    Our perception of music artists and celebrities are not always what they appear to be. However, it takes drive, ambition, and skill, sprinkled with some unique personality traits to pull off the kind of musical resume that Bernard has achieved. Thank you.

    Mr Sumner & Mr Gillespie. Two softly speakers, two major canners, both stunningly influential, love `em both. Shoot Speed / Kill Light, brothers!

      That "love and passion" part was my personal fave. He's so cheeky there! When he said he'd try anything once and "I'm just a good clean livin guy."😜 And what he fantasizes about...making love to a computer." Ha!!

  • @chinny_reckon
    @chinny_reckon 7 дней назад

    This was quite a clever format actually - they could get away with asking personal questions because the interviewer 'wasn't a real person'. Imagine Terry Wogan asking him "have you ever been arrested?"

    Wow I remember this programme. I remember thinking it was outrageously futuristic to be able to talk to a computer and have a touch screen. Of course it was fake but the real thing is unremarkable now

    • @MegaLoquendo2000
      @MegaLoquendo2000 9 месяцев назад

      Not unremarkable, it's pretty much the whole thing nowadays, of course computers don't have any emotions or anything like that but advancements in technology have been revolutionary

    I don't really think our Bernard is terribly truthful in this test.
    Kind of begs the question why he agreed to take part.

    If you ever meet Hooky, ask him "just how tight is Barney?" Make sure you've got some free time though, because that could be a conversation that lasted hours, just with his multitude of examples. Hooky? He'd give you his last fiver and not care. Sumner? If you were literally dying of thirst, he'd make you sign an IOU before buying you a drink.

    • @watermelonineasterhay
      @watermelonineasterhay 2 месяца назад +1

      Hooky needs to learn the phrase "people in glass houses" he fucked the band over multiple times, forged Ian's signature, gave his pregnant wife an STI then ran off with a roadie.. Barney is simply a product of his upbringing and had an upsetting childhood so was conditioned by that.
