@@meanman6992 Man to TBH it might not be that hard to mod a tesla to go that fast or even faster just double the voltage and you double the power of electric motors. good quality motors can handle doubling or even tripling of voltage for short durations of use such as a drag race. I imagine if someone wanted and had the money to dump for one to ruin it as a daily car they could rewire some of the battery modules out of parallel and add them in series to do so. Electric motors have nearly limitless potential in regards to performance compared to combustion engines

Pre-ignition/ backfiring is what can wreck the motor,and can blow the supercharger right off the top of the engine. Next thing, you guys will be whooping out the windows, hitting the nitromethane injection bottom to go to plaid speed.. could use a " breather box/ oil blowby separator.. sweet build ! Sounds 😍
yes its nice to see a patient tuner. customers used to get mad at me for taking my time and making it perfect but they'll be the same ones to blame you if it scatters.

Not sure if they’re in here yet but I’m going to look now. Kevin is one hell of a tuner. I’ve never actually punched a key board and even been able to read a dyno graph that well. I even learned a ton from him. Our application is 100% N/A but the info here was amazing. Great job brother.

Yep, being under the Snap-On tent at summer nationals watching the guys test and tune the funny car after a rebuild. Every single one of them has a gas mask on, and I sure wished I did too.

Its rwhp × 1.x= crank hp x= being the drive train loss. A truck x can be as high as 30% loss modern 8 speed autos are usually around 12% so for a car like a this it would look like this 962x1.20=1152 crank hp ish.

Did John Force race alcohol cars, too? I know the top fuel cars will absolutely blind you instantly, they sure did me the one big NHRA event I went to.
I got too hang out with John Force at heartland park. It was insane being right next to the car when they warmed it up. I thought watching them up close rebuilding the motor after each pass was the best part

The racing is borring to me (can't stand watching any sports, even competitive shooting when friends or family do it....and I am a competitive shooter as well). I do watch cletus and the guys run, but that is only because it is part of the whole story of what happens off the track. My hobbies and the way I make a living are by working with my hands and building or repairing stuff. Those guys have a great job.
You should have a special insert that you put underneath the wheel well in the back so that when the tires do explode they don't destroy the car just a thought

I had a big block 3rd gen. It was pretty damn rowdy. Really really scary car. That was an N/A 396. I can’t imagine how that beast feels at over 600ci and a giant blower. Big blocks are just completely different animals than LS engines and Ford DOHC v8s. The instant torque is addicting.

Bump the cam 2 to 4 degrees to the crank! Instead of the timing always helped my 69 bird before I blew it up! Valve kissed a piston had like 4 missiles go thru the valve cove and stick in the hood! Do be carefully! Midland dragway! 140 mph then engine brake! What a ride 1975??

Armando Hernandez every single engine ever made has blowby, plus this is a huge engine built for boost with assuming large ring gaps so yea it’s gunna huff some air it’s no big deal.
We learned how to read spark plugs.You would make a full pass and cut the engine off clean.Then pull the plugs.Champion used to put on seminars for plug reading.

When i worked in a speed shop, one of the boost/nitrous engines we put in a truck would blow smoke out of the breathers at idle, I cant' even imagine it under load on a dyno.
P.s. don't stick your arm near or in blower, or try and stop rear tire with foot, especially opposite way it's spinning, basically toying with insane high power stuff, that how get hurt.

That blowby “smoke” isn’t smoke it is water vapor. Ethanol puts off a shit load of water when it burns and some gets into the crankcase.

Armando Hernandez every single engine ever made has blowby, plus this is a huge engine built for boost with assuming large ring gaps so yea it’s gunna huff some air it’s no big deal.

When i worked in a speed shop, one of the boost/nitrous engines we put in a truck would blow smoke out of the breathers at idle, I cant' even imagine it under load on a dyno.
I like how it's so powerful, that a small blip of throttle, startles itself and stalls it out.
P.s. don't stick your arm near or in blower, or try and stop rear tire with foot, especially opposite way it's spinning, basically toying with insane high power stuff, that how get hurt.
