    Please did you measure the second cup width on the chest line of the pattern or you measured it from your body ..

      @@stitchesbytale please I mean the 8 inches, is it standard for every body type? If No ,, how will you calculate for the 8 inches

    This's so detailed...pls when measuring the Nipple to Nipple point for corsets...Do you add 0.5inch like we do for bustiers, or you measure with the exact measurement..e.g..If it's 7...will it be 3.5 on fold or 4" on fold?

    • @stitchesbytale
      @stitchesbytale  2 года назад +1

      It’s totally a choice if you add 0.5 inch when drafting, that means you already add the joining allowance so when cutting on fabric you won’t add joining allowance anymore but if you didn’t add 0.5 inch when drafting you must add it when cutting on fabric

    Can you please tell me if 0.5 should be added to the burst point or not?

      I don’t understand your question

    • @FadeLuse
      @FadeLuse 2 года назад

      @@stitchesbytale I think she's referring to the 0.5 you take from the center of the pattern when you want to make the cleavage depth.

      Okay..
      Let me explain this way..
      My burst point is 11 so while cutting on fabric am I to add 0.5 to it or just measured the 11??

    This pattern is applicable for a big bust size of 42 44

    • @stitchesbytale
      @stitchesbytale  2 года назад +2

      Yes just draft out your bodice block using the person’s measurement
      For a bigger bust after getting the neck dept, you should go in on the cleavage line by 0.75 or 1 inch
