This is just what I was looking for...actually have an old dress with a zipper in the middle that I want to keep in the construction, so I will be leaving out the back loops. This was an excellent explanation of things.

You will measure the distance between your bust point and your underbust point to get your bust cup size

No the measurement differs a bigger bust needs bigger measurement
Measure from your bust point to under bust and use the measurement you get to make the circle

Why did you add half inch to creat the upperburst conturing after measuring the underburst you got 1.5?
It wasn’t half inch I added it added 0.75 which is three quarters is an inch

Measuring from your shoulder to your chest area it’s between 5-7 inches depending on how big you are

Thanks for the tutorial but am lost in all, you were too fast, couldn't understand anything because am a beginner. Am kinda of confused. Pls throw more light for persons like me. Thanks
You should watch it step by step over and over again you will get to understand it better
And when watching write down the different steps regarding to what am doing, make reference to what you have written down when watching it again you will understand better
Try turning on the captions to keep up, and slow down the speed of the video. You might find it easier to follow if you turn your pattern paper in the same direction she has it in the video. I hope these can help. Took me a while to get the hang of pattern making but you will catch on really quick following these instructions.
