  • In this video, I show you how to create an amazing fluid art painting using a Rainbow Colors while experimenting with a side layering technique. This is a fun and easy acrylic pouring technique that anyone can try. Fluid art is a great way to express your creativity and make stunning abstract paintings. Watch the video and follow along with me as I demonstrate this fun technique.
    This is my version of this style of painting, using quinacridone magenta(Liquitex), medium magenta(Liquitex), fluorescent pink(Liquitex), neon violet(artist loft), dioxazine purple(Liquitex), light blue violet(Liquitex), primary blue(Liquitex),blue, an fluorescent blue(Liquitex), light blue permanent(Liquitex),cadmium yellow medium hue(Liquitex), primary yellow(Liquitex), lemon yellow(artist loft), alizarin crimson hue permanent(Liquitex), crimson(artist loft), and Cadmium orange hue(Liquitex) as my paint colors. I love how these colors create a vibrant effect on the canvas. You can see how the side layered cups blend perfectly by using these rainbow colors. So give it a try next time you are doing multiple flip cups.
    Materials used:
    Acrylic Paints
    Pouring medium
    Plastic cups
    Stir sticks
    canvas

    Yes... it worked out great. Adding the silicone helped give it more character. I love your enthusiasm for the flip cup. Some people wouldn't understand the love for this type of art unless they tried it. Keep on challenging yourself, and make us say WOW!

      Thank you Judy❤️I am glad someone the beauty of the flip cup, I really do love to challenge myself…. Wait til you see the painting on Monday for the bday collab….. it’s the elements water and fire in rock. All using flip cups… the rock/marble flip cup have no silicone and the Fire and Water have silicone…. It’s beautiful.🥰

    WOW Michael!! This is probably one of my absolute favorites you've ever done. I love the colors and the separation, such a great rainbow painting. Thanks for the shout out my friend!! 😁🥰

      Omg Cassie I love this painting so much, you are right the separation is so good in this one. Thank you ❤️

    Fabulous! I use 99 percent rainbow palettes, love the “blended separation”. My goal has been keeping crisper cells, would like to try this and add some flow extender. I hate it when everything goes squiggle lines which is what mine would do 😂. Well done!

    I appreciate the careful explanations of colors, sequences, combinations, and pouring methods. How are your paint fluidities achieved, and how much silicone is added? To all colors??

    • @michaelyacovelli1763
      @michaelyacovelli1763  7 месяцев назад

      Thank you Pepper, my pouring medium is 70/30 Floetrol/water then 2/1 pouring medium to paint…. Also each color had one drop of silicone.

    You just keep getting better. I love this. Absolutely love the green and yellow edges surrounding the other colours. Amazing result. BTW I wonder who gives some of those colours the crazy names? Obviously some kind of sadist ;-)

    • @michaelyacovelli1763
      @michaelyacovelli1763  7 месяцев назад

      Thank you Paul, yeah some of the names are just ridiculous….. I have a green that I won’t use just because I will just destroy saying the name.

    Way talking in the beginning and not enough of a tutorial. As a beginner I have no clue what it is that you’re doing. I don’t understand the point of all the colors lined up and going through the color names.

    • @michaelyacovelli1763
      @michaelyacovelli1763  7 месяцев назад +2

      Thank you Jennifer for the feed back… first I was running this as more of an experiment than a tutorial. I live test theories sometime… and you don’t find it nice to see the colors organized… I find it harder to follow especially as a beginner when someone is just bringing in random colors and not telling you what they are. In the description I even give you the brands. If you have any questions feel free to ask as I love helping out beginners.

      I think you explain it perfectly and I love that you always tell the colors. Great Job Michael. You always use such beautiful color combinations. Love it. Way to go my friend. ❤❤❤

    Beuatiful work. Just too much oh oh oh throughout the whole video Michael. Sorry for negative comment, but this made me not to whatch any of your other videos.

      Thank you MM…. I welcome the feedback. It’s such a weird split between those who like the talking and those that don’t…. Will keep working on finding that happy medium.

      @@michaelyacovelli1763 Michael, you didn't get my point. I'm not saying you shouldn't talk. That's definitely ok. You just don't have to use "oh" in every second sentence. Nevertheless, these are your videos so you can do whatever you want. Have a nice day!
