As I said in the end of the video, I also have a regular Blender video coming up soon! This is a bit of an experiment to see if there's any fertile ground to share these sorts of things also. Please voice your opinions freely, but remember to stay civil :)

You're so right! Unfortunately, the growth of social media appears to be drawing more and more people into the 'battlefield' - everything seems to be turning into a huge football match, in which you are made to take one side or the other. Of course, many if not most of today's politicians love it, as do main-stream media too - the politics of division and anger preserve power for the one and sells news for the other!

Thanks for the comment! I studied audiovisual media in college for a bit (never finished), but it was more about videography/filmmaking stuff. 95% of what I've learned regarding 3d stuff has come from the internet, and from lots of practice over the years making commercial animations etc. Most of
I did start learning 3d on my own at quite a young age (I think I was ~15), but I'd say one of the most beneficial things for me has been the fact that I've always done many kinds of art: drawing, music, photography, videography.. It makes for a wider perspective on aesthetic things in general, which certainly helps in 3d stuff too!
You should definitely keep going with 3d, it's a very rewarding hobby! :) Try to take on small enough projects at first if it becomes too daunting. Often it's difficult at first when one's practical skills don't yet match the imagination, but it gets better!
