In the original storyline, the symbiote never actually changed his personality, that's something that the 90's animated series would add. In the comics, all it did was pilot his body while he slept and do regular spider-man things. Really the only side effect was that he was exhausted. He only got rid of it when he found out it was alive.
@@Ash-Winchester yeah man I never liked the idea that symbiotes turning you evil but I do enjoy the symbiote bringing out the worst aspects of yourself as you keep all of your dark feelings or your authentic self hidden and I think Peter Parker affect the symbiote in a way because of symbiote is like a baby and if you told it the wrong lessons like you teaching a child the wrong stuff then the child or the symbiote will emulate your behavior and continue to do that bad behavior if you're not aware of what you are doing to you I'm not trying to sugarcoat venom in that way but from that perspective venom is still a baby he hasn't even fully grown up yet he is just doing what your subconscious is asking him as he can't be completely evil on his own like the Carnage symbiote for example it's because Cletus Cassidy sociopathic thoughts affect his symbiote is symbiote now emulates his personality and behavior the longer the symbiote stays with him and symbiotes are like emotional sponges that you wear but if you teach the symbiotes the right lesson and it will emulate the right things you teach it because the symbiote can only be as evil as the user themselves but if you teach it right then it will not emulate your evil behavior and it will actually do good things that are beneficial to you and it and you also got toxin who bonded to a good police officer Patrick Mulligan and because toxin was younger then any other symbiote he made sure to teach the symbiote the right things so it doesn't fall down on the same path that his parent Carnage did and then toxin continues to do good things because it learned a lot from its previous host so yeah man morality of the symbiotes is dependent on the host itself and this is how I see symbiotes because they are children did they would do childish and dumb things when they don't have the right guides to teach them to go on the right path even they have motivations and desires that are different from the hosts but I do like the symbiotes this way when they have much more complexity to it then every other one is making a symbiote venom evil for some reason when he bonds with Peter Parker like what if Peter Parker kept the symbiote in that universe where Peter Parker became poison
It's really amazing how the origin of Venom lies in writers trying to retcon an excuse to get rid of the black suit after it proved an unpopular change, and then the 90s cartoon making up an additional justification for why Peter wanted it gone to make him look less heartless than how originally the suit wasn't doing anything really harmful or negative.
8:26 If it is even possible to given up Anti-Venom, to give it to Harry to save his life. It also fits pretty thematically. Harry gave up his Symbiote to save Peter, who couldn't give it back and eventually didn't want to because of how it was negatively affecting his mind. And effect that also plagues Harry and leads to his downfall in the 3rd Act. Now Peter has his own after all of his and Miles' character development, just beat Venom and saved Harry from its grasp, and can (possibly) return the favor and right the wrong his did prior by giving up his better Anti-Venom, effectively a purified version of Venom free of its debilitating effects, to save Harry for real. It all comes full circle.
The funny thing is that the anti-venom suit can’t be removed like the venom suit, it’s part of the host and is bonded to Peter’s white blood cells. Removing the suit would be like removing an organ, it’s literally part of Peter now💀
And normal venom is bonded to the nervous system. So it is possible to remove it. You just need to remove all of it(as shown in the game with removing venom)
@@thedamnedcat3240 yeah man because anti-venom is a part of Spider-Man now it's hard to separate from it even if you extract most of the symbiote away from him that shit will be growing back anyway when I came up with the term cellular base symbiote and I made my version of it a bit similar to anti-venom in a way but it's not just limited to white or red blood cells anymore this type of symbiote fuse with every cells in its embryonic state and as it does fuse the symbiote itself loses sentence meaning It can't take over your mind anymore or your consciousness as the symbiote now it's just an enhancement for the user can you basically get the benefits of having the symbiote powers without having any of the drawbacks and I'm really glad Spider-Man in the insomniac Universe gets to keep Anti-Venom instead of him always getting the black suit in every other media and then losing it every time this is a type of power that should stay permanent for Spider-Man from now on and since he's a tech nerd he can incorporate that into his suit as well basically you get something similar to scorn which is a symbiote that is capable of fusing with any type of technology possible now that's something I can see Peter Parker doing with his anti-venom suit even incorporate nanotech into the suit as well does this will help him become an even better hero before and I hope you agree or if not that's fine too
These are the type of arguments that i hate. They never actually say whats wrong with the thing there hating on and never acknowledge a counter. Its the youtube equivalent of puting your fingers in your ears and screaming "YOUR WRONG YOUR WRONG YOUR WRONG" it gets very annoying, very quickly.
Aprat from looking like it's made out of jizz it's fine, He just looks like somebody you dont want to shake hands with just incase it's not only his suit that's sticky
I’ll tell u what’s wrong with it honestly and it’s bc Pete having the anti venom defeats the whole purpose of how the anti venom works. IE in the comics whenever Pete would fight with anti venom he would hate it bc anti venom would quite literally drain him of all his spider powers. So seeing Pete wear anti venom is off putting and honestly in this game u also don’t need the anti venom suit to beat venom…. Like literally it is not needed. Venom has other weaknesses like fire and electricity. But they decided to ignore that (like literally Brian intihar the creator of this game literally said multiple time in interviews that he told his team to ignore venom’s weaknesses) which is like how r u going to promise Spider-Man fans a accurate venom when the game was announced of the PlayStation event but then turn around and tell ur team to ignore one of the most important thing about venom.
@@Iamkelejr one thing u forget is that marvels Spiderman isn't cannon to the comics which is why he has the anti venom, insomniac venom is supposed to grow stronger throughout certain parts of the story while I will say how they introduced the anti venom was kinda weird It makes sense and for venom weaknesses they already said this was gonna be the STRONGEST in game venom which means being weakened by fire or electricity would be stupid and would defeat the purpose since if u remember the last time we seen venom was in web of shadows where he could be easily defeated by fire alone so they decided to take that out and make his weakness anti venom and sound, also if his weakness would be electricity then peter wouldn't be able to grab certain things throughout the story when wearing the symbiote like junction boxes, gas canisters, or be able to blow up vehicles and cause miles would automatically know that and the symbiote would've been gone as soon as miles used his abilities, so yea those weaknesses wouldn't really fit in the story and just make the symbiote weak which wasnt what they were going for but other than that this venom was pretty accurate and if not better than the comics he even grew wings which if I remember they weren't even gonna add it but decided it would be better mid making of the game.
@@IamkelejrThat’s on you for not understanding how Symbiote bonding and Anti-Venom itself works. If Anti-Venom is bonded with Peter at the cellular level it would obviously treat his biology as normalcy and not affect his powers, additionally since Peter has control of Anti-Venom and it doesn’t have a mind Peter could just have it not do that.
The thing with how the suit looks. RUclipsr Dorito God said it best imo. A common joke that goes around is that the suit looks like semen due to the texture, and the droopy gluey texture, but then he pointed towards the comic-accurate unlockable Black suit in the game, and how its textures decided to go more in the muscular route, kinda like how is done with Venom in this game, and actually Venom in almost all media. And when you choose the white colour variant of this suit, you see how much better it would have looked on the Anti-Venom suit. It would have also added to the concept of this suit coming from within Peter himself. So just giving him the muscle-focused texture of the comic-accurate Black suit should have been what they went for. Also, another reason I have for why the Anti-Venom, or at least the 'Miles and Martin Li saving Peter'-section is so important is because during the fight between Miles and Peter, Peter says he needs the suit because it makes him a better Spider-Man, but it's only in the 'saving Peter with Martin Li' section that we understand WHY Peter feels that he NEEDS to become a better Spider-Man so badly. His grief and trauma from not being able to save the last maternal figure he had gives him extra trauma. It also explains why Peter is kinda 'off his game' in this game (No, he is absolutely NOT nerfed(I think you made a video on it, Gamingrift, but I can't remember, my apologies)).
One argument I can make for someone not liking the anti-venom suit not having too much black on the bottom half. If you don't like it, there's the Anti-venom variant of the black suit. That variant of that suit, is genuinely my favourite suit. It has the perfect black to white ratio, and you can use either tendril color with it. There's enough black and white that you can see each surge suit come out when you use the ability. Granted, you need ultimate level 4 to unlock it in NG+ But it looks so good.
10:08 YES, man. That was honestly one of my biggest complaints with the first game and one that I’m glad they rectified in the second with NG+. I love the Anti-Ock suit, but I would’ve loved to play the final boss in any suit we wanted in the first game. Also, great analysis on the Anti-Venom suit and what it’s purpose in the game is.
I'm more on the train of "eroding away the user's inhibitions and creating a dependency on the Symbiote". Just from Insomniac 2, Peter's already frustrated with a lot of stuff from Kraven to his day-to-day life to his friends telling him the suit is making him worse to JJJ being JJJ. Normal Peter has enough restraint to not lash out at people, but under the Symbiote's influence, that restraint starts to come off, especially towards the Anti-Suiters when it grants him all these useful and convenient powers that make both his Spidey and Peter lives easier. Doesn't even have the bodily fatigue presumably from it piloting his body after the Hunter Raid on his home. And of course, it doesn't help that the Symbiote is whispering in his ear to do terrible things. Or whispering as people the user loves in Harry's case.
It sounds like his main argument is basically that Peter fights better in Red and Blue even though there's no freaking way he would beat this Venom without some much needed help and the fact that Peter for all intents and purposes deserves an upgrade to his powers. Being the punching bag of Marvel for some reason despite being one its most iconic characters. Is this guy serious?
I do wish the suit carried over a couple of elements from the comics such as the orange glowing eyes and spikes on his shoulders and arms. Perhaps not as the Anti-Venom’s main appearance, but it could work for like the surge mode since it’s kinda disappointing that, unlike the Black/Symbiote suit, it didn’t change it’s appearance during Symbiote surge mode.
I feel like the reason the first game forces you to wear the anti Ock suit for the final boss is so they don’t have to design a damaged variant of every suit
That is exactly how I feel, you perfectly summed up my experience with this suit, I love all the symbolism involved with it, and I feel like our boy deserves the upgrade!
@@LegendsofJaz45 yeah man even though your personality doesn't get changed the symbiote will emulate your behavior if you're not careful like any form of thinking that will affect the symbiote like you not being good enough or constantly putting negative pity on yourself or repressing your real self the symbiote will just emulates your real self and then bring it to surface like scream has done for MJ the symbiote only brought out her true feelings her true desires about what she wanted to say the entire time and as Carl young puts it the more you repress your darkness the more denser and blacker it gets because in this sense the symbiote is just a catalyst to bring out your dark and authentic self the parts of ourselves that we have refused to face or refuse to confront because society makes us wear a false ego they make us afraid of confronting that part of ourselves and if we don't do that your Shadow will take over your life without you having any awareness of it and that's what Peter Parker has done to the symbiote because when he first wears it he lacking the awareness that his shadow is taking over as time goes on
if the anti-venom suit is ugly, then I'm a professional gamer who takes 0 damage. But I do agree with you. Lower half should have more black, like pants or just going all the way down and have white pads instead of black.
Well the main hiccup is they can’t just remove entire skills from the game because the entire marketing behind Spider-Man 2 is the symbiote abilities. The anti-venom suit being used for that purpose after Peter discards the black suit makes sense to me.
The fridge he wasn't pinned down under that long and he obviously took time to put it back in place because it's aunt's May's fridge he literally has done stuff like that in the comics like catching a vase in the house and putting it the cloth and table back in it's exact same location before heading back to fighting and he was literally pinned down by something that weighs way less a fridge in the first game that no one talks about and he was pinned under longer both scenes he's already beaten physically and mentally even more so in the second game
I like the anti-venom suit could look better though. People have to realize not every Spider-Man is going to do the same thing. I like that there's at least 1 of them that keeps the suit .
Nah it’s stupid, the marketing around the symbiote was about addictions and the themes present in the game. So when he gets rid of that addiction … he gets another symbiote which is basically the same as the black suit but it also hurts other symbiotes and it has no side effect… so ok we treat drugs by giving someone other drugs with no side effects… great arc
When I saw antivenom and venom suit, I always think about the themes of duality. Which I kinda found interesting how it continued from the first game to here. Pretty weird how it's supposed to be for "addiction".
i don't understand what is problem even if peter keep's anti venom suit in third game? if it is the case at least peter would get apermanent power up, which is good thing, is it not enough that in comics every time he get's power ups it get's remove? why at least in games can't he keep them?
@@gioarevadze2703 yeah man that's just what I don't like about temporary power ups because every time he gets them he doesn't even keep the powers that he has for long like the uni powers his spider self having those stingers being able to communicate with different bugs having multiple arms Being the lizard being the hulk having the venom symbiote multiple times and he just never keeps those power ups while every other version of Peter get to keep theirs
Exactly! I really like the idea that he went through all those challenges and suffering, and actually gets to keep the power boost out of it, and if they keep it for the 3rd game they can 1. Tweak the design and add a little more black in places 2. They can add different moves for the next game after he has spent a lot of time refining his antivenom abilities. It also distinguishes this spiderman from all the other ones in a really fun way that gives him a power up!
I agree with getting that venom boss fight in the city with either Peter or venom getting away then having the same boss fight we got at the end of the game. One without the anti venom suit and one with
And I do hope Peter Parker can keep the Anti-Venom suit permanently as it is now an extension of him and even if he does separate from it it will just grow back
Wouldn't be fair for Miles to keep electric blue, while Peter is forced to keep using spider arms. Plus it could make an interesting plot point that Norman can try to find a way to bypass anti-venom as a whole knowing how much of an advantage the suit gives Peter. Hell, Norman and Otto might even work together to find any sort of weakness.
@@shantaehalf-geniehero4318 he does have a few weaknesses to mr negatives powers since this is how anti-venom was made in the first place his light or dark force powers will just cancel out the anti-venom suit for a while or a type of toxin or poison that will temporary overwhelm the suit until the suit is fully recharged the only weaknesses it doesn't have anymore is heat and sound as l said before the symbiote is no longer sentient as it not even part of the hive anymore as it is now just a mindless symbiote without any freewill or a mind of it own it is now just a tool that can now give Spider-Man a much more beneficial purpose than just it having it's own goals
Don't forget Anti-Venom actually HEAL. I mean when Peter got bitten by radioactive spider his got his power, anti-venom heal peter from radiation too. Anti-Venom it's not just OP "SYMBIOTE BUT NOT CHANGE PETER PERSONALITY" Hes got + and - as well.
they’re not bad takes and yet ur presenting them like they’re the dumbest things u have ever heard. it comes off very cynical the way you present your points and makes it harder to sympathize with your arguments, even if u do throw the other guy a bone and say u somewhat agree with him. i’ve always hated videos like this where the whole premise is tearing down someone else’s POV when they’re just speaking their mind and minding their own business. there’s definitely a better way to go about making a video like this however i’m not saying that this was a bad video or that it was the worst kind of video within this archetype of content i’ve seen. their are absolutely worst offenders (cough cough colin). but yea, just trying to be constructive and not trying to discredit your points at all. i just found myself agreeing with the other guy more so
@@izzyvasquex I appreciate the constructive feedback however I feel that it’s missing the point of my videos At no point in time will I ever condone sending someone hate. Even when they say the most out of pocket shit like calling Miles Morales the N word or something 😅 and usually whenever I react in an extreme way it is to an extreme comment. My responses are many times longer than the original videos because I have a lot to talk about and i focus on debunking the argument made rather than the person making it. If an argument is shit or in accurate or flat out wrong then I don’t pull any punches however it’s mostly for entertainment purposes as I feel I’m more than fair in my responses. I get what you mean though. Colin is a little infamous for calling people dumb etc. I do try not to do that especially for channels I’ve only just come across
12:35 I mean, that's what he did in his original debut comic. And since Venom doesn't trigger Peter's Spidey Sense, it'd be kinda cool to have a mechanic where Venom could ambush you in the open world without warning, making you paranoid about when he'll attack next. Would it have fit in with the context of the story Insomniac told? Maybe, maybe not. Would it have been a fun sequence? I think it would.
I don’t know what the hell he’s talking about, I did a New Game+ play through an ultimate difficulty in the final boss bite was hard as hell. And this is with me knowing all the mechanics by heart 11:38
11:40 it is an extremely easy fight though. But that is not a complaint, as all three games are extremely easy even on the hardest difficulty. I play this series of games when I just want to turn my brain off and punch bad guys. And that is the point.
I think the problem was for me it didn't feel rewarded. We hear Peters exhausted when getting rid of the suit, which makes sense. But to me, it felt like every character forgave Peter they all say to him, "It wasn't you it was that suit," excluding Harry. Also harry doesn't get upset with Peter till he says we need to destroy it, I know we have the moment with Peter speaking to Osborne and harry hearing it and being upset, for me there were no repercussion for this action. To me, we do not see the conflict between mary-jane and Peter till she gets her suit, i would have liked something beforehand, but thats hard to do when they know his identity. There is none of the why is Peter being a dick moment and people actually struggling to be friends or close with him again. I feel like that is what made the symbiote story's powerful. Instead, Peter just needs to forgive himself for his actions because everyone knows it's the suit that caused him to act this way. And there's no conflict till the suit gets put on mary-jane and Harry. It might be a hot take, but that was what I got from the story. It's still a great video, and I love hearing the arguments you make.
10:04 True, but it's still very important to mention that for months we weren't allowed to. We were absolutely stuck in that thing for the final act and there was nothing we could do, we had to wait for a basic feature, that should've been at launch, to be added months in advance
@@NoNonsenseSpider ehh.. I don’t get bothered by that sorta thing Cyberpunk and Arkham knight were broken on launch (pc ports anyways) yet now they are dreams to play do I don’t mind
Isn't Carnage gonna be dlc? It makes sense that they would add the anti-venom suit, Carnage is one of the most dangerous spidey villains in my opinion so if peter didn't have the anti-venom suit he'd be fucked

If they take the symbiote powers away from peter in spider-man 3. Idk what the story reason is. I WILL be pissed. The symbiotes are literally my favorite thing in marvel and Venom is my favorite carecter. So I swear insomniac. DO NOT TAKE HIS POWERS AWAY. The symbiot is there leave it there
I don't think anti venom was pointless at all. I do however think we could've had it explained or explored a bit more. I really would like confirmation that Peter still has these abilities at the very least. I would also like an explanation for Venom being able to resist Anti Venom's effects as much as he did. Just a tiny bit more depth other than "It's because of the meteorite", but I'm not really sure what my ideal explanation would be.
I played on Ultimate difficulty and Venom is a cake walk. Just symbiote attack and gadget spam him and also parry his very telegraphed attacks and he dies faster than you can say "oops"
Tbh, the anti venom was never a problem for me. I just wasn’t sure how anti venom would fit in future Spider-Man games. I know Spider-Man needed anti venom for Venom, but I don’t see why he would need it for Green Goblin cuz I don’t think Green Goblin is as strong as Venom. The only reason I think of is Carnage. So here’s the thing, I don’t like the Anti-Venom symbiote. I like it in concept, but I did not want it in the game. However, I cannot in good conscience say that there is anything OBJECTIVELY wrong with its narrative inclusion. I feel like there’s a bit of a disconnect that this video addresses; the suit itself isn’t an objectively terrible story mechanic, but people simply don’t like it, and are thus determined to prove that it’s bad. The thing is, I get it. I did not want this suit in this game, but I had to start adjusting my expectations for this game’s story, the moment Peter busted out the iron arms in the first mission. I feel like, while I don’t like this suit in this game, that’s because it’s just not what I wanted, but not because it’s objectively bad. It makes sense for the narrative, and while it could use a bit more establishing and mechanical bite, I don’t think it’s an overall negative.
@thegamingrift I’m sorry what u said at 10:50 I respectfully have to disagree with u guys on this take. I get that the fight taking place thru New York was for promo but we didn’t get a treat for how the final boss actually played out. A, having the boss fight take place at the school was quite literally a rip off from ultimate Spiderman game. B: u say that it wouldn’t make sense “canon vise” but that’s completely false. U could’ve had a New York battle with venom for this game. Comics Peter and movie Peter have done it numerous of times. This is also the same pete that fought the sinister 6 with 14 broken bones….so u saying it doesn’t make sense it’s kinda wild considering what we have seen pete do. And C, pete getting the anti venom is not a perfect ending for him bc venom is like a drug to pete like u said and Pete’s whole purpose was that venom made him a better spiderman which pete had to realize after getting rid of the suit that he didnt need the suit due to miles helping him realize. So for him to just get another venom like suit literally defeats the whole purpose of pete realizing he doesn’t need to suit to be a better spiderman. It’s like someone smoking cigarettes and just replacing it with a vape……
I also wanted to add that pete and miles could’ve beat venom if Brian intihar kept venom’s original weaknesses to fire, electricity. Rather he admitted to ignoring them bc he thought venom walking thru fire was cool and told his team to ignore venom’s weaknesses other than sound… like case and point u really don’t need the anti venom to have defeated venom.
Last thing I’ll add to this, but them using that New York fight with venom as promo…they knew exactly what they was doing and knew ppl wanted it which is why they did it to goat ppl into for sure buying it which to me that’s lame as shii and they definitely needa hold a L for that. A lot of things got scrapped for that game bc they rushed it. It’s obviously in the game and when they came out and said AND when they got hacked and bunch of stuff leaked about Spider-Man 2 and wha we couldnve gotten.
In the next game, Osborn will find a way to remove anti venom from peter and that will be the end of act 2. Then peter will make a new anti goblin suit
As much as I liked the anti venom suit in Spider-Man 2, I would prefer if it isn’t in the next game (especially if its story doesn’t involve symbiots). I just prefer when Spider-Man’s abilities are spider based. Though if insomniac doesn’t want to design a new reason for you to play as Peter instead of Miles from the ground up that’s completely understandable
@@TheGamingRift11 well sure technically yes but Peter needed miles help for that or he would have lost completely and idk I just felt like Peter kept getting knocked down all the game. but I get it. He deserves a nice good long vacation
Im really glad to see the side of the Spider-Man 2 community that shows the game the respect it deserves. Yes, it’s clear that the game wasn’t finished in terms of game and story development wise in the third act, and it’s clear insomniac wanted to do more, but for what we got even with their limits due to Sony on top of fans forcing the game to be released earlier than it should’ve been, we got a damn good conclusion to Peter and Miles’ arcs for this game. I would LOVE to carry the Anti-Venom suit through a Green Goblin or Otto Octavius fight. And on a completely unrelated note, I never mind using the Evolved suit. In my opinion it’s a really fresh look to use. The constant complaints from everyone about the “wokeness” or “bad writing” just seems like “fans” can’t be called fans anymore. Every new media is expected to be the next god send and innovation in storytelling. No, Spider-Man 2 isn’t the most incredibly written piece of media, but it is a really fucking fun and made by fans for fans story. Really enjoyed this video, LFG to Spider-Man 3 🦾
If the symbiote story is supposed to be addiction based, then peter went from meth to adderall.
😅

If it is even possible to given up Anti-Venom, to give it to Harry to save his life.
Removing the suit would be like removing an organ, it’s literally part of Peter now💀
💯💯💯
And normal venom is bonded to the nervous system. So it is possible to remove it. You just need to remove all of it(as shown in the game with removing venom)
If they end up removing Anti-Venom in the next DLC or sequel just because one person complained about it i'm gonna get really, REALLY pissed off.
they arent gonna do that
@@thedamnedcat3240 yeah man because anti-venom is a part of Spider-Man now it's hard to separate from it even if you extract most of the symbiote away from him that shit will be growing back anyway when I came up with the term cellular base symbiote and I made my version of it a bit similar to anti-venom in a way but it's not just limited to white or red blood cells anymore this type of symbiote fuse with every cells in its embryonic state and as it does fuse the symbiote itself loses sentence meaning It can't take over your mind anymore or your consciousness as the symbiote now it's just an enhancement for the user can you basically get the benefits of having the symbiote powers without having any of the drawbacks and I'm really glad Spider-Man in the insomniac Universe gets to keep Anti-Venom instead of him always getting the black suit in every other media and then losing it every time this is a type of power that should stay permanent for Spider-Man from now on and since he's a tech nerd he can incorporate that into his suit as well basically you get something similar to scorn which is a symbiote that is capable of fusing with any type of technology possible now that's something I can see Peter Parker doing with his anti-venom suit even incorporate nanotech into the suit as well does this will help him become an even better hero before and I hope you agree or if not that's fine too

Aprat from looking like it's made out of jizz it's fine,
He just looks like somebody you dont want to shake hands with just incase it's not only his suit that's sticky
@@Sarge327speakkkkkkkkkkk
0:51 For the Insomniac Version, at least, yes. The Symbiote has done nothing but reveal all his deepest emotions.

Thank you!!! The mods for PS4 Spiderman showing the final battle with the Raimi suit are awesome
I feel like the reason the first game forces you to wear the anti Ock suit for the final boss is so they don’t have to design a damaged variant of every suit
i hated the antivenom suit but it quickly grown on me and its nice to know theres a spiderman that has a simbiote without the side affects
That is exactly how I feel, you perfectly summed up my experience with this suit, I love all the symbolism involved with it, and I feel like our boy deserves the upgrade!
0:54 Your right the symbiote doesn't outright change your personality it just exacerbates what's hidden beneath the surface.
Could've just had it be something that you get after beating the game or when you play New Game+ like the Spider-Man 3 video game did.

Me waiting for someone to bring up the fridge for no reason: 😶
Something something my back joke
The fridge he wasn't pinned down under that long and he obviously took time to put it back in place because it's aunt's May's fridge he literally has done stuff like that in the comics like catching a vase in the house and putting it the cloth and table back in it's exact same location before heading back to fighting and he was literally pinned down by something that weighs way less a fridge in the first game that no one talks about and he was pinned under longer both scenes he's already beaten physically and mentally even more so in the second game
Peter being weakened by fucking terminals in marvels Spider-Man 1 for like 20 extra seconds
No you beat addiction by gaining control over it
i don't understand what is problem even if peter keep's anti venom suit in third game? if it is the case at least peter would get apermanent power up, which is good thing, is it not enough that in comics every time he get's power ups it get's remove? why at least in games can't he keep them?

Wouldn't be fair for Miles to keep electric blue, while Peter is forced to keep using spider arms.

@@zlajo3671 for one thing him having a black suit will not make sense story-wise anymore his ark with the black suit has already concluded like this video said him having Anti-Venom represents the end of that or him not being influenced by the symbiote anymore because the black suit was menacing and dark and the symbiote having it's thoughts of its own will just make things harder for Peter Parker than easier and wouldn't him getting the black suit back just ruined the ark anyway and I do agree more on this video than what you're saying right now because after all wouldn't the black suit just burn off him
Imma be honest I hate the fucking anti venom on Peter bc it literally defeats the whole purpose of anti venom, I.E in the comics Pete didn’t wanna fuck with anti venom bc he would literally drain him of all his powers.
Well my dude good thing this is a alternative version of peter so they don’t have to go 1 for 1 with the comics my guy🤦🏾
@@BLACKMYTHWU2pretty much yeah
@@BLACKMYTHWU2 well no shii doesn’t mean I have to like it….its an opinion for a reason….
This ain't the comics where someone else with a Messiah Complex is actively and even passively harming him. Insomniac AV doesn't work like that. The same way Insomniac Venom doesn't have his fire weakness and has his wings that he wouldn't get until much later in his life during the whole Dark Carnage and Knull mess. This is a dumb complaint, expecting everything to work the same across difference sources of Spidey media like this hasn't happened before and with other franchises.
As much as I don’t like the way this game did a lot of things. Gotta agree this guys video was pretty dumb
11:46 naaaahhhhh the game is kimda easy after the first playthrough just like the other games
I like anti venom but I hope he doesn’t have it in spider man 3
He is gon have it 50/50 in the venom game maybe they are gon deleted it but i want it to be on him Forever its cool And strong not again og like always
@@DEMOMLORD7 you do realize that the suit is a part of him now separating from is like you separating another organ from you and even if he does remove it somehow it would have grown back by the time he does that and also are you tired of multiple universes where Peter Parker never kept the symbiote powers for long and it should remain as a permanent power of him I just don't see them ever removing it anytime soon
@@JustinJulian-00they r gonna remove it, they want to wrap up the symbiote ark in this game
@@IamkelejrNo they won't, Symbiote arc isn't over until Carnage comes into play
@@Iamkelejrwhy y’all hate for Peter to have a permanent power up like dang
I think if insomniac really wanted to remove the anti-venom suit I think they can make it where peter doesn't trust the anti-venom suit and thinks it might cause a whole alien invasion so peter doesn't trust the suit and removes it I think that's one of the ways they could do it let me know what u think in the replies
@@Arachknight-productions aren't you forgetting that the anti venom symbiote is not sentient anymore it doesn't even have thoughts of its own or even a consciousness the symbiote doesn't affect his behavior anymore or even telling him what to do the symbiote now is just an enhancement he has all the abilities of the symbiote without any of the weaknesses anti-venom is made from your white blood cells even though the symbiote is alive it's just not sentient besides that I am never going to see Peter Parker take that suit off anytime soon because now the anti-venom suit is an extension of him it's no longer a separate being the suit is literally just him now
@JustinJulian-00 did u read my comment I said WHAT IF peter THOUGHT it was still bad I'm not saying I think it is but what if peter did and was worried that something bad might happen and I get it's not removable but insomniac can do what ever they want to teak that aspect
Yeah not a fan of his video, and most of the people are agreeing with him on it are equally weird.
@@ven3209 And the weirdness continues. Granted I do deserve that because I just made my comment of annoyance, my own fault shouldn't have done that. But by weird I meant most of them were just saying the exact same stuff. Like this version of Venom had everything that was cool about him stripped away just because he.... wasn't stalking Peter for weeks on end. Like I'm not even gonna humor that as logical or worthwhile.
@@MachinaX7 I misread _his_ as *this,* so that my bad actually. I honestly sorta agree with you now.
@@MachinaX7people aren’t mad at him for just “not stalking Peter” they’re mad for making him seem like a generic end of the world threat. We were just making an example of why he’s less cool (I disagree with most of his points on the anti venom suit tho,I thought it was neat edition)

Another W vid from the goat, I love the anti venom suot, its a nice way to still have a symbiote.
You were quick with this one.

@@TheGamingRift11 where is it
@thegamingrift I’m sorry what u said at 10:50 I respectfully have to disagree with u guys on this take.
Typical Marvel rants. 🤦😒
@@RRai2000 thank u for reading my Ted talk
@@Iamkelejr No. You should have kept that complaint to yourself. This is why some of Marvel fans disappoints me.

Lol peter lost to venom with the anti venom
No he didn’t
