  • I bought this in 2019, and it served me well, but started going and finally went.
The Flowtron Bug Zapper comes with an attractant. I never used it, but the light itself works well for me. In this video I share with you how it worked for me to replace it. I used videos I encountered on RUclips also. There are two I specifically used. One was mentioned in the video (Travis Does Firewood). I'll look for them both and work on it.
It's interesting that a simple task like this seems so hard when you bury it in the device. Change the flourescent (florescent) light bulb and the starter.
Also, I would like to note that one of the things I never thought would happen in California - The appearance of mosquitoes - has been happening for some years now. Sadly.

Great video. Very helpful regarding the igniter and the ability to change it. Nice of Flowtron to provide it.

Why do you need to change the bulb if it lights but doesn't zap? I thought it's just to attract the insects but i read everywhere the bulb must be replaced even if it comes on? Ty

you can change the bulbs through the bottom, so you dont have to take it apart for the bulb.
