I lose wifi a lot, and this REALLY messes with SOTV multiplayer If I lose internet, then it comes back and I rejoin a multiplayer run, it will either spawn me as a larva, or put my camera in the ground; the game completely forgetting which class I was
this happens when you load in without a character selected; you'll default to entity #1 which is a larva. i think its really cool how all the characters and all the enemies are coded as the same type of entity, with their own ability loadouts and all that. must make it really convenient for the devs to program all the held items and test enemy interactions that way
Did you by any chance have a mod that added mithrix to the spawn pool of the stage? cause from what i know the mod only takes mobs from that (at least that's what the mod creator says in the comments of his video trailer of the mod)
That's weird cause someone specifically asked about mithrix and he answered no unless he's been added to the spawn pool, unless he changed it cause that comment is like a year old

Oh, you misunderstand, this was a mod (refightilization by wonda), and yours was a glitch which started happening since the release of survivors of the void.
We were playing with a mod called Refightilization. When you die, you turn into a monster who can attack the living players. If you kill a living player, you'll respawn and they'll turn into a monster. The run ends if they die any other way though. It can lead to some very fun shenanigans. I just happened to spawn as mythrix, which has a very, very, very, very low chance.

I'm pretty sure I didn't have any mod like that. If I did, it would be weird, I didn't have any mod that modifies monster spawns
