    Ingredients (Makes about 15 servings)
    170g Fat Free Greek Yogurt
    105g Low Fat Mayo
    80g Low-fat Buttermilk
    2.5g Fresh Parsley
    30g Franks Red Hot
    3g Fresh Garlic
    6g Onion Powder
    6g Salt
    1/4 tsp Dill Weed
    1/4 tsp Habanero Powder
    1/8 tsp Black Pepper
    1 tsp Dried Chives
    8g Avocado Oil
    .5g Xanthan Gum
    Substitutions:
    Light Mayo (35 cal per serving) - Will add about 10 calories per serving, still great overall macros though
    Dried Parsley
    Cholula or Valentina - Will just add a little bit different of a taste
    3g Garlic Powder
    6g Dried Minced Onions
    2g Fresh Dill
    1 stalk fresh chives (I have made several attempts without chives at all and the recipe is still very good. This is just another boost in flavor)
    Any flavorless oil
    PLEASE NOTE: I have had the original test recipe in the fridge for more than three weeks. I inspected and tried it today and it is still good. HOWEVER, this recipe is made with fresh dairy ingredients so I would advise trying to use it in the first 2-3 weeks you make it or less. That shouldn’t be a problem though because this goes perfect on EVERYTHING.

    I just tried this recipe today. I used all ingredients except the two following: I used Heinz light mayo instead of low fat version and used 1/4 tsp of cayenne pepper powder instead of the habanero powder. calories per serving was 33. IMO it was a 10 out of 10. I will be making this regularly.
    This is such an underated channel.

  • @Loanarn
    @Loanarn 2 года назад +3

    Xanthan Gum is in everything as thickener but also as an emulsifier. Thats fancy talk for the agent that lets you combine oil and water. Without it the oil and water separate and your sauce "breaks".

    • @Exercise4CheatMeals
      @Exercise4CheatMeals  2 года назад +1

      Pretty much how I figured it to be, but dont want to talk about it like I know it. I just like to try stuff and if it works, I go with it. Thank you for the feedback. Makes sense why my sauce was turning into water consistency at first.

    I like to make sauces with a base of blended soaked cashew and water (about ½c cashews to 1c water), super simple and eliminates the need for oil and xanthan gum since cashew cream doesn't separate and has its own fat; I may just drop the yogurt/mayo/buttermilk and throw your spice blend in my cashew base! Perfect use for the Garlic Buffalo Frank's Red Hot I just got.

    Amazing sauce, thanks for the recipe! Quick side note, I DO NOT recommend the sauce bottles that are linked in the description. The sauce is too thick to pour out of the tip. I also used the same bottle for the garlic butter that goes with the Domino’s cheesy bread. The grated Parmesan is too thick, stopping the oil from dispensing. They will be great bottles for thin liquids, I’m sure I’ll use them at some point.

    3:04 xantham gum is a stabiliser, like modified cornstarch. 0.5g is perfectly fine in so much sauce. Problems start when you are volume obsessed and you add 5g of it so you can make a gallon of pseudo ice cream. Then it becomes a laxative and will absolutely destroy your digestive system

    3g of fresh garlic to 3g of garlic powder. 3g of garlic powder would be about 2 tsp which would be equivalent to 16 cloves of garlic.

    Is there even something like high fat buttermilk? They are basically all 1.5g/100g here. Also I see Hellmann's has different mayos in USA. Here in EU you have normal one, 700+ kcal per 100g, light one 280kcals/100g, I use this for salads, burgers, dressings, and there's something called Lighter Than Light which is only 68kcal per 100g, with like 2-3g of fat per 100g, so in the USA would be labeled "fat free"
