAP there goes the internet for fk's sake FUCK I forgot to check for an update / forgot to update" .-. Just ask. The longest it could possibly be are my like hour and a half long zombies matches. Most of the time it would be like half an hour. Not everyone is sleeping by 3am. I'm awake for 18 hours a day on average, sometimes 22 hours, and only sleep for 7.5 hours at a time. My drifting sleep schedule means that I sometimes go a while without ever having to worry about this and sometimes it's the absolute bane of my existence. ._. Sorry, gutsick today and it apparently really makes me just uh.. humorously enough spill my guts.
I was playing in unemployed lobbies with AR's SMG's, but I decided to level up my sniper rifles, I'm very bad with this, but after like 5-7 games where my elim/d were 5/25 I was started to get bot lobbies, literally bot lobbies, where people dont know to shop and from 0.2 elim/d I turned to 1.5 demon with sniper rifle :Dd I was joking that COD SBMM saved my life with this, but when I came back to AR's and SMG's I started to play again with people who sweats in all the corners :D
I would like to encourage everyone to do that. People should not be protected in a video game. Business and fun can never go along. These companies will never understand as the decision makers never play video games. So, more we do 2 boxing, the more bad players gonna quit resulting in significant drop in player base.
@@dguer45 that is still fine. there will be sweats in both teams. right now, if you're queing solo, then you get bots most of the time and the opponent team's each member is as good as you.
You want to encourage people to purposely find Noob lobbies in order to bully players into quitting the game? I honestly hope people don't take your advice in fact I hope you're trolling which you probably are
@ no sir. Trolling is what the publisher and devs are doing to us. I am a software engineer and it is pretty clear this piece of software is horrible in every front. Few aren’t just recognising it. Hit reg horrible. Their whole infrastructure running this application is dated as a skeleton. Thats not how you run a live service software. But the business won’t realise unless and until they start losing money. And in live service titles, losing players equates losing money.
Feels like I am playing at the Casino , when playing this game . Sometimes I win , sometimes I lose , this game does not feel organic . They might as well add a lever to pull on the Call Of Duty slot machine . They will probably never take out SBMM out of the equation .
My issue is that it’ll put me in a game where my teammates play like it’s they’ve never played COD before, while the other team is a bunch of sweaty tryhards
Here's how to fix SBMM: Activision should have an option to toggle SBMM on or off for players this way people who aren't great can have it on and can have fun without facing sweats while poeple who don't want to face sweats everytime can have it off. There. THAT simple smh
@@LordKrillin0no. He’s saying if you suck you play other players who suck. If you’re good you only play players that are good. The opposite if it was off

You can literally see/feel SBMM kicking in. Except I legit dont feel like its skill based at all and more activision punishing me for doing well. Trying to force my hand into spending money on shit to make me get back to the K/Ds I had. I'm an Average player. Don't get a huge amount of playtime and play quite casual but definatley not one of the bot like newbies having played cod games since the very first one on PC. I can be having a great time, some very competative good games and the second I start to do well, WHAM SBMM kicks in. All of a sudden a 2.5 K/D plummets to scraping a 1K/D next match. My guns don't register hits like they used too. Headshots that only a game before dropped people get white hit markers. I'm thrust into lobbies with level 4 prestige players (im like level 44 or something 🤣) theyre all 360 no scoping me from my spawn time after time rocking score streak after score streak. It immediatley sucks any fun out of the game. I dont want to be in nerf lobbies beating up on level 1 total newbies to cod but nor do I want to be in with some sweaty streamer farming kills with aimbots for fake insta points either. I just want to play fun and what feel like fair games, Idk like the ORIGINAL MODREN WARFARES. For me SBMM should 100% be turned off and when you get to a certain level you are moved or matched into lobbies with different tiers of players based on the prestige level etc.
@@FuegoJustinnn you are the dumb one. Have you ever played CDL? Its not even remotely the same lol. All games have skill based matchmaking in all lobbies. It is to prevent casual players from getting stomped every single game.
what they need to do is bring back the basic training mode tht was in the old school cods and bring back the matchmaking system they were using during the golden days
The lack of random variety really is the root of the problem. I remember back in BLOPs 1 days, sometimes I would join a lobby and do really well, other times, not so well. I was never great, but average. However, even if I was having a really hard time in a lobby it wasn't nearly as frustrating because I knew that the lobby would change over time. Every time a bad game ended, it was like a reboot, you never knew what you were going to get next. THAT is was kept me playing for hours. Now, I can't stand to play more than 3 to 5 games in a row before I just quit for the night. Because I know what's happening behind the scenes, and I'm not getting that randomized experience. That feeling of, "I wonder what the next lobby is gonna be like" is never there. So I play a few games, and then quit for the night because I know that I don't want more of what I'm getting. EOMM really is ruining the game, and I'm currently looking for an alternative. Been playing COD for many years, but I've realized that Activision doesn't give a sh-t about making a fun experience and is going to continue to do whatever their research marketing dept is telling them will supposedly make more money, so it's time for me to move on.
I don't mind loosing a gun fight to someone who out maneuvered me or had better aim but the game should not manipulate what happens in a gun fight. I mean don't change how many bullets it takes for me to drop someone when I need 1 or 2 more kills for a high end kill streak or make it feel like all of a sudden I'm fighting the aim assist. This has happened so many times.
SBMM increases player retention. They figured out that if players win/lose in specific patterns, it tends to keep them playing longer. That’s what SBMM is really for: To rig your matches so you’ll play longer. It also puts people who haven’t bought skins into lobbies with people who have, people who are ranked higher than they are. Being defeated by people with skins leads players to purchase skins themselves and then the game gives them easier lobbies for a time to create positive reinforcement. And it works. Activision makes $1 billion a year on microtransactions alone. They’ll never stop.
I fail to see how this retains anybody though. Been playing COD since 2007. I haven't enjoyed a single cod since MW2019 and I stopped buying them. I try the annual release on gamepass (when I get it to play something else). I always get the same experience. First few matches are bots. Once I get past level 30 or so, my K/D starts to be at around 1.5, and then the game starts throwing me in sweat/camping lobbies until it is closer to or below 1. That's fine. Then after a few hours I would have 1 good game in which I end up 1st, get some nice killstreaks, etc. After that, the game becomes unplayable, bullets do no damage, you get 1 shot, etc, even in extreme. This has made me uninstall every COD because it seems that once you get that good game, you'll get thrown into that "did I just catch you having fun?" pit and you can't get off there. Also for some reason people with paid cosmetics are never below top 3 and somehow have the ability to absorb or deflect bullets.
I have actually not felt the SBMM too much. I usually go above average, and sit at 1.35 KD all time. If it’s a bad game, I try really hard to make it to even.
My impression is that the SBMM is more reminiscent of Halo 3. It will hand you a few soft balls, a few hard games, and a few close games. My K/D in warzone was a 1.5 but I've been grinding camos in BO6 starting with the hardest ones to take advantage of SBMM. Overall, I think it's a major improvement over the past few years. Wow we were talking about two boxing, in that case those are just the cheaters of that bracket. Don't over think it.
Ok, you can say that. go listen to those devs talk about sbmm. Pretty damn clear og halo games never had sbmm. You were probably an incredibly average player.
One of my friends with disability (He use the Xbox accessibility controller) told me that now his lobbies have 1 of 3 matches with a guy with 230 kills, destroying the lobby and the enjoyment of everyone. He lost part of the two hands in a car crash but he's ok.
I was following until the part about being matched against people with 0.7-8.0 kds, at that point almost every player would be eligible and the game functionally no longer has sbmm at all
I talked to this one guy who did this, but he was honest about it and became #1 on xbox cold war, his thing was that he was basically grinding the leader board and nukes
So that’s why my first day on or every lobby had sweats. I don’t even feel the sbmm. Was never protected by sbmm. The sweats are trash spawn killers anyway.
Ive tanked my stats sometimes chasing cams or challenges. playing pistol only, going for headshots etc. After completing the challenge I switch back to my standard gameplay with proper weapons and feel like the god of war as I ruin through noobs.
It's been like this for years with other call of duty titles. When a new one comes out. you'll get back in the game eventually, and complain about the same SBMM again. But this time on the new call of duty. With the amount of sales this game made. Players have shown with their actions that they will buy every new call of duty title and complain about the same thing over and over again.
As an average player it makes everything more challenging so when you get the camel grind done it feels like you've earned it I don't know I like it trust me average player's lobbies get sweaty to I just hate it when people reverse boost in my Lobby and you can tell you always can tell and then they drop a nuke on you that's my two cents
The only way to block 2 boxing is to not allow an account to manually join a game in progress. They can keep in place joining a game in progress when someone is searching for a game. I would not get rid of SBMM all together but I would make latency a much bigger factor in finding a game. This will introduce some variety into the game.
I’ve been on Call of Duty since 2003, and Hardcore mode has always been my go-to whenever it’s available. My best leaderboard run was in Black Ops III, hitting #14 overall. I started feeling the grind of SBMM (skill-based matchmaking) around 2019, and it’s only gotten worse since. Back then, my group and I wouldn’t quit until we lost a match-playing HC Headquarters till dawn with the classic “just one more game” mantra. Spawn trapping? Fair game in my book; sometimes you’re the trapper, sometimes the trapped. Just fight your way out if you can. But these days, gameplay feels completely off. Some matches I’ll pull a solid 2.5 K/D, smooth as ever, no suspicions of “cheaters, wallhacks, or aimbots.” Then out of nowhere, my gameplay goes downhill-sluggish movement, flicks that just miss, and constant lag like game play. If it were a rare issue, I’d chalk it up to a bad server or technical blip. But this happens in waves; I’ll get two or three good games, then it’s back to the struggle. It just kills the fun. COD needs to go back to hosted based lobbies. If you don't like the lobby you are in, back out and grab another lobby...
A little tipp for "newer" Players. When you have 64 Shots in your Magazine, you don´t have to reload when you have 40 left every single time, like this dude right here. 😅
I'm happy for SBMM to exist in some degree, lobbies where no one shoots back are boring as hell. However Games are still supposed to be fun and if I wanted a ranked experience I'd play ranked, so something has to give. Maybe just loosen it a bit. My main issue with it isn't so much multiplayer, it's Warzone and the issue I have is that this system dictates to you who you can and can't play with. Some of our friends had low to average KD's and if they join us in Warzone they just get dunked on all night until they quit and have since quit playing with us due to the SBMM bracket being far too high for them. A lot of them have even quit COD entirely because they can't play with friends.
This is actually a pretty insightful take. Beating up on people that are significantly worse than me is not pleasant experience for me or for them. However, the current matchmaking algorithm will thrust me into a game with people far above my level if I manage 2+ KD for a single round. I truly want to play people roughly around my skill level, or maybe a standard deviation worse or better than me for some variance.
My K/D is at 1.71 one week into this game. I get on Nuketown, I have one competitive game and the next few I’m in there with K/D 3.0+. And it’s not even that. Feels like my bullets aren’t registering first when I’m clearly shooting first and if you’re spawning behind the yellow house, good luck.
With you on this. I am a 1.26 k/d, I'll get 1 or 2 lobbies that I can cope with, then I'll get put in with the 3 k/d people and get eaten alive. The bullets not registering has also happened to me, mostly at the start of matches.
As a player who 2boxes sometimes... i am noticing its ALOT more 2boxers now than ever. Gamepass has brought alot of 2boxers to the game. I can 2box and get into a lobby against a team with at least a 3 stack who are clearly 2boxing. I know guys who used to shame 2boxing.. but eventually crossed to the dark side. Its only so much sbmm sweat fests a player can take. Eventually a vpn or 2boxing becomes sprinkled into their Cod diet. I predict that 2boxing will become so wild that Activision will be forced to loosen up the matchmaking to kind of nullify 2box effectiveness. The more dense SBMM is... the more effective RB and 2boxing becomes
@@joshuacollins9316 I dont think so. Its using the algorithm to my advantage. If you think 2Boxing is cheating... then that means its also cheating if i play COD with lesser skilled friends. Thats all 2boxing is... its an imaginary lesser skilled friend

If it wasn’t then you wouldn’t need to manipulate the system to do it.
@@joshuacollins9316Chances are it's more like you're playing against the average American, not someone with a disability. Though that could be considered a disability.
SBMM is so strong i can’t even play with friends. I make their lobbies too hard and they don’t want to play. The lobbies when we use to play together on the last two titles we’re not nearly this hard. I can’t even carry them to wins. 2 of them for 0 kills 2 games in a row. I cab do better than I do in my solo lobbies, but still harder than the previous titles… This has got to be one of the strongest SBMM in years
Why don't they just soften up the SBMM and increase the range of KD you get put against? Now it's like if you're 1.3KD you get placed against 1.3KD period. But what if they make it so that you could play against 1 - 1.6KD players? That would also decrease queue times
Not at all! Dont give these idiots any of your hard earned $. Get rid of SBMM YA DUMBASSES. You truly have destroyed COD!!! Nit the same since bo3. Develop a good game for a change, not this annoying sweat lobby bs
Currently on a streak of losing 18 games in a row. Can't believe how badly companies have ruined online gaming. Literally unplayable at this point for me.
Start a game. Get killed. Quit match. 2 times. Next lobby. EASY. FUN. ENJOYABLE. It's insane just how much you can play the game without a towel over your neck
I changed my username to RemoveSBMM and started the road to dropping my KD to 0.3. SBMM is garbage and I want to ruin whatever data they collect and use
I think if they implemented a feature to where you had a time limit to join another game after quitting after 3 games or so... I think that would help with the 2 boxing.
I'm kinda stuck between 1.5-2.0 kd and that's alright, I do enjoy the game. My problem is that when I'm playing solo, if I want to go positive and play the objectives I have to sweat my life away. I miss the randomness where you find a broad spectrum of players and the competition feels different from match to match. I wish they could just get back to that
Last night I started using the XM4 since I unlocked gunfighter and got a lot of kills and 5 games later I am playing people that have the robot eyes prestige symbol when I am not even level 55 yet. Those guys have to play 8 hours a day for the last 2 weeks to get to that 7th prestige. It’s so annoying to play against them.
I dont think that people realise just how good people are at the game either. Like sbmm protects the vast majority of people. Sbmm is not based on KD. Like its not possible to have every player in the lobby avg 2.0kd or 4.0kd. We could have the same stats and be vastly different in skill and be placed in totally different lobbies than me. Like i cab guarantee most people have never seen an actual sweaty lobby in their life with sbmm. Thats the whole point. To have equal skill leveled players. Most cod players are casual players but there are also a lot of people like me who just have a lot of time or have had a lot of time in the past. You dont really want to get the guy who plays 2k+ hours every year on fps games in almost all of your casual lobbies. There are enough of highly skilled people for that to happen.
@ yea there are bot lobbies. There are also many high skilled players. Probably way more than under 0.5 kd players. Like i have seen so many people be like ”i have 1.5-2 kd and I know im better than most people”. Sure might be true. You are still getting clapped almost every game because top 10% players statistically would be in every single game on either side.
Playing COD with my wife creates the perfect balance We queue together and it balances the lobby between us, so I’m not totally walking over them, but I’m frying, and she’s not totally getting destroyed, even though she’s not doing as well as when she plays by herself
I honestly haven’t noticed it that bad. K/D is about 1.40. My win loss ration is like .40 tho. Like my team mates are horrible, but I pretty much always top the leader boards. It’s like Me and maybe one other teammates Vs a team of skilled players.
I’m late, but I kind of like the SBMM. Going up against actual players is a challenge, and it’s made me so much better at the game. I understand why people dislike it, but I just enjoy sweating my ass off.
2-Boxing is by far the best way to avoid SBMM. VPNs can work at certain times, but they are generally very inconsistent and you often have to manually change the regions you connect to. With 2-Boxing you can simply have your bot account in your party, which will basicly disable SBMM and give you normal lobbies, or you can join your bot account when it connects to a lobby and just stomp everyone.
I have a 1.17 kd, highest streak of 14, I wouldn't say I'm cracked by any means. You've heard the story before, you can't play casually anymore, I work at a factory, come home, and want to chill on Cod, but I can't do that anymore, every lobby I get into is full of sweats. SBMM is negatively impacting every single demographic of player, so what do I think? 2 box ladies and gentlemen as long as it's affordable (I can't cuz I'm broke af) You want a causal experience? 2 box. You want to hit clips? 2 box. Create a problem for the devs, as this whole system is a problem for us To think that having both a casual mode and ranked mode OR expanding the range of players in matchmaking would fix this (They don't because they make more money this way)
If you look at Swagg’s recent nuked out video, look at the enemies ranks. He’s prestige master and everyone else isn’t even prestige. This is a perfect example what Ink is saying.
Hell, it seems like i can't keep my shots on target long enough to kill anything. Feels like an ice skating rink. People strafe too fast and slide too fast for me to keep up with them, and they just turn around and kill me after I've been hitting them with everything. The game has some great stuff to it, but the gun fights are about to make me start camping or play something else.
I never understood why games don’t just make it to where there’s 3 sections of the multiplayer and each has a XP multiplier. It’s like they are afraid to give us xp or something cause they think we are gonna get bored fast, it can be something like: Social - 1x basic xp Competitive - 2x double xp Ranked - 3x triple xp Social would have zero SBMM basic xp and competitive would have double xp so you know… you would want to play that one when your really wanna try hard to rank up. Best rewards would be ranked. Just always made sense to me cause you would have to spend more time to rank up in social bracket.
I haven’t had a problem with SBMM in BO6 I think people are just gaslighting, I only have a 1.2 Elim/Death but when I don’t use melee weapons or snipers for camos I go positive every match.
You go "positive" every match because there are no assists anymore and shooting a guy once nets you a 100 point "elimination" even when you don't deliver the finishing blow. You're falling for this games tricks to make you feel better about yourself and keep playing.
Hardcore gamers want a challenge, Casual gamers want to have fun , i consider myself as a hardcore gamer , i play every game on max difficulty and i love souls games , but even i , i want to relax sometimes and that's why there should be ranked , and sbmm should only be on ranked and let pub game with no sbmm so everybody have what they want , if you want to relax go pubs if you want challenge go ranked , that's it , i don't know why they still haven't done this yet . A casual match for someone is a sweaty match for someone else.
@ idc about the casualness of it, it should be random 😂 it’s not ranked. No other game does sbmm. It’s stupid to have to worry about stuff like that when you’re in a casual playlist

The amount of unemployment lobbies I've been sent to after going a little more positive than usual the match before is insane

Good fucking term 😂😂😂
lol seriously I’ve had multiple matches where no matter what if I got a kill it was somebody there to kill me instantly or they some how get me in a 2v1 situation. shits annoying after a couple hours of playing like I’m training for a cod tournament I just go hop on zombies.

Thought it's easier for you, it may be much harder for them
COD needs to go back to Connection/Latency Based matchmaking
That’s literally the only solution
Unfortunately that will not happen. They are making too much money with sbmm implemented.

It's bad
1000% my experience
BO4 was the last COD that had a normal sbmm. Since 2019 it’s been painful how the matchmaking works.
Facts
@@alkestoswhy would people pay for those accounts? I don't get it, the KD only stays ass for a little while.
bo4 was the last good cod imo

@@glitchingghost7560 No he's not.
@ idk I been playing cod for 16 years now and I’am pretty aware just by playing whether or not the game has sbmm. When the matches feel rigged it feels like the game has no soul because if you have a good game then you know what’s coming in the next one.
Any game that makes you go this far to have fun and not be manipulated isn’t worth playing
YOU WILL NEVER BE A PRO, SO STOP TRYING) But to the people with 2+Kd who actually just chills in casual like myself. Start LEAVING, Start 2 BOXING, start VPN'ing, STOP BUYING SKINS!
(JUST TO BE CLEAR!)
I do not want SBMM GONE. I WANT IT TUNED DOWN! I want the protected bracket to be protected, but just because i have a 3+KD does not mean i wanna play 18 Year old version of on COCAINE EVERY LOBBY! I want to have some variation, some randomness in the matchmaking
Yes it needs to be adjusted but not removed. It’s too strong.
Don’t encourage people to two box. It’s not cool to do that.
Should I 2 box then
Everybody gonna come at me.

Sbmm has ruined the fun for me as a casual even though Sbmm is supposed to be in benefit for people like me
How I reduce my SBMM:
Use pistols only. Or melee-only. Or some other kind of restriction that I can still mess around with, but is definitely still fun.

My drifting sleep schedule means that I sometimes go a while without ever having to worry about this and sometimes it's the absolute bane of my existence. ._.
Sorry, gutsick today and it apparently really makes me just uh.. humorously enough spill my guts.
reverse boosting is sanding. Boosting isn’t reverse boosting

I thought ranked mode is about finding out who's the sweatest sweat on the planet. 2.0 and 3.0 still have huge difference.
what they need to do is bring back the basic training mode tht was in the old school cods and bring back the matchmaking system they were using during the golden days
Doesn’t help when they spawn trap either. Can’t even run 2 feet infront of me without being sniped by a dude mounted behind a wall
Hell nah playing with friends is worse that shit got me in CDL lobbies
I was following until the part about being matched against people with 0.7-8.0 kds, at that point almost every player would be eligible and the game functionally no longer has sbmm at all
But this is called smurfing and it's been happening for longer then 2019..
Beyond the subject I wish they could add payback 24/7, Derelict 24/7 and subsonic 24/7
Ive tanked my stats sometimes chasing cams or challenges. playing pistol only, going for headshots etc. After completing the challenge I switch back to my standard gameplay with proper weapons and feel like the god of war as I ruin through noobs.
The SBMM is so thick I've lost all motivation to play the game. The worst modern COD yet.
And that kids is why I mainly spend my time grinding camos in Zombies, whenever I do play MP to mix it up I just play Infected.
I have no idea how people enjoy doing this.
People also don’t enjoy playing against 6 man’s getting absolutely destroyed. Activision created this mess and they have to deal with it
I’ve been on Call of Duty since 2003, and Hardcore mode has always been my go-to whenever it’s available.
Most people aren’t as good at games as they think they are
I'm happy for SBMM to exist in some degree, lobbies where no one shoots back are boring as hell.
This explains why i see clips of people getting like 6 kills in a row but the enemies arent shooting or aiming at u smh
It’s cheating and still messed up.
@@joshuacollins9316 I dont think so. Its using the algorithm to my advantage. If you think 2Boxing is cheating... then that means its also cheating if i play COD with lesser skilled friends. Thats all 2boxing is... its an imaginary lesser skilled friend
@@joshuacollins9316 Activision started the manipulation.. not me.
@@Krazyman5150ninja naw. It’s like being a heavyweight going up against lightweights.
Some of those low KD lobbies are protected and legit have people with disabilities lol if you’re really 2boxing the way most streamers do.
So ruining their games by cheating the system is cheating. If it wasn’t then you wouldn’t need to manipulate the system to do it.
@@joshuacollins9316Chances are it's more like you're playing against the average American, not someone with a disability. Though that could be considered a disability.
EOMM is even worse than SBMM, it nerfs you in real time
SBMM is so strong i can’t even play with friends.
Would you recommend the game for a 1.5kd player who doesn’t like sbmm
No
Fuck no
Nope
Not at all! Dont give these idiots any of your hard earned $. Get rid of SBMM YA DUMBASSES. You truly have destroyed COD!!! Nit the same since bo3. Develop a good game for a change, not this annoying sweat lobby bs
After 12am it’s sweat lobbies that’s the only time I notice
Currently on a streak of losing 18 games in a row. Can't believe how badly companies have ruined online gaming. Literally unplayable at this point for me.
Start a game. Get killed. Quit match. 2 times. Next lobby. EASY. FUN. ENJOYABLE. It's insane just how much you can play the game without a towel over your neck
I keep backing out of matches, I feel like this game is forcing me to be at 1 K/D. I can’t get more than one kill at a time! It’s making me sick…
Same here but i got unbanned now through someone i suggest you send a request for help
Minotools
On instagram
You should call those people out that 2 box and cheat
It’s not cheating. Manipulating being manipulated is justified
Boo hoo papa
i dont blame them nobody wants to play a six stack that plays like its life or death sbmm should only be in ranked
How dare people find a way to have fun and enjoy themselves. If being miserable and hating the game is your idea of fun then good for you.
@@jj.jayjay.you don't blame them even if they purposely lie to Their audience which usually happens most the time.
I changed my username to RemoveSBMM and started the road to dropping my KD to 0.3. SBMM is garbage and I want to ruin whatever data they collect and use
I have been going negative for 2 weeks and my lobbies still aren’t getting any better. It actually feels like they are getting worse
I think if they implemented a feature to where you had a time limit to join another game after quitting after 3 games or so... I think that would help with the 2 boxing.
Dying Light 1&2 top tier games!
Good sponsor.
Lovely experiences
techland sponsoring you actually got me to play DL2 again 😂😭
Highly doubt it you forget it there are bot lobbies aswell and it would be eaiser aswell
@ yea there are bot lobbies. There are also many high skilled players. Probably way more than under 0.5 kd players.
Like i have seen so many people be like ”i have 1.5-2 kd and I know im better than most people”. Sure might be true. You are still getting clapped almost every game because top 10% players statistically would be in every single game on either side.
it’s funny how people are just not finding out about 2 boxing. trickshotters have been doing it for YEARS 😂 glad to see everyone else catching up
i started ts in mw2 and never heard of this while playing with a bunch of other clans including bigger ones simply because it wasnt necessary
@ i mean of course not everyone did it or knew about it but i definitely started doing this because of trickshotting
ONLY ISSUE is when you play hardcore it feels like sbmm is exceptionally worse im losing my mind
Playing COD with my wife creates the perfect balance
We queue together and it balances the lobby between us, so I’m not totally walking over them, but I’m frying, and she’s not totally getting destroyed, even though she’s not doing as well as when she plays by herself
I just don’t understand why multiplayer needs it… ranked and war zone is where skill based anything should be involved.
I honestly haven’t noticed it that bad. K/D is about 1.40. My win loss ration is like .40 tho. Like my team mates are horrible, but I pretty much always top the leader boards. It’s like Me and maybe one other teammates Vs a team of skilled players.
If I party up with one friend, the matches seem ok but if I party up with 3-4 friends, the matches get weird with the connection and hit reg.
I’m late, but I kind of like the SBMM. Going up against actual players is a challenge, and it’s made me so much better at the game. I understand why people dislike it, but I just enjoy sweating my ass off.
Its pretty difficult to have fun anymore. Yesterday lost every match. Teammates are always garbage.
Well now it’s impossible even with my bot account having 0s across all stats with 12+ games played
2 box ladies and gentlemen as long as it's affordable (I can't cuz I'm broke af)
You want a causal experience? 2 box. You want to hit clips? 2 box.
Create a problem for the devs, as this whole system is a problem for us
To think that having both a casual mode and ranked mode OR expanding the range of players in matchmaking would fix this (They don't because they make more money this way)
your right. i got a 1.8 with the same experience it doesnt matter the kd the lobbies will always be sweaty with sbmm
Same here. I only have a 1.23.
They could sort it all by making SBMM an option
If you look at Swagg’s recent nuked out video, look at the enemies ranks. He’s prestige master and everyone else isn’t even prestige. This is a perfect example what Ink is saying.
imagine doing all that work just to get a better lobby😂
It ruined my experience and many more way more then that stupid protected bracket they just screw over their loyal fan base for years
I dont want all the easy cupcake lobbies. I dont want all the super swearfest mlg lobbies. I just want some variety. I want old cod matchmaking back.
They can’t patch session joining of just qeueing w a bot account
Whatever black ops 4 had they should bring it back. Some nights I’d get smacked around, some nights I dropped nuclears. It was fair.
If timmy no thumbs doesnt like people 2boxing them maybe he should go play a private match against bots
real shi
Hell, it seems like i can't keep my shots on target long enough to kill anything. Feels like an ice skating rink. People strafe too fast and slide too fast for me to keep up with them, and they just turn around and kill me after I've been hitting them with everything. The game has some great stuff to it, but the gun fights are about to make me start camping or play something else.
this game really needs a separate playlist for no sbmm.
if they don't care then they need to widen the skill bracket.
I never understood why games don’t just make it to where there’s 3 sections of the multiplayer and each has a XP multiplier. It’s like they are afraid to give us xp or something cause they think we are gonna get bored fast, it can be something like:
Social - 1x basic xp
Competitive - 2x double xp
Ranked - 3x triple xp
Social would have zero SBMM basic xp and competitive would have double xp so you know… you would want to play that one when your really wanna try hard to rank up. Best rewards would be ranked. Just always made sense to me cause you would have to spend more time to rank up in social bracket.
It feels like every game is going at 100 mph
Let the players chose
My first ever match was against prestige 2 and 3...so SBMM should've put me on level one right?
Explains why I always so tired
Damn cool vid that’s information I did not know.i always wondered why my teammates were not moving
RUclips put my video automatically in 144p💀💀
Well turn it up to 1080p😅
