Such a beautiful piece of music, nostalgic and relaxing at the same time. Windows XP has been the best operating system. User friendly and easy to configure with a very nice user interface. Not as the awful minimalistic interface of Win 10 which also is a nightmare to configure. I still use Windows XP and Windows 7, the best! 👍
I am not sure why everyone says that the original to this piece was from Win XP. I know it was used then but I first heard it in 1995 on a Internet Explorer install disk. @@fukyu2 I took notice just now and had to comment haha! 6 Years ago and nothing until now, almost like a Universe of wonder left unexplored, a rare thing indeed. This is an amazing remix to one of the best Startup Installation to an operating system I can remember, and I'm kind of old being 36. Tons of memories and times long gone, but not forgotten due to this musical Gem. It might even be close to say that this is better than the original, but no it has it's own charm to it from the original. Peace out, and there's always, always more to explore!
I miss when everyone used desktop operating systems and not spyware, phone operating systems. I have a phone, but that's so that I can call people and play some games and browse the web, not be some social media center.
I just recently came across my old Windows XP boot disks (I think that's what they are called or install disks... whatever). Maybe I will install Windows XP as a second OS through dual-booting someday since I miss it so much. Even though I like Windows 7 more and currently use Windows 8.1, there's something about Windows XP that can't be replaced (most likely the nostalgia, charm and memories of using the OS).
I really miss using xp. By far the most stable OS made by Microsoft. Windows 7 is great as well, and will be with me until it's support dies. I refuse to use Windows 10 due to stability issues, even if it has new features.
Ok Mr Roblox. There's a reason that the OS's are different so they wouldn't just keep redoing 1 os because people liked it. Windows 10 is the last one anyways
time to find where they get its update and support status, start a new server for that and then bring xp back alive! (adding this to oobe as well will be good, if possible)
WindowsFan TwoThousandSeven Basically, it's a small registry hack that fools windows update into thinking you're running Embedded POSReady 2009 (itself a slightly modified XP) and essentially gives you security updates until april 2019.

Something that goes with vista and 7.
snf! So...Many...Memories...Leading up to one sad one...RIP, XP. This song gives a nice vibe and creates an even more nostalgic value than the original! Good job!
...snf!
what a lovely remix.
I know right....
Still is a very lovely remix….
Watching this on an iPad. Remembering Mac vs PC before iOS vs Android…
I miss when everyone used desktop operating systems and not spyware, phone operating systems. I have a phone, but that's so that I can call people and play some games and browse the web, not be some social media center.
Weak, Just get a samsung galaxy bro, they are better and even though they might explode, they do that because they run better tech and more tech
please do not start another war
Love this remix!
Dear God. You Sir, are a genius..
I come back here to indulge in the golden era of Personal Computers.

I really miss using xp. By far the most stable OS made by Microsoft. Windows 7 is great as well, and will be with me until it's support dies. I refuse to use Windows 10 due to stability issues, even if it has new features.
I still use xp every day. Treating me the same as when it came out. Great os.
É incrível e hipnotizante😍💚
i hope Microsoft will make Windows XP 10 Edition, it's gonna be windows 10 that looks like windows xp and have windows xp sounds
Ok Mr Roblox. There's a reason that the OS's are different so they wouldn't just keep redoing 1 os because people liked it. Windows 10 is the last one anyways
Or in other words have a built in Windows XP theme on one of their next updates for the sake of nostalgia.
time to find where they get its update and support status, start a new server for that and then bring xp back alive! (adding this to oobe as well will be good, if possible)
You know the POSReady 2009 support hack right?
no, explain it to me
WindowsFan TwoThousandSeven
Basically, it's a small registry hack that fools windows update into thinking you're running Embedded POSReady 2009 (itself a slightly modified XP) and essentially gives you security updates until april 2019.
cool, i need to try it with a virtual machine
You could insert any sound into the OOBE after setup copies files
Yeah, it would fit as music for a movie. PLEASE MAKE MORE!!!!!!

The original and the remix sounds amazing!
"As you all know and remember well, Windows XP was the first operating system to be targeted at consumers & smaller businesses. The memories of booting up and hearing the welcoming tune of XP... Well, Microsoft here has made a surprise for you. Introducing: Windows XP Second Edition! We recreated the eXPerience of XP with the newer version of NT kernel - 10.XP, honouring the memorable operating system. Every little thing - from connecting a new device to simply making an error in a script you're making... is XP. We brought back the sounds from the original XP, and, to add to the gift of eXPeriencing the old operating system today, we remastered them as well. We hope you enjoy it as much as we did recreating it."
Microsoft should really remake XP...
Da Ali Yes, please!
They did it, in a Windows 7 form
ikr? ;) that would be impressive
Remaking XP? That's called 7. But seriously, I wish MS would make a more lightweight OS, or at the very least add a Luna theme to 10.
Actually, the NT Kernel version would be 10.5850. *current build* , because 5850 is XP in Hexadecimal
