Well now you were even closer to me!! LOL. I'm only about 10-15 minutes from Lincolnton and, small world, I actually work for Gaston College, but I work at our main campus in Dallas. Lincolnton is a nice little town once you've been there for a little while but some of these small towns do seem to struggle with welcoming outsiders. And, just as an FYI, the county and town were actually named after Benjamin Lincoln, a Revolutionary War General. Thanks for sharing your adventures. It would have been a fun place to do a drone tour. :)
