Well you need the alcohol and the cotton to clean your baby nabel when he or she is born and also the olive oil is to rub your baby skin when he or she just born to keek the skin soft and moist not sure if that it what the olive oil do ....
When I went to the hospital with my sister when she was going to deliver, I was told to "pack out the items needed for her and baby into the basin". So storage I guess... lol :) #teamblankets

Unfortunately public hospitals don’t give you much, I however ended up changing to a private hospital which required a little less items but still more than you’d expect lol.
