Nicely done. As a owner of a 25th edition I can say it’s a special car to drive. First time Porsche owner and look forward to more videos.

Another enjoyable vignette - just the right length and tone. You always nail the soundtrack Roger. It’s such a shame that it took Porsche so long to overcome its insecurities about the Boxster (and Cayman) challenging the 911, and to give it the engines and performance that it was always clearly capable of exploiting, without detracting from the unique appeal of the 911. Spyder, GTS, GT4 and RS variants bookend the range perfectly. I imagine that you’re salivating at the prospect of getting behind the wheel of the Spyder RS. Looking forward to your experience with that!

I remember when the concept was shown in the magazines, and the surprise later by all at how close the production version was. Love the B roll, helps us to drink in the details!👍🏽

its an excellent review Roger lovely filming and words, I'm just sad that these petrol engined cars will soon be made no more. My guess is that rare cars like this 25 years edition will become highly sought after, like I say its an excellent video, keep them coming

I hope so... I have one :) In Silver, with black interior and red stitching. I was thinking about the black one, but found the neodymium air scoops on the side a bit too much of a difference. I love the car.

Wonderful review Roger. I’m fortunate to own #248 of 1250 and it’s the exact build shown here. I’ve owned the 997.2 cabriolet and got the missus a Macan recently, but the 25th has the best parking space in the garage. I can see keeping it until I’m unable to drive 😂. Newly subscribed to your channel and look forward to more of your videos, well done!

Had a silver 986 boxster and painted the wheels satin poly gold. Then about a year later they launched this is silver! Genuinely a contender for the money this. But the look of this I love. (Silver)

The 25years really looks good in black. The neodymium gold details might be a bit much for me. Some great shots of the car. The BGTS4.0 is my dream car.

Hi Roger, have enjoyed your reviews (the 911 992 Cabriolet springs to mind). I bought this car (same colour spec etc) in Australia. I have the Cayenne Coupe GTS as it’s stablemate in the garage and love them both. Just the right power, without feeling overpowered. Plan on keeping the Boxster 25 for a long time. I bought and sold a Taycan Turbo S pretty quickly as (to me) it felt like I was the pilot rather than the driver (I have no idea if that makes sense to anyone else). I think SUVs suit the EV thing better than sports cars or sports sedans and I fear that the next Boxster (being an EV) will lose quite a bit of the visceral (and obviously aural) pleasure that the 4.0 brings…. Thanks again (sorry it took me a few months to see your review). Cheers.

A lot of cars tend to lose their looks over time. But I think the Boxster has improved from it's old sibling of 25 years or so ago. _It just looks better in so many small ways._
Trust the Jilly is better. Fingers crossed and best wishes for her.

Excellent scoop Roger! The only complaint i have on this is the Sound: i did not like it. Driving a GTI Clubsport myself with custom exhaust from Invidia dp on sportcat & Cobra Sport nonres catback in perfect combo im pretty picky. But designwise & drivingwise im sure its still a decent Porsche! 👍

Buy a Boxster, the one you can afford, do your research and join the mid engine Porsche roadster fraternity. You will not be dissapointed.
