Hello Heather! I just got my 1st ThredUp shoe box a week ago! I love the mystery of it!

Yay! Once I'm done with listing for the week I'll reward myself with catching up on watching RUclips. I can't wait to see what you got! 🥰

Great video. The only issue I have is that the shoes didn't not sell after four months. Yes they will sell, but there is a strong potential you will have to mark down again. I used to make a huge amount on men's. But they only offer the men's designer now and no longer men's. My new goal for Thred up is just double, no longer triple. And I buy a lot less. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for watching! I agree doubling is more realistic now and that is a bit tough for me as a self proclaimed cheapskate. I appreciate the reminders it is fun and you can learn about new brands, as that does equate to some more value. Oh, what I wouldn't give for a men's box. 😢Happy Selling!

You are so right! Definitely not the optimal sourcing choice but can fill in if a full time job limits your sourcing time and opportunities.
I’m finding with the TU shoe box that on average I will be donating between 2-5 pairs that are just unlistable. The “mystery” part is fun, but not always the best business decision.

I agree the "mystery" is the fun part. I need to find a way to calculate the fun into a dollar value so my cheapness can justify the price, if I don't make a decent return. 😉

I use thredup boxes as a source when I’m not able to go thrifting and also to learn new brands. Also the denim boxes are usually good for me and the cost of goods are lower than the thrift stores.

Smart insight! I've learned so much from ThredUP boxes, I need to remember that is an important factor, as well. I love me a good DIY denim box, too!
