- A little something I did for anyone's eyes. Originally I was doing these for high scores, most of these were on the top 10 leaderboards at the time but if they were moved down I'm glad to hear it. It's actually easier than it looks and I am willing to give some tips below:
The Hunter is simply a question of well-timed evasions. I tried not to focus too much on his head, it makes the fight simply too easy/fast and removes points.
The Succubus is a joke. Just be careful for her earth spikes and her scream and you're good to go. Her horizontal swipes can be easily used to provide demon status, which increases damage and points, and if you avoid the headspot you can rake up points better.
Bob Bardross is not difficult but his minions are. You can fight up to 8 of them at the same time and their shockwave attack is difficult to keep track of. They gave me trouble. At the beginning of the bossfight, you can hit him without damaging him, which gives you points. I had to redo the fight multiple times because I kept busting the time limit and realised that at 112000 it was good enough.
Mundus' Spawn is I believe bugged. If I am wrong, please notify me and I could try to beat it anyway (Someone did say I had to restart the mission altogether, but as this was a few months after the video I gave up. Still, props to your awesome face for the help).
Mundus himself is more about being lucky than anything else. Sometimes he will hit you and other times he won't. That's why I didn't reflect his spheres, I already fought him a couple of times without success and I got tired of him.
And finally, Vergil. He is not that difficult but I wanted to showoff a bit. And I did. And I had to fight him about 91 times and it was ridiculous.

The way they made Vergil's attacks look like the ones in Dmc 5 are so similar even his famous Judgement Cut
This game come out first and Itsuno take some inspiration from this game for dmc5
maybe when i played this game as a kid i wasn’t old enough to realize what was actually going on in the story, but honestly being older it seems like this game’s story was very ahead of it’s time. Not so much the “devil may cry” aspect (dante, vergil, sparda??? can’t really remember if he is mentioned at all it’s been so long) , just the idea of rich people controlling the rest of the population feels like it would’ve done a lot better in 2020/2021 also this game is so good
Yea Sparda and Eva are still an important part of the game. Mundus killed them and had Dantes memory wiped until Vergil restored it, which is when he decided to help. They're also who he gets his angel and demon weapons and ophions from since his mother's an angel instead of human in this universe
If you want to parry Mundus' left hand fireball, use prop exactly at the same time he shoots it. At least that's the timing I remember.
this will never be a devil may cry game to me, but gotta admit it's unique on its own with boss battles as well as gameplay

is it possible that you get awarded for action on DMD which are not awarded on DH? because I never get points for 5 or 10 hit combo neither for using grab on enemies. and dude seriously you own their asses. just a joy to watch ya! !!
There's special conditions for these, and I totally forgot how it works. I think if you switch weapons too fast, or use guns for too long, or use the same weapon for too long the combo stops. Honestly I always prefered the DMC3 and 4 combo meters. They only penalize repetition, and they allow you to ''play'' with your ''food''.

Cosworth_Galaxy Protip, it's more about dodging well and less about pulling combos out of my voidzone. Knowing enemy attacks is half the magic.

I think it makes it easier to take no damage when your lifebar is full, if you were one hit from defeat it would make it harder to concentrate
When you go for no damage every hit is defeat. Your logic makes little sense. I know what you mean but you have the same pressure when you getting close to the win.

Well. To be honest I also own the Bosses on DMC3, so I really cannot tell. I do know that at the very least, DMC3 requires preparation. I'm the kinda guy who thinks Dark Souls is easy.
Yeah you got a point there. After a few runs through DMC3 you get a hold of the bosses and they aren't so tough. Still, you made this look easy even if it's on DMD
I did practice. Vergil by himself is easy (what a travesty to say) but countering all of his moves like I did took a day or two to perfect. I redid the fight a few times because I dodged too much, or took damage trying to counter.
You should see my Nevan Run of DMC3, I'm sure you'd like it. I'm trying to speedrun the game with nothing but Nevan as well, I time right under 3 hours last time I did it. In fact, just go check the whole DMC playlist I got, blast yourself off to funzone while you're at it. Thanks for watching :D

Just noticed that Dante's character portrait gets red, blue and white eyes depending on which weapons he used. Red being for demon, Blue being for """"angel"""" and white for Rebellion

You can parry almost anything. Even the huge bombs Mundus hurls at you at the very end. I've done three in a row
This game honestly doesn't look that bad, Dante sucks but I feel like if this just wasn't a devil may cry game it wouldn't have gotten bashed so hard

That's EXACTLY why the game was bashed on. It was honestly entertaining enough to enjoy multiple playthroughs, it's not like playing it was painful or whatever. But they shat, and I mean DEFECATED all over the lore and fandom and they don't deserve any love.

yep, CAPCOM should have had Ninja Theory change the lore and names abit, instead of rebooting the already rising popular DMC to DmC, like wtf. I enjoyed the game but i wanted the more of the previous version. The fans of the previous version of Devil May Cry didn't like the fact that that it's gone, and changed to this. That's whr most of the criticism came from. I felt cheated myself when i first saw the trailer. But I enjoyed this game, just hate the feeling that the old version might be gone.

Thanks man! I took a couple of hours memorizing the timings. It's too bad I couldn't do it with his doppelganger on, because then if you parry the first one, his double will get you. Every time. I just wanted to destroy him once and for all. I prefer DMC3 Vergil by far. Speaking of, you should check my playlists, there's one with hundreds of DMC Videos.

Ryan Liu well Ninja Theory are one of the best HnK games devolpers, they made a game called Heavenly Sword one of the best games on the PS3.

The end fight made me laugh with how easy it was. Also, the irony is that if you play with Virgil in the DLC he would be way stronger with a full arsenal and abilities.
In my opinion DmC is actually pretty damn good, and I've played all the DMC games lol.
I beated DMC 1,2,3, and 4. Don't have 5. Waiting for gears 5 cause I can play it 4 days early :D

Yeah, I succeeded in taking no damage against him a first time, but realized Dante was flying all around the place. And I didn't like that. So I did it again, but this time without moving too much and deflecting nearly all of his attacks. You can still see me panicking at some points and dodging.
If only vergil DT in the dlc also changed the color of his coat

This DMC is not a challenge, the boss fights are so easy, Dante Must Die and hell and hell was easy too for me. If you want a real challenge go play DMC 3 DMD. Good luck.

3, 5 and the Anime all used British and Serbian architecture for inspiration. Dante and Vergil are British, and Nero is half Italian, because Fortuna is literally just the DMC equivalent of Sicily. I mean look at the names of the Fortuna characters. Credo, Agnus, Nero, Sanctus.

I'm a true DMC fan I've played them all countless times and beat them all on my first play (DMD Mode of course)
1-4 the original is great and holds a place in the hearts of us all who knew the original characters but in all honesty (my opinion)
DmC did it a little better, it took a more realistic approach as realistic as you can get with the smooth cool comedy of Dante and his friends 😂 (and his talking weapons 😂)
DmC is to bring new people in but that doesn't make it shitty I loved the new nephaelm approach the new upgraded rebellion that morphs into demonic and angelic weaponry, I loved seeing a new approach for Dante and Vergil's relationship which made it shocking and hard to fight him in the end, Kate was slightly annoying 😂 but that's ok

This was on pc. Its mostly the same machine I still have, its dated but it serves me well. I have consoles too. Just go with what you prefer, real gamers don't really care about which, although Steam on PC treats me very well as a platform.

Nah m8 Hakaishi DMC1 is incomparably way more brutally difficult than DMC3. DMC3 the second easiest in the series in my opinion. DMC2, DMC3, DmC DMC, DMC4, then DMC1.

I like gameplay of this game, but to be honest this Dante not even close to killing machine, which Dante in dmc 4 was. This Dante so slow compare to original, during gameplay.
