Every time I see Audrey Hepburn , I feel like I'm in the presence of royalty , she is a very , very classy lady , And a great human being... She was so loved by so many people, May she rest in peace....❤
Audrey Hepburn's name appears several times in the dictionary, as descriptions for: elegance, class, beauty, dignity, poise, grace, humility, charm...the list goes on and on. I'm in tears watching this. She's always been my favourite female icon and she reminds me of a better time. Her movies always lift my spirits. She was a gift to the world.
fully agree 🌠 and such a joy to see her again with the most dignified, noble + ruggedly beautifully handsome Grégory Peck 🌠 the most elegant pair on screen
She died too young. What a class act she was. Had a very cheeky side to her but you can see the admiration her co stars had for her. Thank you for posting.
What an absolute icon this woman was - style, charm, grace, talent, beauty, modesty and dignity. Little wonder she still sits at the top, or near in most people's lists of favourite movie actresses.
We get so used to stars owning the stage and the spotlight with their swagger, an air of pride, and the pure force of their presence. We forget that a rare few can own the stage, and the spotlight with their humility, and gentle nature and simple grace. Its not complicated what she does here. She reminds us that sincere modesty can be incredibly intoxicating.
She is truly amazing! No wonder that she was a muse for Hubert Givenchy. Audrey had the inborn class, dignity and style, which could not be obtained with any acting coaching. I adore her. Rest in peace, beautiful Lady.
Oh, just watching the Cecil.B. award, it made me cry. The part in Breakfast at Tiffany's, where she shoved her beloved Cat out in the rain and drove off, you knew she didn't want that, but when she went back calling and crying for him has always reminded me of rejection, unloved. It was just a movie, but for me and even for Audrey in her childhood years of being starved, must have cried inside if not out watching her movie in that scene with Cat.
O, I do love her so. She had dignity and compassion and an inner beauty that went far beyond her movie persona. She had a superb kind of class that is not seen in this world of the Kardashias and the soccerstar wives. It's about beeing decent as well as elegant and beautifu and in a natural way. I am proud to say she was part Dutch and that in the town she lived in during the second world war the square in front of the major theatre is now called the Audrey Hepburn square. I think she would have been very proud of that.
They do not make Hollywood personalities with such class like this anymore!!!!! I am happy and grateful to have been able to enjoy her many wonderful performances.. Times have changed and I do not believe for the better, how sad..the current generation has no idea of the genuine class of AudreyHepburns time on the screen.....
There are still Hollywood stars who have grace, beauty, and class like Dame Julie Andrews for example. And men who are true gentlemen still exist like Dick Van Dyke, for example.
fully agree 🌠 and such a joy to see Audrey again with the most dignified, noble + ruggedly beautifully handsome Grégory Peck 🌠 they were the most elegant onscreen pair ever
Utterly and effortlessly charming, gracious and a glorious example of humanity. She did more as an ambassador than even her performances on screen. What a glorious creature!
The Great, Exquisite, Beautiful, Talented, LUMINOUS Audrey Hepburn! Her talents as a movie star were nearly eclipsed by her remarkable gifts as a Human Being! Bless You, Dear Audrey for illuminating the World with your Special Radiance, As long as Movies Exist you will Bless Us with your Glow!
beautiful woman....always beautiful even in her old age...an epitome of beauty...natural...no knife...no bottocs...no surgery....confident..happy and satisfied ....this is the woman i will always admire...
I consider myself beer lucky to have been born before the internet, Facebook and Instagram took over. When there were 7 channels and no cable. It allowed me the opportunity to see some of these great movies and over the years I've come to appreciate what great talent the Golden age of Hollywood contained. Timeless talent, stars with Grace class and respect. How the world needs more of them right now.
That was the best, Thank You Speech, I have ever heard. It only stands to reason that it was Audrey Hepburn, who delivered it! Oh, how we still love and miss you...❤️
In China, I saw photos of her everywhere two decades ago. I'm still not sure why. Perhaps it was her petiteness and modesty but everywhere her grace and elegance were admired. She was an exquisite rarity who graced us with her presence with her polish and class despite a hard childhood. How I wish I could have met her if only in a glimpse.
I must admit that I love Audrey!!.- I saw all her movies, read books about her, she is giving me happiness..What a lovely Lady she IS- Forever an angel.
Gone are those days with wind, leaving only memories and thanks to youtube for giving unique opportunity to review these movies and immerse ourselves in those memories. All her movies are jewels in the treasury of films.
The Golden Years Of Hollywood. Liz Taylor,Grace Kelly, Audrey Hepburn, Doris Day, etc etc. Wonderful!! An era to be remembered certainly. Thank you. 6. 2020.
When Audrey was on the screen, you couldn’t look anywhere else. She drew attention without even trying and she certainly didn’t do it via provocative clothing or attention-seeking behaviour. She was elegant, respectful, compassionate… just name a positive adjective and it applied to her. I love how she rattled off the list of her movie costars- a veritable who’s who of mid-Century Hollywood.
pure joy to see Audrey again with the most dignified, noble + ruggedly beautifully handsome Grégory Peck 🌠 they were the most elegant onscreen pair ever
Breakfast at Tiffany's and Audrey as Holly Golightly, the theme song Moon River, as well as all the great main and supporting stars in it, everything in this movie adaptation of Truman Capote's classic novel is pure Hollywood Magic and artistic PERFECTION.
Hollywood reflects the values of socirety. Undoubtedly anything going on their is also happening in NY, New Orleans, Paris, London and Washington DC. I loathe most reality tv but it is no worse than The Dating Game of The Gong Show of an earlier time. Hepburn was one in a million. She had class and elegance like Grace Kelly but survived near starvation and the German occupation as a child. She spent the last year's of her working for UNICEF, an organization that had helped her. There is a reason she remains an icon.
@@jeancoughlin5490 Working for Unicef has definitely nothing to do that she's an icon as she would be anyway, as several others from those eras. Her authentic beauty, class, dignity, elegance, modesty and talent are the reasons for this.
There is no place like home. Thank God for these actors . What a joy to grow up with these great movies it touches my heart every time I turn on a classic. Nothing be now and for a long time has had no talent or class like these people.
No one ever deserved any award more than Audrey. And, the refrigerator scene in Wait Until Dark was the last time I jumped out of my seat in a movie theater.
A true great woman who deserves any award given to her, the greatest award being am angel in heaven still looking over her beloved children.here on.🌎 We miss you always RIP Miss Hepburn.
Audrey Hepburn a fost una dintre cele mai frumoase femei ale secolului trect! Din pacate frumusetea ei s a ofilit prea repede și a durat prea puțin, iar viața ei a fost prea scurtă!
Such grace and beauty.I am particularly glad she mentioned the world's poor and suffering and her work on their behalf.God Bless You Audrey Hepburn, your life was a life well lived.
Robert Wolders 13:36 is subtitled "Audrey's Husband" but they never married; he was a long-term consort. A classically handsome man, he had been married to much-older Merle Oberon until her death. Virtually nothing back then was known about eating disorders such as anorexia, and the press- which Audrey here thanks for being kind- kept alive the notion that Audrey was a hearty eater and naturally thin, but that was not the case. After decades of war with food, Audrey succumbed to abdominal cancer.
I've never heard of anorexia causing cancer but cigarettes do and sadly she was a lifelong smoker. Still she was as close to flawless as anyone I've ever read about.
@@marcuserlandson4690 Well, now you've done it. Incited the "there's no proof cigarettes cause cancer crowd." Remarkably, they're still out there, defending smoking, often posting "My uncle Chester smoked 3 packs a day and lived to 90." Wait and see.
