just saw him tonight in San Francisco. I can't even explain the experience. It's as if a soul is speaking - directly and in a most compelling, urgent way.
I was present during the concert. Simply mesmerizing - people were listening with their eyes closed. A melancholic almost hypnotical atmosphere! Great recording!
Absolutely marvelous trio. Along with Brad Mehldau, Marcin Waselewski, Bobo Stenson, Jakob Karlzon, Goldings-Stewart-Bernstein, and the Jarrett Standards Trio - I spend many evenings carried by them.
Wow, just wow. I just watched this concert here on RUclips...thru my stereo! Beyond brilliant playing all around and the music is beyond words. My drumming brother Jarle Vespestad's playing is so inspirational. Jarle's subtle brilliantly understated playing has a depth and power that seems other worldly. So, so, so inspirational!!! Thanks Jarle, I needed this deep breath of playing inspiration you provided. I haven't been this moved since I first heard Paul Motian and Jon Christensen.
I became jazz listener from early 90 thru koln concert of keith jarrett. In 2003 sound of TGT made me wonder. Someone said that is hypnoptic. I think it is close to shaman, spiritual. - from seoul, korean
The Albums name is "The other side" not "The Tunnel". "The Tunnel" is a track (#1) on "The other side". Nervermind.
so artistic, that contrast and skill.i feel like i'm walking in a expensive thaj mahal of trumph they had me at from 38.00 and the track at 40.00 wich track is that? what a proffesionals
A few years ago I saw the Tord Gustavsen Quartet at the Oloron jazz festival in SW France -a wonderful experience just like this one, listening to his marvellous trio. Norway is a rich source of virtuoso musicians who play with great creativity- I think these guys are up there amongst the best. A terrific upload-thank you.
Beautiful music, but I don't seem to have the patience to listen to the whole performance, which is my fault. I prefer the quartet with the addition of the sax. Seems to be somewhat influenced by Jan Garberak (sp), and Jarett.

I saw you years ago in Bimhuis. 💙
I am going to Bimhuis today😄
Thank you
I saw them in brazil once....now im a big fan!! 🙏
Very impressive music sound breathing.
Incredible. Sigurd is a wizard with his cello. Between him and the sound modification, he pulled a didjeridoo sound out of his instrument.
Cello?
Это просто прекрасно!
GREAT CONCERT

Does anyone know the name of last song? Please...
Is something like Church is an old house but in norway language. Kirken, den er et gammelt hus. I think so.
Sorry this is the name for the last song of the first part.
In many hymnals it is known as Built on the Rock (the church will stand.)
