  • Friends, it's time to live differently! Last time I bought one of these, it was a cheap-y fast fashion version. This time around, I shopped like a tiny houser!
If you are ready to stop buying mass-made things that fall apart, you can start buying directly from crafts-humans like the one below. Thanks, T! I love it!😍✨

Such fun seeing you so excited for your new purse! I’ve never been one to carry large purses (unless I’m traveling like what you’re about to do). I have a little wristlet size wallet-y thing that holds my cards and that’s it… 😇 I’ll remember this though…because one day it will wear out. 😀

Oh, the wristlet is such a great invention!😍 Haha, I could probably fit my whole self in this purse, but as you said, that comes in handy when traveling!❤❤

I've used a leather hand stitcher, it's not an easy thing! You poke every hole and it lockstitches as you go.

      I'm fascinated! That's so cool that it's something you've done!😍🙌

That's awesome! I didn't use a machine though, just my hands. I used to own one for doing upholstery though. And it saves cramping. Lol

@@tgreenwrites1936 Cool! My hand is reattached after an amputation, so tools are a necessity. My sport sandal came apart on a bike tour and I was a good 40 miles from the nearest shoe store. I tried fixing it with a needle and thread, but it started raining 2 miles down the road and the cotton thread came apart. When I got to my destination, where I was staying with a master craftsman who built the treehouse I was staying in, I brought him the shoe and he taught me how to use the lock stitch tool. It looked like a cross between an awl and a latch hook, with a spool of sinew thread just above the handle. My wrist swelled like a sprain from the strain of it, but I wanted to do it myself. That repair held for 2 more years, before the shoes simply disintegrated.

@@tgreenwrites1936 I actually have a book out about it, and at the end, I state that I've told that story, now I'm moving on to my next one--tiny house life! It took 5 years, but I did it, and I'm a 3-year veteran of tiny housing. :)
