Hey Lou thanks for the support, my number one goal when we designed these was to give a little bit of impact resistance, but also try to keep the weight at an all-time minimal, but also being effective if people should hit an object. I’ve seen a lot of clones but I try to always take a scientific approach when designing our products and test them extensively before we ever release anything. Fun fact, the rib rider version two were actually in testing about 30 days prior to the release of the Avata 2
Thanks! you actually won the contest there was a live drawing.. Would you like the 3d printed prop guards or should we spin again.. ruclips.net/video/dpLKDA46wZQ/видео.html
Nice video thanks. I bought these yesterday so this is good timing. Btw, 2 things... 1) You remind me of Ian Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum) from Jurassic Park, lol. 2) It's pronounced "ett see" ... 😅
Hey Image 7, Congrats.. on winning your new AVATA - try with the motion controller first then level up to the RC, you''ll get more flight in before ya start crashing. Don't forget about the simulator too. Let us know how it goes..
I unfortunately crashed my Avata 2 into a brick column but there's "barely" any sign of the impact. It's not a one crash and done, unless the camera is struck of course.
Totally - some folks can get the same effect with the osmo mobile ya just have to be comfortable doing the camera dance and if you’re really good with the mobile sometime ya can’t tell the difference unless you’re flying out the window which would require a drone All in all these do protect the drone better than the 3d ones I printed and take a ton of weight off…as for the fly through, it takes practice and skill but you’ll eventually get it…just keep practicing Still practice with fly throughs at home so you’re not just winging it when you show up to someone else’s place…
@@How-to-by-Lou haha yeah i'm already practising, gyroflow makes a big difference and to me the drone is more immersive than the gimbal, except for smaller blocks like apartments etc. I guess I just want to make sure the guards help preventing any accidents indoors.
Ken say whatever you want it’s your product and the people know what kind of quality you put out. You can tell it like it is. How many times have people been duped by garbage that was said to be quality. If you have something good sell it in every way possible. Isn’t that the American dream come up with an idea and get rich. Amazon sells crap with “verified reviews” all day long so go for it.

My props. I just won an Avata 2 and could do with some prop guards to give me a bit of confidence. I’ve never flown FPV before.

Amazon clones are the worst, I remember when we designed these over a year ago it was like China couldn’t wait to copy me

'MC3 pointing to drone = better signal' ???
You mean the goggles, because MC3 does NOT connect to drone.
(Avata2 works different than Avata1)

Crappy color. And you don't want the drone to show in reflections of mirrors and glass.
it got log or flat colour
