I know you didn't mean anything negative. 😊 I guess the simplest way to explain it is that hearing this version with the melody on saxophone has a lonely and introspective sound to me that reminds me of things like old film noir music which I usually associate with scenes that portray an "empty city street on a night that may be rainy." Also, I weirdly enjoy depressing ambience like that or say, staring out a window on a grey, cloudy day, etc. But all art perception is subjective and influenced by individual life experience, so I know others may associate this with something completely different. E.g. The original video game version of this song used to get me aroused because of a previous sexual experience (LONG ago, lol) while the song was playing. But I highly doubt anyone else would consider this song as anything erotic. Or the classical pieces you mentioned, I get how you could relate to them in that way, but I picture childhood memories of sunny days and friends playing outside because I was usually stuck in piano lessons fumbling my way through pieces like them. God I hate it when musicians dont play the part as written live. The main melody is the best part of this song and he keeps half playing it at the start. Like why??? And then when he plays it later he starts riffing ugh. Just play the part straight. Don't be like some jaded lead singer that sings only half the parts.

Yeah, the guitar solos sound pretty bad as well.
That high pitch sound in the beginning pierced my ears, pretty sure it's the quality of the recording but... ouch, still.
