    This is the best Gimbal Setup video for the ZV-E10 I've seen yet, and I watched probably all the available ZV-E10 Gimbal Setup videos on RUclips ahahaha
    Thanks for the to-the-point, easy to understand guide!

    Hi...there!
    Thanks for sharing your videos. Question for you, can the DJI OSMO ACTION 4 works with this gimbal by using the usbc cable for recording from the gimbal button?
    Thanks in advance for reply...

    Beautiful. Video is precise and to the point. You are an excellent teacher. Thank you so much. I have 2 doubts. (1) Can the Crane M3 support ZV E10 with Sigma 16 mm f 1.4 DC DN attached? (2) Do you think the Smallrig Case for ZV E10 makes the job easier by increasing the net camera weight? Thanks once again.

    • @NomadicFilmmaker
      @NomadicFilmmaker  2 года назад

      Hi! I bought the smallrig cage for use with my Tamron 11-20 on that gimbal! I’m guessing it should help with other heavier lenses too na.

    your last comment and demonstration is so helpful...that the crane m3 can handle the full extension of the sigma 18-50. However, I'm not sure if it will work with my sony a6600 camera.

    • @NomadicFilmmaker
      @NomadicFilmmaker  3 года назад

      Hey! I think I saw your other comment. The weight difference the A6600 and ZV-E10 bodies are quite significant, but I'm assuming it can work for short periods of time. But don't take my word for it because I don't have real experience with the A6600. :)

    So if using one lens only once balance and then just remove clamp/put clamp back? And then possible pack gimbal back ?
    Thank you !

    • @NomadicFilmmaker
      @NomadicFilmmaker  Год назад

      Ideally, that would be the case. But it doesn’t always happen :(
      I’d probably make a video about this.

    Hi! Did you manage to control the camera start / stop recording with the type c to type c cable? For me it's not working

    • @NomadicFilmmaker
      @NomadicFilmmaker  2 года назад +2

      No, it doesn't work for me either. I don't think it's supported.

    • @ProtoMarcus
      @ProtoMarcus Год назад +1

      Unfortunately the camera controls for the ZV-E10 are not supported as of now. You need the Crane M3 Bluetooth Module... It really sucks, because it is compatible with the older ZV-1!

    Wonder if it would help to balance it at like 30mm so it’s not such a big change back to 18 or up to 50

    • @NomadicFilmmaker
      @NomadicFilmmaker  2 года назад +1

      Yes, I balance the gimbal for 18mm since it's the focal length I most frequently use, but I change to other focal lengths from time to time and it still works! :)

    I am using with sony zv e10, I have purchased rode shotgun mic and now I am unable to balance the gimbal with mic on top. Could you please advise what can be done now ?

    • @NomadicFilmmaker
      @NomadicFilmmaker  2 года назад

      Hi! This may not solve your issue but I'd just like to let you know that I actually have the same issue when mounting my Rode Video Mic Go on the ZV-E10. I think it's a bit physically impossible as the gimbal is too small to accommodate this setup. If you are using a smaller shotgun mic, maybe it could work if you add counterweights to the camera. Just a hypothesis. Best of luck!

    Do you think the ZV-E10 & 18-105 F4 lens combo would work with this gimbal?

    • @NomadicFilmmaker
      @NomadicFilmmaker  2 года назад +1

      Hm, I’m not sure about the 18-105, you can compare the weight of the 2 lenses. I also have the Tamron 18-20, I had to use a cage to act as a counterweight because the lens is too heavy. You might look into that option too :)

    you can connect the zve10 with CraneM3 by cable or bluetooth to press record button on the gimbal ????

    • @JasmineHuang-rt8vm
      @JasmineHuang-rt8vm Год назад +1

      you need to mount a TransMount CRANE-M3Expansion Base for the gimbal and mount a Bluetooth Control Unit for the ZVE-10

    Bro what will happen when you change the focal length of the lens like you have adjusted on 18mm if you make 50 mm during the shoot ....what will happen ?
    1.Does the gimbal struggle
    2.does it loose its control when you max the focal length(55mm)
    At first its lens adjusted on 16 mm

      You may adjust the motor level to try, if the motor level is not match your camera will also cause the vibrate.

    Bro atleast shorten the gap between the camera and the gimbal tilt axis first...why you keeping so much gap...?

    • @NomadicFilmmaker
      @NomadicFilmmaker  2 года назад

      Hi, thanks for the feedback! My process is to balance the tilt axis first while the other axes are locked. When I move on to the roll axis, that is when I increase/decrease the gap between the camera and the tilt axis. Does this answer your question?
