Pepe did nothing wrong, actually, they're not actually they're not really "the good guys". But neither are the ISA. The ISA are the bad guys because they're the ones responsible for the exile for the Helghan people and also deaths of billions of people in the terracide, but the Helghast are a totalitarian dictatorship that executes anyone who doesn't comply with Visari's terms and ideologies, they also invaded Vekta after they tried do solve cinflicts through diplomacy, which also resulted in the ISA going to Helghan to take revenge on the invasion brough by thr Helghast. You got two evils and you just gotta decide which one is better than the other when both are almost equally bad.
If they continue on from Shadow Fall, I'd want to see them revert the Helghast uniforms, designs, equipment etc back to more what it looked like in the first three games, if there's a way they can do it that makes sense. And I would say the game should be about frontline battlefield combat rather than the sneaky special forces spy thing they had going in Shadow Fall. There's an opportunity for them to do that with a war between Vekta and New Helghan (which seems likely given what happened), or to maybe set it in a civil war on Gyre. Alternatively, I think they could make a really good Killzone game by going back in the timeline and having you play as a Helghast soldier during the events of the first three games, from the Vektan Campaign on to the ISA Invasion of Helghan up to the Terracide. I think a lot of fans really want to see the story from the Helghast side, it gives them an opportunity to get away from the asethethics and gameplay of Shadow Fall and back to what everyone knows and loves as Killzone. As well, a story about a soldier of a fascist regime going through the Horrors of War™ and becoming disillusioned would probably suit Sony's desire for oscar bait stories just fine lol
my God, this is just amazing. Not only the nostalgia but the intro itself, it´s probably the best game intro. You get to know the plot in less than two minutes. This is.... art
This slapped so hard when I first saw this. Solidified my love for the Helghan empire. No holds bar a true villain empire that was wronged by their enemies and would do anything to achieve victory.
recently i found my psp with Killzone liberation on it and guess what, it still had my old 100% save on it. i played trough the campaign. My favorite part of it was the jetpack section and the free dlc, also some of the chalenges were fun. I used to play this game a lot when i was a little kid and i loved the campaing as much as Battlefield 4 campaing on hard durring the summer, i could even speed run that game bc i played it alot, just like killzone before i got a acces to my brothers pc. i sitll love this game to this day, and i wich i could play it and BF4 once more

Helghast had lost the fight for Vekta at this point BUT Cmdr.Metrac said no to leaving so they turned around and reminded the ISA that they're no cowards
You know when I first played Killzone:liberation I thought I would play the Helghast as a Villain Protagonist imagine my disappointment when I could not.
Notice what's in the background of most of this clip. That's a decaying mushroom cloud. Red Dust was developed by the ISA but was captured by the Helghast. Radec murdered Col Templar for the codes. A lot of people like to shit on the ISA for being the bad guys in the Killzone saga, and they aren't exactly wrong. But Visari nuked his own city just to blame it on the ISA. That's some cold shit.
Killzone Shadowfall became too futuristic in it's art style. All the tech and especially the Helghast uniforms became too much "star wars" like and less realistic looking.
Killzone to Sony: "You couldn't live with your own failure, where did that bring you? Back to me..."
Thanos 👈😑
Man wish we had a Helghast campaign
The Helghast are the real good guys. The ISA are just scum

Killzone, always the best introductions
Man we really need a new Killzone game. Reboot or otherwise idc. Just need a new one.
Thats not as dissapointing as Shadow Fall

We need a Killzone game from the Helghast perspective.
I want a reboot where we play as Helghast, and win.
we definitely need Helghast victory,
As a kid I was so disappointed when I got this game and I wasn’t the cool “bad guys” with the gas masks, but the game was so good.
This is a part of my childhood here
Me too, I miss it
Me three. I got introduced to this game franchise through a friend. He was negative about it till I beat the campaign and wanted to try it himself lol
they really need to remake Killzone 1 and killzone liberation from the ground up, these two games have soo much potential
The Helghast with the flag its just Magnificent!!! ❤😍
my God, this is just amazing. Not only the nostalgia but the intro itself, it´s probably the best game intro. You get to know the plot in less than two minutes.

One of my favourite PSP games, wish they did a sequel!
Or a campaign where you get to play from the Helghast perspective.
Water graphics better than todays💀
I still have my PSP...and this game..
11 yrs ago, this is the most intense cinematic video I have ever seen.

Now THERE is a TRUE Helghast!
The flag may have fallen, but that doesn't mean it has to stay that way.
The camraderie and patriotism is so fucking strong in this moment
This slapped so hard when I first saw this. Solidified my love for the Helghan empire.
No holds bar a true villain empire that was wronged by their enemies and would do anything to achieve victory.
I remember this intro is goes hard as hell and then I realized I’m not on their side
Truly, it makes me want to write my own sci-fi opera where we get to play as the cool guys and the cool guys will be in the right.
This is a fucking intro to a game.
No dialogue, just carnage.
That an things that actually appear in the game.
I remember watching this all the time as a kid
All Hail Mother Helghan!!
General Armin Metrac is a true son and defender of the Helghast dream. I salute this brave son of Helghan!!
Damn,This game is nostalgic for me,Played and completed it, Wasn't able to download the free missions but my psps charger died...
this trailer is badass!!!!!!

Favorite part of the intro and music 0:50 :D
shows awesome nationalistic intro: forces you to play as ISA anyways.
Patriotic* not nationalistic
More violent than I remember :D
The trailer makes it look like the Helghast are liberating Vekta from the invading ISA.
as it should be, no one likes ISA
1:03 killzone liberation
Next killzone should have an Intro like this !!!
Helghast had lost the fight for Vekta at this point BUT Cmdr.Metrac said no to leaving so they turned around and reminded the ISA that they're no cowards
Long Live Helgan
Me encantaba jugar las campañas de killzone , buenísimo 🤙🏽
Ah the nostalgia
ost is crazy ngl

Metrac looks like an Erich von Manstein on steroids
That's a fiercely northern European look.
That helghan general metrac has a dangerous look😶
1:02 ISA
Glory Helghast
1:04 helghast
Who else played this on the psp?
Recommended after 12 years what?!
This was the good old days
what's better than this
guys bein' dudes
I like the fact that Metrak looks like a nice old man, but in the end, he is fucked up like any other helghast troop.
Good :D
Woah memories! This game was great on PSP!!!
3rd Best game
Best intro
Can this intro's music be found anywhere on its own without other sound effects?
Search in downloads(dot)khinsider(dot)com/search?search=Killzone or in Zophar Music.
Good
For a psp game.....its intro is pretty good
Anyone know where to get the music?
When they do a multiplayer killzone

Many parallels with Soviet forces liberating occupied USSR and Europe from the fascists
GLORY TO HELGHAN
Helghan did nothing wrong
They should do a remake of this campaign for PC players who wouldn't want to play this?
0.46 Anderson Cooper is that you!?
What's the song name?

Killzone Shadowfall became too futuristic in it's art style. All the tech and especially the Helghast uniforms became too much "star wars" like and less realistic looking.
it's 50/50 for me on newer helghast uniforms, but I like both of them old and new

I wouldn't call it trash, maybe unique? For a PSP game to take a third-person aerial view FPS shooter is kind of bold move
definitely not trash, ur only saying that cause it was a top down game, if it the psp had a second stick you really wouldn't be saying it was trash

It might not be the best, but I can definitely say that I had a lot of fun with it.
