Who the heck gave thumbs down? I have words for you! MOVE ALONG!! It is so immature. I have never given a thumbs down to anyone. If I don't like what I see..... I stop watching. I'm so sick of jealous HATERS! Great job Julie! Loved all the projects.
Ducks are awesome, the White pitcher is upgraded. But as a shabby chic collector, the yellow one w the roses, well that broke my heart. A rare gem worth a bundle before painting it. Sorry.
I have a chalk paint recipe I would like to share. It covers everything in one to two coats typically. I buy sample latex paint because it goes a long way and you get the custom color you want. First take a container and put 1/3 cup plaster of Paris, one third cup water, mix well. Add the entire contents of the sample paint, approximately 8 oz. Mix well. You now have chalk paint. I absolutely love using this mix. And again remember it goes a long long way. Also great benefit it dries within minutes. Hope this is useful to someone.😊
I just started working 2 days a week at a flea market where I am a merchant for Fusion. These flip videos are making my brain explode. So many options.
I love that you are so original in what you make. I love the white wax over the spring colors and terracotta. I was amazed by how the silver tray was transformed when you painted it in gray. It is so much fun to see your ideas. The Very best was when you used the curved chair back for the handle. So original.
The watered down antiquing wax looks so good on the textured paint. It doesn’t look dirty as full strength wax sometimes does. The picture basins turned out amazing ❤️❤️❤️
I trust you Julie, because everything I've seen you do has been beautiful. You have inspired me to paint and fix up everything I can find. Thanks for sharing and your videos with all your projects 😊 😀
Genius.....always amazed by your creativity and ability to see the finished product. My husband always cringes when I say it will be beautiful painted.😁
thanks for going thru the baking soda mix and process on video. I'm a visual person and learning this way is so much easier for me than reading a formula. great job!
You're doing a good job explaining about paints, waxes, clear sprays, stamps/stencils, glues, dies, etc. & keeping us updated on products that are out in the marketplace nowadays & how to combine things to get a result that is different . . . like making something look as if it is cement when it isn't. Back in the day when I was updating stuff for my home & for the yard sale . . . no duct tape, no painter's tape, only masking tape, no glue sticks only Elmer's Glue! You get the idea. Thank you for a great video.
Those little pots with the Lavender and how you frosted them with white paint AND THE CRATE YOU MADE,......LOVE IT! Love, Love, Love your crates you make !! But love the pitchers, the bottle and tray....LOL!!! AND DUCKS !!! 🦆🦆 You get the picture....LOVE EVERYTHING YOU CREATE !!!
Great ideas! I saw someone who used the baking soda techniques first using a darker color and a thinner baking soda mixture then with a lighter and thicker mixture. Then she used citric acid mixed with water and dapped this all over. Stone! Beautiful!
I liked and shared it to my face book Julie, I think you are so talented and your heart is so sweet to share with all the ladies. Thanks for being you.
I've already been using some textured paint on some items and just love it! I had a ceramic piece that my grandmother had painted, but over the years it had chipped. The texture in the paint helped hide those and made a basically unusable piece into something I can bring out and use with fond memories.
MAN!!!!! I should have KEPT all my moms' ducks!!!She passed away in 2000, and at that time I had no room for extra stuff. She had so many that my sister and I didn't want them!!! My mom had them on her LIVING ROOM FLOOR in front of the TV!!!! And she had a lot of the milk pieces. I should have kept them all. You just gave me some ideas for them!! I will have to look for some this summer!!!! Thanks, Julie!!!!
LOVED them all. But the green pot and roses was the best and most surprising, because I just couldn't see that poor thing being revived. I think the twine was the cherry on top. 😄
Amazing! I loved the ducks or geese or whatever! Those were beautiful!
Thanks so much for showing how to do the white wax technique - much appreciated! Your projects look great.

Great job Julie! Loved all the projects.
I ain't worried about haters

Connie, thanks for sharing this. Can't wait to give it a whirl.
Thanks for sharing! Do you have to use latex or can your use a different type of paint? I'm allergic to latex.
