I think if this and the early draft of Float On, along with the other songs on Good News... had the same kind of extended, loose and raw structures to them that album could’ve been their most compelling work. In stead it was only the beginning of the end of their amazing run as a band.

Doctor Pazuzu; minor keys, dissonance, and more cryptic lyrics, all things that help keep songs from popular appeal- I can't blame them for going with a more accessible sound, but I like this version waaaaay better
