Gotta say, well done on the editing to make the insert from The Office have a green tint. Kudos to attention to detail. Also, get your mind out of the gutter KL! 😄
Trinity got to see the sky for the first time before she died. When I saw this in the theater I was disappointed... Now I understand things better, and I think it's beautiful.
I really love the ending...the final battle between Neo and Smith was so epic during my first watching...I had goosebumps...this is how I imagine battle for future of mankind.
The Matrix sequels have been a guilty pleasure of mine in the years I've rewatched them over the year's. I even liked the Matrix Resurrections, but I only saw that one time. I don't know, as I've become an older more cynical person, I appreciate how the hero of the first movie was deconstructed in the following movies as just being another system of control. Fells very accurate to reality
The original Matrix is coming back to theaters in the US on the 19th and the 22nd if you're feeling like making a trip down here. Experience it the way it was meant to be seen.
I loved Hugos performance as Agent Smith from the get go as soon as the mask slips when he interrogates Morpheous and the way he carries himself. I just loved the interaction of Smith and Neo so of course a big fight scene was needed and probably the closets thing to anime that i enjoyed.
One of my favorite fun facts: In the Matrix online game (which was cannon before the 4th movie) Morpheus is mad because the machines have Neo’s body and refuse to give it up. So Morpheus becomes a terrorist in the Matrix causing mayhem, demanding Neo’s body be returned to the humans.
Ahh, I have always loved the Matrix series. Me personally, Revolutions is my second favorite after Matrix 1. Reloaded for me suffers from a lot of middle chapter syndrome. A whole lot of set up for not a lot of payoff, so Reloaded goes down slightly in estimation. Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest has a similar problem for me. Revolutions just has so much gravitas and finality that i cant help but get swept up in the epicness of it. I dont know if you ever will but I would DEEPLY LOVE if you would watch The Matrix Resurrections. It is probably the most polarizing of the series, you either love it or you hate it. I ABSOLUTELY love it, and would love to see your own reaction and takeways from it.
I'd forgotten just how good the first 3 Matrix movies are. If you want more Matrix, there's the tie-in Animatrix series of shorts, and there's also the PS2-era game Enter The Matrix which tells Naomi's story that runs parallel to the movies and was written by the Wachowski's (I feel like I've butchered the spelling of their name but I can't check it while watching the video lol).
Everyone was so confused why the oracle was different. The actress who played her had passed away before filming the third movie. Sad, I really liked her portrayal
I don't know if it's just me but I would have to say honestly my favourite Matrix movie is Animatrix...I love the stories that take place and it's beautifully animated with all kinds of styles. Great reaction KL! 😊👍🏻
While I live for reaction videos, it’s a shame that most channels skip The Animatrix (2003). While technically to be watched between the first and second movies and only partially part of the main story (Boy’s Story and Final Flight of the Osiris), The Animatrix adds something to the 3rd movie by filling in the gaps of how the human race got to this point in the first place. The 8 short stories over 9 animated episodes show the past and some of the future compared to the events of this trilogy and should not be skipped.
The events of the game Enter The Matrix are canon to the franchise. That will explain the absence of a character in Matrix Resurrections assuming you're going to watch it too. Also the original actress of The Oracle died before the filming of this movie could happen.
Great reaction! I highly recommend the Animatrix series. A quick watch and some really incredible stories and world building in them, very underrated. Even if you watch them in your own time it’s worth it!
I really enjoyed this whole trilogy. The 1st movie was kind of a mystery and set up the world. The 2nd movie set the stakes and further built the world. The third movie is the war. I thought this was a great ending because they didn’t pull any punches. You kind of know Neo will win but the question becomes how?! I still recommend watching Animatrix and if you can grab and OG Xbox, playing the game.👍🏻👍🏻
The second movie kind of lost me in the middle when it was taking its mythology so seriously. The first movie was a great setup. This next two didn't satisfy my expectations.
Hi, Kaiielle, Thank you, as always, for the watch. Also, my least favorite of the 3. (Animatrix? If you love the world, you'll enjoy it. It's not necessary. The 4th movie... just imagine it's its own thing.) I think my disappointment was in that I had a long time to think about the ending of the 2nd movie. Too long. And, none of what I imagined the scenarios would be turned out to be the case. So... unfulfilled expectations hindered my enjoyment a bit. Visually? It's stunning. And, that's always nice. Pacing? It dragged in spots. Conclusion? It was okay. It remains the least re-watched of the three for me. I like the 2nd one because of the questions it posed. The answers were insufficient for me. But, that's on me. The original... we still rewatch that from time to time, because even though we know how it ends, it's a really good, thoughtful action movie. Thanks again for the watch! I hope you have a pleasant rest of the summer, and then the fall. Stay warm up there!
Though not as good as the first one of course, I still like part 2 and 3 considering the 2 of them together are a single piece in fact and a fitting/ok end to the saga in my opinion (themes of life and death, and smith defeating himself when assimilating Neo, thus spreading the Source code in the matrix for a system reboot)... Do yourself a favor however and skip the 4th, what a disgrace it is... PS: I do suggest however the Animatrix, specially the Second Renaissance if you are interested to know and see How the War started
Im a bit surprised to hear you say this is the worst film of the trilogy. You seemed to enjoy this film more than the others on your reactions. For me the best to less best film on the trilogy is 2-1-3 but i love them all. I hate the fourth. Please dont watch the fourth its an awfull film and they did it that way on purpose 😢
Watching this vid now don't forget there is a fourth one called the Matrix resurrections people give it a lot of resentment i think but i personally enjoyed it i just wanted to let you know there is a fourth movie. I hope this reaction finds you.
What happened to Neo ? Well he died :( You should give the animatrix a chance ;) The matrix trilogy is probably the most underated action trilogies of all time : I've always put it at the same level as star wars, the lord of the rings and Indiana jones ^^ Matrix : Intriging Matrix reloaded : Exciting Matrix revolutions : Intense
Hello, if you don’t mind, can you do a movie reaction on a movie called, 1492: Conquest of Paradise. Adventure/Drama (1992). It stars Gérard Depardieu, Siqourney Weaver, Armand Assante. It portrays a version of the travels to the New World by the Italian explorer Christopher Columbus and the effect this had on indigenous peoples. Directed by Ridley Scott. Thank you, Chris.
The last time I did a full watch through of the series I felt it didn't really hold up to my very high opinion of it back in the day. But you know what? Reactions breathe new life into it. It's great seeing your commentary, and getting the Cliff's Notes version of the movie. Very enjoyable way to watch and remember how I first felt about it.

It has some great moments for sure but too much time is spent on CGI fights in Zion and Neo disappears for half the movie. The ending makes logical sense but it's kind of a bummer. As for Resurrections, there just isn't enough to justify its existence. It's a poor echo of the original.
The Matrix, 🤌. Reloaded, mid, except for the highway chase scene. Revolutions, mediocre outside of Neo/Smith. You absolutely have to continue with the series. People need to stop dissuading others from watching stuff they didn't like.
@Movies with KL : 11:37 : Did you just say "He's adorable"? Because Sati is a girl, you know. And I know we live in a time where the trans agenda is being pushed on kids in kindergarten or school, but this was before all of that crap, and like I said, Sati is definitely a girl, her father, Rama, said a line confirming that fact, in the trainstation scene. Just thought I'd let you know, and to see what you reply, if you even do so.
No I didn't, I said "She's adorable". My microphone cuts a bit of audio here and there sometimes (which I still need to sort out one day). You can see other instances of this happening throughout the video and in other videos.
Gotta say, well done on the editing to make the insert from The Office have a green tint. Kudos to attention to detail.
Also, get your mind out of the gutter KL! 😄

I spilled my coffee chuckling, Lmao.

@pattern2481 it's a movie that requires much more thought than your standard blockbuster
Not only did she get to see it before her death, the sky had been blocked so long she was the only person in generations to see the true sky.
I really love the ending...the final battle between Neo and Smith was so epic during my first watching...I had goosebumps...this is how I imagine battle for future of mankind.
Hugo Weaving really give a memorable performance of Agent Smith one of the most greatest villains of the cinema.

For the “last man standing” comment, my friend group’s inside joke when anyone mentions Matrix 3 is to mimic shooting guns to the sky while yelling. 😂
Just found your channel the other day and I think I’ve found my new favorite reactor 😊 love your reactions and input on things!

There isn't a reaction for that because I treated myself to go see that in IMAX since I missed Part 1 in IMAX.
