He is very recognized by people who watched him play. Football is like that. You are young so you have never seen Romario play and you think Portuguese ronaldo is a better striker than him. Your current players don't impress us at all despite their records. We know what we saw is better and we know young players don't know
Serie A strongest league in the world. Even in 1992/93 he was scoring a lot would have finished top of the charts if it wasn't for getting injured@@denniskoeman3098
As a Milan fan I tell you that this was a tragic moment. Van Basten's farewell at San Siro and Capello's tears are a watershed in the glorious AC Milan history
When see his goodbye to the fans and Capello cry I can't keep my eyes dry too. So intense and emotionial. He was way too young to stop playing football. Who knows what he could win more with A.C. Milan and the Dutch national team. A true legend retired that day in San Siro.😔🙏
Fanum FuckedYourDaughter #GOAT #BronxBornAndRaised That’s obviously a rhetorical question but honestly Van Basten is up there for best Milan player when talking in terms of ability.
@@SurferWilly He made some outrageous tackles on van Basten. The tackle at the 88 European Championship from Kohler In the semi final was the first of many.
@@bulldogjoe1804 ah that was too early for my era. My first European Championship I saw was when Denmark won it 1992. But I do know Van Basten made one of the best goal in that 88 tournament. Was he "injured" when he made one of the goals of the century?
@@SurferWilly No he just came back from an injury. Almost did not make the squad for the tournament. Luckily for us he did. The Kohler tackle did not injure him that time but it was the beginning of some murder attempts on his ankles. He was dead tired when he made that wondergoal. Thats why he took it on the volley because he was to tired to control the ball and continue the attack.
Marco van Basten was one of the greatest center forwards ever. What a tragedy that injury cut his career short.
with Brazilian Ronaldo, they're the two greatest centre forwards I ever saw. Fantastic

Ronaldo (brasil) and him are the 2 best strikers.
I'm Brazilian and I'm sorry Cristiano Ronaldo fans, but what Marco Van Basten played in his career, Cristiano Ronaldo will never play!
The way Milan was toyed with in Serie A in 96, 97, 98 and 99 would never have happened.
Let alone Ajax beat us in group stage and final
Do you mean Ajax was bad in those years? Or do I not understand this correctly. That Ajax team is one of the greatest ever.
ajax would have beaten you anyways , don't cry
Ajax got lucky with a Kluivert goal. He was hopeless anyway failed in Serie A after and ran to la liga@@thewolverine7516
