Can Etotama be an example of how to use CG? The animation is so expression and lively. Tell me how anime is still struggling with CG lol. I doubt Etotama has a budget either since the 2D segments isn't a fluid, so what is the excuse? Also, Etotama season 2 when.
The studio that produced the cgi animation studio shirogumi, have been around the industry for a very long time, like a couple of decades. So maybe experience is the answer to good cg. Studio orange, the studio behind Land of the lustrous and BEASTARS made their first anime as head studio 12 years after its initial founding. And studio gemba's recent anime is a huge improvement over berserk 2016.

Ep 9 -shogi...sounds like chess...its not that deep of a thing no matter how you cut it... *look* the animation was astounding.the art was quite pretty and beautiful! *characters* there were too many characters to truly care about them all in such a short amount of time. they wasted a lot of time which could of been used to build up each character instead of boring jokes,recaps,a meaningless car race and chess!? *plot* the plot was just plain shit on at the end making all of nyaas effort meaningless... *Overall* i would say this is worth a watch despite its flaws it has some great moments *whats wrong with this show?* can gods get sick??? ep7 is a recap episode! seriously no matter how many episodes a series has this is inexcusable! moreover only 6 episodes have passed we already know!!! they brought a human to nyaas shrine...so...why did they not take her there to get her memories back??? They made the chicken memory loss gag so integral to Piyo-tan's character that Shogi was really the only way she could've fought on fair conditions with anyone else.
