Thats bkz when he became captain we were number 2 in test..he left only after India became 8 th in test..He has the 2nd heighest number of test losses 2nd only to Mr Pataudi. The diffrence is under Pataudi India became a better team and under Dhoni the opposite. After virat took over within 1.5 years India was punching above its weight , Dhoni didnt do anyting good to carry on the legacy/baton he was handed over. Hence as a shrewd man he ignores his legacy, real test cricket fan should do the same.

Steve Waugh, Ponting, Michael clarke, Aaron Finch and now Pat Cummins won ICC trophies for Australia. Everytime different captain won it for them because they believe in team not individual superstar worship. Every team member played as a team for winning but in India players play as individuals and hence cant win you ICC trophy and then fans do Dhoni Dhoni because they care more about some specific player than their team winning the trophy. Its more about superstar worshipping in India than winning trophies. Dhoni was legend of the game but Indian fans superstar worship culture wont take them to anywhere.

वो ये भी कहते हैं की मैच पूरी टीम जीतती है लेकिन ट्रॉफी लेने केवल कप्तान ही क्यों जाता है।
लेकिन ये हमारे प्यारे गौतम गंभीर कभी भी धोनी को नीचा दिखाने के लिए कोई कसर नहीं छोड़ते हैं।
कभी अपने कुत्ते का नाम ओरियो रख देते हैं तो कभी स्टेटमेंट्स देते हैं की एक छक्के ने विश्वकप नही जिताया था।
ऐसा लगता है जैसे धोनी ने केवल एक ही छक्का मारा था।
इस बंदे को जब मैने 97 रनो की पारी खेलते हुए बचपन में देखा था जब इन्होंने वो dive लगाके रन कंप्लीट किया था तो मैं इनका सम्मान करने लगा था और जब ये 97 रन बनाके आऊट हो गए थे तब दुःख भी हुआ था की इनका 100 रन होना चाहिए था ये सोचकर।
लेकिन मैं जैसे जैसे इनका कमेंट सुनता रहा तब से लेकर अब तक ना तो अब इनके प्रति वो सम्मान कही खो सा गया मेरे हृदय से।
एक वो बंदा (MS Dhoni)है जिसने कभी भी कभी भी किसी के खिलाफ कोई कमेंट नहीं किया, ना किसी को नीचा दिखाया ना कभी अपने 91* रनो का गुणगान किया।
शायद यही वो कारण है कि लोग माही को इतना पसंद करते हैं की लोग उनकी एक झलक पाते ही पागलों की तरह चिल्लाने लग जाते हैं।
और एक ये हैं जो हमेशा meme pages में कॉन्ट्रोवर्सी में दिखाई देते हैं।
कभी Virat Kohli से झगड़ लेंगे कभी किसी के ऊपर कमेंट करना स्टार्ट कर देंगे।

Always Credit goes to MSD because no any others Captains did so much in ICC Tournament as compared with MS. For example you see Australia, Every captain have won a trophy while they lead their team. Yaa under MS we won all 3 Trophies in 9 years, but after that no any captain impressed as much as MS. But the point is when our team loose any match then our people targeting respective Captain jab ki unko all XI ko study karna chahiye tha.

MSD is one of greatest captains in world cricket because of match reading, plan execution, balling changes, batting changes and field placing. Planning is easy but execution is difficult but MSD excels in it. Of course you need a good team but captain is not picking the team, he is reading the game and executing the plan on the ground. And entire country credits every one in the team but captain is a captain, he has many more additional responsibilities than just batting or balling….. Hope it’s clear for Gauti…

No that's not the case always. If you observe Dhoni after losing a match he will always cleverly point out to poor performance of other batsmen or bowlers.

I have one simple thing to say to finish off this matter.
Yuvi, Viru, Sachin, Gauti etc were there during 2003 ODI WC and 2007 WC (Gauti only @ 2007 WC), and yet we were unable to win any tournament prior to 2007 T20 WC. Speaks the volume about the importance of captain. Someone's priciple can be anything, someone's principle orders them to treat other people as slave, but this can not be justified.
On the other hand, having good players (who can perform under pressure) are equally important, as one can not execute their plans without right arsenal.
So both are important. 😊😊😊

I will give honest opinion a captain plays a very important role in cricket many things whether it's field placement bowling changes or even even a batting order though u got to have a good team but the right execution from all of them is what a captain s role .Dhoni was a good captain but after 2011 i couldn see him backing some senior player like harbhajan Gambhir yuvraj these all players definitely deserved to play one more world cup atleast whatever be their form on this part only I blame Dhoni no offence to his captaincy though

As far as credit to captain is considered, gautam should understand that it was dada who backed most of the players at their bad times. Dada is the pioneer of a completely different & aggressive Indian team who's main motto was to win games whether in India or overseas. This formed the name as TEAM INDIA. The legacy was carried out much more successfully by MS then Virat & now Rohit. Yes it's bcoz of each players contribution to win a match whatever the format may be. But putting the inspiration in players mind that we have to win each & every match comes from captains words. Dada initiated it & even Sachin also agreed with it. Dhoni has a supernatural cricketing mind, every body has to accept this. Virat & Rohit hv different ways motivating players & that should not be compared to MS DHONI. But this man is having 200% jealousy towards dhoni, that's why he is repeatedly saying this in media. As far as 2 world cups India won under dhoni's captaincy, yuvi played the pivotal role more than anybody else. Then when yuvi has nothing against MS, Why this fellow is crying always. A captain has to think about the performance of the team, and if he played with those players for two three years more we wouldn't have got players like Ashwin, jadeja, Shikhar, Rohit, and most people talk about spoiling yuvi's career. It was only 2019 world cup that he hasn't played, other than that he was part of 2012, 2014, 2016, 2017 and in these world cup's and champion trophies it was dhoni who backed him..
Buddy you should listen to yuvi and harbhajan's interview even they have exactly same views...they don't point overvaluation of someone and undervaluation of someone as strongly as gambhir do but they still resonate with same thoughts....I love dada, mahi, virat and rohit and sachin...I feel now its not as big of a problem we see shami bumrah rohit virat all getting credits a lot more then back in 2011....when gambhir, yuvraj, harbhajan were not given even half of the appreciation and credit for world cup win...its just how i feel...but on a positive note today its a lot better, all the team members are given lot of media coverage and credit for their deeds...somewhere gambhir should be given a little credit for this awareness regarding credit to "team" and not just "individual" that played a vital part in today's focus on whole team and not just captain....cheers.
