This is a example of a “flat earther” trying to explaine perspective to an “anti-flat earther” The people do get it make no mistake, That’s why they are coming to the correct understanding that the earth is not what they have been lead to believe. There is no stoping it now. The earth is objectively and observably a level plane, as evidenced by basic physics and natural laws. We are seeing the cabalistic globe religion is in its death throws. 🙏🏻🌍🙏🏻 ⚰️
Coolostomy. Well, you like me have only ever personally experience the earth as a level plane as is obvious and observable and scientifically proven by the natural physics of water (fluid mechanics) and the idea of a pressure gradient next to a vacuum without a barrier is in violation of the second law of thermodynamics so “outer space” is nonsense. You need a religious belief to make the earth a globe/spherical/oblate 🙏🏻🌍🙏🏻
Coolostomy. Oh, so you are going to presuppose that you are on a globe to prove to yourself you are on a globe, affirm the consequent some fallacious reasoning. Good luck with that 🙏🏻🌍🙏🏻

This makes me think of that Episode of Father Ted when he's trying to explain that the Cows aren't tiny, they are just far away. Basically the same principle 😂
While it was Irish, it was made by a British Company and shot in the UK. I think that Irish / UK humour overlap, and can be said to run into each other, as you can see by the Irish comics on the UK circuit and in UK sitcoms. Its all part of the mix which is a good thing.
Priceless Irish Humour - though this TV show was forbidden on Irish TV (RTE) at the time, at which point countless TV antennas sprouted, pointed towards U.K. (just for this show). So I was told by an Irish citizen. Bit like pirate / border-busting. Life itself as a comedy!
To be fair, he was just repeating the 2 words without explaining why. I would move the toy cow and explain why things look small when they're far away.
you know, I was at a nuclear testing site for tsar bomba and I had to listen to the sound of the explosion with a line of fifteen bullhorns right next to my ear but at least it wasn't as loud as that fucking laugh track
NOT a "laughter track," at all, so back-off with the sarcasm, please! The Father Ted interiors were recorded in front of a LIVE AUDIENCE at the (then) London Studios on the South Bank of the Thames. The building is dated, but it is still there.. between the IBM building and The National Theatre. In truth, I am surprised that anyone would think the laughter on this clip was faked. When my family and I saw this for the first time, we laughed in exactly the same *way* as the audience in the studio.. ... leading me to believe this is a first take scene, completely fresh for that audience too.
The toys are small in reality and the ones outside also appear equally small. However, the ones outside are actually big but just appear small because they are far away (Ted's trying to explain perspective to Dougal). Sorry, if that was awkward phrasing.
I showed this to my grandmother who grew up Irish Catholic...she was on the floor dying of laughter.
nice to hear she only grew up that way and evidently matured into a Dutch Protestant
One of my favourite things about this show is that Dougal reveals he doesn't believe in God and doubts the Faith. Dougal is an idiot.
@@jasmadams so he is an idiot because he doesn't believe in grown up fairy tales?
