I’m a decorative functional planner that’s more on the function less on the decor. The decor makes me happy and inspires me to use my planner but I need a lot of space too and I like the look of balanced minimal decor too.
I hadn’t seen this sticker book. I like it! Definitely need to pick it up.
I was thinking about your work planner and the fact that you are trying to focus on work-life balance and trying not to work on the weekends. And had an idea 💡 what if you took the Saturday and Sunday boxes and covered the date with a small box sticker and used one for videos to film and one for videos to edit. That would give you more space for notes etc on the left and would give them designated spots each week. And it would help push you to keep a M-F work schedule. And if you had to work a weekend bc of a launch or something you could add that work in a box sticker to designated but the goal would be no S&S work
I really like this idea. Just enough colour to make me want to work in my planner but not take over the page that I have no room to actually plan. Thanks so much.

I love what you did with the stripes! I was using a Dashboard layout and I’m on social media but I’m not big at all so I felt like it was too much planner for me. I’m glad I tried it for a year though!

Don't you just want to talk to her? I was thinking that with the stripe page. That book begs to be deconstructed so it is more useful. It should be sold as a fan book instead of the usual binding. (To fan out sheets from one another.)

I use a mini dashboard for work and I also need a lot of writing room so I keep the decor simple. I usually decorate the left hand page but keep the right hand page at a minimum!
I just decided to get dashboard for work (after a week I saw vertical was not gonna work) it's helpful to see how you use yours. Dashboard just makes so much sense for work

I love how it turned out. Perfect splash of color and functional. I’m testing out a mini dashboard for a work planner. It’s a bit difficult for me to decorate and still have room to write. I use a classic vertical for a catch all and that’s where all the decorating magic happens lol This has inspired me to give my mini some color.

I use Trello for social media because I do a lot of moving around of what gets posted when and it updates in my iPhone. That said, I do use a real paper planner to note when I have to get all the various bitses done
I love this-- my work planner is a dashboard and has to be functional--- I put a lot in some of the days. So while I have creative ones at home, do work I have to be able to use most of the writing space on the days-- which for me means no boxes, no huge spreads. I don't use the left side as much, but still use it and want it to look cute 😃

Thank you for sharing your creativity with us! And omg I can TOTALLY empathize with you on the noisy upstairs neighbors situation. This same thing happened to us a week after we brought our newborn home, drove me CRAZY 😵💫😵💫 We eventually nicely said something and they were receptive, they didn’t realize how loud it was and things improved a bit. Hope things quiet down for you too once they settle in! 😊
Plan With Ilysse has a great printable monthly habit tracker in her Etsy shop. I think it has 7 or 8 categories as opposed to the longer list you were keeping, but it might be easier to start a little smaller (or just use a couple sheets). ❤
