I strongly believe that India should take on the role of a unifying leader in the region, similar to how Germany functions within the European Union. India could lead by fostering collaboration and mutual respect with its neighbors, acting as a guide and partner rather than a dominating force. By working together, we can build a stronger, more cohesive region, free from the influence of Western hegemony.
With due respect to Shyam Saran, he completely failed to recognize the India-Bangladesh Situation. And seeing him talk, I can see why India's foreign policy is failing so hard. They have no clue about what the neighboring countries are capable of doing. India is a big country, and most Indians think because of that, all the neighbors will say, "Yes, sir" to India 24*7. This pride will never make India the USA to South Asia. In power, progress, and economy does India can cross a very small country, Isreal? So, being a big country will contribute to "Zero" to India's Ego, economy, power, and progress. Make my word. When a demodectic Country is saying and keeps saying an out-crusted Autocratic person is their friend, that itself is so problematic. I would Like you to consider a scenario, Any south Asian country is saying Al-Kaida or something like that is their friend." How you will see this? When India says an autocrat, mass killer Hasina is their friend and they will continue hosting her in their country, we Bangladeshi see that is a statement that will make most of the Bangladeshi continue "Disliking" India.
Soon you will realise truth, Maldives did same, it took less then a year to fall in line, for Bangladesh it would not more then 2 years, but in this process you will lose so much .
@@ansumanchauhan 😂😂😂 Exactly that's all I was talking about. "Ego". India and most Indians have a big ego that will never make India the USA to the south Asia. You proved me right again. Thanks for that. Just one suggestion as a well-wisher, Don't consider all the Nations are same .
You’re just asserting things without any reasons. Indian rate of growth is independent of neighbor relations; and that my friend is the sole determinant of power in long term .
@@ansumanchauhan Thanks but no need. You might think RUclips is the real world, but unfortunately, I don't. I prefer the real world to fight. But, If the day comes, please be happy. Even then we will try to continue fighting for our country's future in the real world.
Unfortunately, these old age people have fixed ideas based on their old experiences but the present situation requires fresh ideas, of course experience matters too. For me typical example is US President Biden, who has animosity have with the USSR/Russia since old times.
Thank you guys for boldly talking
Let’s not blame each other

All are due to India
How was India's relationship with neighbors during Saran sb time?
