This is my Dolce & Gabbana The One Mysterious Night review. This is a fragrance I was anticipating smelling when I first heard about it but didn't find it anywhere as it's a Middle Eastern exclusive which is available in some London shops. Thankfully I was there recently and upon first smell, I purchased immediately as I loved it right off the bat. It's such a great designer release with a stunning red bottle. I love this. And I hope you all get to try it. But if you have already tried this please do let me know, please add a comment. If you haven't, were you curious to try this one? Or had never heard about it?

For lovely people who asked what is written in the bottle ... Its " Mysterious Night " but written in Arabic 🙈
Tested the fragrance just today. Starts off feminine but every few hours it would turn more and more masculine. I absolutely love it. Oud scents are one of my favorite and I dont normally wear them as they are too strong at times. But this one is synthetic oud mixed with amber, cardamom, saffron and rose. I think it's another unique masterpiece by D&G.
An extreme good fragrance which offers a beautiful combo of rose, oud and the „the One“ DNA. To me the best D&G the One line.
That’s tough because Royal Night is amazing!
iIf you mix ROOH AFZA SHARBAT FROM HAMDARD with milk and drink you get the almost similar notes with this fragrance. I am writing it from INDIA. MUCH HYPED.

Just smelled this today where I work,,luckily I can visit the duty free dept at my airport for smelling visits,.im just waiting to see if it has decent longevity then I might buy this,.stunning smell.

Really intrigued with this one. Been a fan of the line except for Grey which I didn't like but you make this one sound so good. Wish I could buy it now.
I like this and I typically have trouble with rose-dominant frags. Rose comes off as "plasticky" and synthetic to me. But in this the dominant amber seems to tone that down. Amber is the top dominant accord with the strong rose just beneath it. This is my favorite rose frag because the blending with a stronger amber smooths it out so much. Luminous Night is my favorite flanker of the line, but Mysterious Night is very good.

Omg just had a sample i didn't expect it from d&g and i was wow big time. The most balance rose oud combo with nice mix of tonka bean. My best oud one from designer ao far
Hi is this a female scent?
Nico Burton at first it comes off as a strong feminine scent, but overtime once it dries down it becomes more masculine. I got this fragrance today and it really is fantastic!
Just picked up a 150ml , love it awesome and I’m not a fan of rose but this one plays well with the saffron , it’s not in your face Rose. Spicy and the dry down is nice. Smells even better when you spray in on your clothes. Great review.

Actually it s really good for a designer. Very ambery from a point and after but not in an unpleasant way...the oud is very polite and the rose is not heavy...it s good :-)

I enjoyed this review. I'm going to try to get some through friend after traveling hopefully. Hopeful a company in the states can order it if I pay up front...Sephora, etc. If you have more....would you mind doing a list of good synthetic oud fragrances. I think you mentioned polo supreme in the past. I really like that and will wear it. I enjoy some fragrances listed for men....the niche ones are so much more complexed than women's fragrances, in my opinion....especially if you want to smell different, or just enjoy unique fragrances. I have been enjoying your videos for some time, have been taking notes carefully, as I will begin a fragrance collection. Only 40 total, to include 10 niche quality. I'm having fun already....Thank you!!

Hello Sebastian, have you smelled CH men insignia limited edition? It shares the same notes as this, rose, saffron, oud....it smells even better than this and sticks around. Personally, I tried to love the rose but couldn’t and ended up selling it at the end...

I have this but it is quite strong and masculine so I layer it with one of my rose perfumes to have a little more rose than oud.
I had to get used to it and at first i even got headaches but now i like it.
Now I have to try this lol I love rose & oud combo but I feel like it's getting over done but hope to get my nose on this soon

Just bought a bottle pretty cheap. It is really good, isn't it? The rose-oud combo is so subtle, I usually don't go for that even in niche grade scents...
is this frag also good for a 22 year old guy? or is it rather hard to wear?

This is a Beast..! Very long lasting ,,, and very addictive, and its very warm fragrance. I have 150ML 😊
There isn´t tobacco there, maybe it´s a combo about the precious woods, the amber, the Tonka beans and the ladanus/cistus flower for the base notes.
I got this as a Christmas gift. I’m going to say it.. first spray, you’re hit with a giant wall of rose and amber… I was really hoping for it do die down, which it did.. to add a slight spice, slight woody to that giant wall of rose and amber. Honestly it reminds me of my great aunt Margaret and her perfume she kept in that crystal vial with the hand pump for the 1940’s. Needless to say, this smells like a grey haired old woman. I’d never wear this anywhere.. not to say it smells bad, it’s just too old lady.
I need to try this now after this!

I'm trying to get my first rose frag. I'm between Mysterious Night, toy boy, Lyric Man and Cartier Dun Soir.
Which would u recommend?
For me The One is one of those fragrances that was nice as long as I was smelling it on other people or using samples, but when I actually bought it, I have Royal Night, I soon got bored with it and eventually it was downright repulsive, same as Mancera Dark Desire Oud Vanille, another synthetic oud. I'm not a fragrance snob but this does tend to happen with designer fragrances a lot. Another aspect is chemical vs less chemical. Once you've been exposed to higher quality frags it's difficult to overlook the synthetic nature of most designers. I recently had One Million Lucky and Nishane Fan Your Flames side by side, and the coconut and the rum and whatever else is in Fan Your Flames is instantly recognizable as natural smelling while Lucky is just so plastic by comparison it turns you off.
A iPhone 11 takes nice pics- but when an iPhone 13 pro max takes those exact same pictures, u realize why it cost what it does, in comparison.

The Arabic word on the bottle translation is Magical Light.

@@YL_SC if you're gonna blind buy and want to play safe, go for the original EDP. Mysterious Night comprises of 4 major notes: "Rose, Saffron, Oud and Tonka bean. You get the rose on top with a wee bit of saffron in the top and mids, then towards the dry down it's rose, non skany oud and added sweetness from the tonka bean. The oud is faint here. Rose and Oud is a match made in heaven so if you're looking to be a bit out there, go for Mysterious Night.

@@dbcrambo1473 I haven't had the chance to sniff Oud Ispahan but someone I know sold off his Mysterious Night because he had purchased Oud Ispahan. He told me Dior is better but this one is amazing in its own right.

WOW! Now I smelt this whilst in the middle east over the Christmas period and yes it's good but, performance issues I think. Now it could have been the temperature that was the problem but yeah, still good. Oh! And I don't like the one scent so, for me to like this? It's gorgeous.

I have tested this one, it's royal night + rose, it's a nice fragrance but for me at least once you try oud rose fragrances from areej le dore/bortnikoff/ensar oud , you can't really go back...
Well, you can't compare this to them. LOL. And most of my followers do not even know Areej Le Dore or the others! ;)
I actually own Russian Musk from Areej! And I love it!
@@ThePerfumeGuy you should check out Baikal Gris and Kohinoor from their new line, you should also check out vetiver nocturne by bortnikoff and ensar oud eo number 1 pure parfum,. I can guarantee you are going to love them

You are my favorite reviewer on YT, but this is one of those ones where your taste for more feminine leaning floral frags differs from mine and I have to factor that in :). I have the same feeling for Lyric Man for instance, I simply can’t wear that and gave it to my gf.

I hope to see your opinion on this comparative question.
They are hundreds of miles apart. Too different. :)

Luminous Night, Royal Night, and Mysterious night in that order for me. Guaranteed to make you smell like the Dubai Airport. Mysterious night for 75$ on eBay is a steal for its complexity. Didn’t appreciate it until the dry down, Rose settled and didn’t overpower the spice.
Would you say this is unisex?
I have it and it’s a pretty dark smell but as a woman I’ve gotten many compliments on it and the fragrance changes throughout the wear. If you want to make it more feminine, you can layer some rose perfume or something more floral to lift the heaviness! When I bought this in Athens, the seller said it’s unisex.

Been watching u're amazing videos for a while. But I've been letdown with this choice of yours. The fragrance is just ok. I do agree with you that it is better than the original The One...but it didn't feel "sophisticated"
...maybe I am partial to Chanel or Tom Ford fragrances cause I feel they are smooth. The biggest difference between D&G and Chanel or Tom Ford is like cheap hard liquor and smooth scotch.

How is it different from Smoked Oud from Vince Camuto?
So so different. This goes into a Black Aoud direction. Smoked Oud is more gourmandish to me! :)
