By far. The only thing bigger than the internet will be the creation of artificial general intelligence or the invention of brain scanning (and hence consciousness uploading) - whichever comes first - although even that these things are bigger than the invention of the internet is debatable.
Yeah internet is the most creative thing humans have created and a great step forward for humanity yet some times I think the step humanity took with the internet was a wrong 1 but who cares tho lol.

There is absolutely no doubt that the Internet is one of the most groundbreaking steps humanity has ever made. The only downside is the way most humans use it...
I am not sure why I keep tearing up while watching this. I think I just miss life before the internet. I wish my kids had gotten to grow up without the internet. But I also owe the internet my life, for being able to connect with people going through the same things I was so I did not feel alone in the world.
I remember when yahoo and Google were starting out even youtube and I'm 23 and I hardly used it back then but by age 12 it started to dominate my life and as a kid gave me more and more to look forward to after school like shopping and going MySpace . It's truly amazing indeed😏
The best, and worst, thing to happen to mankind is not the Internet at all - it's the use of fire! Every technology has its downsides. About how Internet changed my life: I've met my husband, who originally lived 100 miles away, on a dating site. We then used a property website to find our home and contact the estate agent. Now we regularly use online banking to check our bank balances. My husband is a keen gamer who also likes his gadgets, but he never buys anything without finding an online review first. Regarding communication: I use Discord to chat to my gaming buddies, email for business correspondence, Facebook and Viber to keep in touch with my family members in Russia. Hubby regularly chats to his sister in Australia on Skype. I have every reason to believe that my relationship with the Internet is relatively typical for every developed country

Yass! The intro reminds me of Black Mirror. Y’all should get ready to be sucked in Aperture’s world cause it will be one hell of a ride and you won’t want to stop! 🖤👽
I’m 43 and although we had computers in school and computer classes from 85 on, it wasn’t until I was 18-19 when I got on aol for the first time... it was 94’. It split my life. I was one person before, and a different, much smarter person after. It’s hard to believe how much more simple my knowledge was then. It did begin to change me gradually, and the biggest change was around 2010-2012. Looking back I knew absolutely nothing about how the world worked.
