It is a beautiful song, and so real, he really hated being away from his family when touring the country. It's one of the reasons he didn't bother striving for international success. He has been well known here since a teenager in the 60's, but didn't even really reach super stardom here until the mid 80's, by which time he was married with kids and simply didn't want to be away for so long. He is an amazing person as well as performer. Great reaction, as always. ❤

If you really wa t to see John's power you need to check out his version of "When the war is over" from his "Last Time" concert. John is 50ish in this, and the emotion he puts into this song is literally breathtaking.

It doesent matter what genre he sings. He can master them all. And im not kidding. He is definetly one of the best male singers of all time. I truly hope that he gets well again and back on stage where he belongs. He was still a pheonomal singer in his 70 ties. So much better than most singers 30 years younger than him.

Completely different music, but his performance in each of them will blow you away!

There are so many to pick from. Also he sings That’s What Love will Make you do (I hope I got that right). It is John singing some jazz.

I think the words Please don’t hang up on me there’s nothing else I know how to do, say it all. John puts his soul and energy into everything he sings. As well as that he’s technically perfect, which makes him the most amazing singer on the planet. One reaction I’d like to see is When the War is over, live The last time, 2003. @@jennygavrilovic7415 Absolutely he will be - I was at the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra concert (all those years ago lol) and can tell you that once the concert was over, everyone in the carpark were talking about 2 songs "Long way to the top" and "Help". It was a magical night, the likes of I'll never see again lol

@@jennygavrilovic7415 So nice to actually chat with another person who was there - not many of us around, especially here in Perth lol.....I have a hard time choosing between MSO concert and The Main Event as my favourite, for obvious reasons - BOTH were nights that I will never forget, and I get excessive goosebumps when I see the video's even all these years later. We were so very lucky to witness such talent and musical greatness. At the moment though, I'm sending half my healing vibes in Jimmy Barnes direction, been sending them to John for the last few months, Jimmy's turn now --- gotta say, I really don't like 2022, lost Judith duram, lost Archie Roach, lost Olivie NJ, Farnsey with jaw cancer and now Jimmy with back and hip surgery, it's all been a bit too much this year, hurry up 2023 and bring better things our way please - enough of the bad crap already lol Oh, and I was 24 lol

Even the bad ones... the early stuff was a bit cringe worthy when he didn't have a say in what he sang...are still the same person still the same personality still the same voice.
