Hi, I've just installed my msd 6al digital onto my Ford Essex v6 and it performs very well, except for an overheating distributor rotor, so much so that its melting the insulation around the brass contact... What would cause this,, any suggestions?
I just installed a new 6al digital MSD box for the old 6al analog MSD box. I feel like I was getting better throttle response with the older analog ignition box. Has anyone experience this or know why this may be ?
Yes it does work with all the same coils as the original 6AL.
