Genius, my normal go to is clingfilm then whatever on top of that and roll it in. The clingfilm can be pulled off when dry or burned if stuck, but love your idea. Thanks

how long do you wait to roll the cement ?

I think this was around 4 hours but it depends on the mix and conditions. Best to keep trying, too early and the roller picks up the cement.
