I am an armor modeler, and I have never even built a car model. My interests are almost exclusively military modeling. I am not even interested in car models, generally speaking. But your skill level is so amazing, so next level, and teaches so much about the art of modeling, all without words, that it is a thrill and joy to be here. You are the only car modeler I sub to on RUclips, and it is a thrill when your new vids come out.
Exactly the same as the other people who commented. I'm a armor modeller. Watched these videos and today bought the same model to have a go. Won't get anywhere near the engine build detail but I'm gonna follow these videos for hints and tips. Amazing work by the way.
Ok, though my days of making car models have been long over, due to shaky hands and poor eyesight, I used to get a car kit I liked, research what colors were available for the body and interior, find out what photo-etch was available for it, maybe throw in some engine wiring and stuff, assemble it, and call it good. After watching many of your posts, I have concluded that you are truly mad! You take an already challenging kit like one from Tamiya or Hasegawa and say "That's not good enough". You are fearless. You look at everything in a kit and ask " How can I make it better? And you don't rely on the "aftermarket" to do it. I'm sure 3D printing would make your life so much easier but, seeing your solutions, techniques and creativity are fascinating! Keep bringing the insanity!!
Anyone who does this level of detail will surely have an equal amount of skill in the researching to make the modifications to such precision. Our hats go off to you for you have clearly earned such respect. Respect enough that even your purchased AND custome made tools are valuable bits to other modelers. The unique black paint applicator for the muffler/oil reservoir was 1 such custom made tool. Thank you for sharing. It is greatly appreciated
I have no words other than "great". Thank you from the bottom of my heart for showing us your secrets. I hope that your high degree of perfection will inspire more plastic model builders.
It's astonishing that other RUclips model builders don't understand why they get 58 views per video. This is how it's done. No obnoxiously loud anime music, no babbling. Just the pleasant sounds of the hobby.
I've gotta tell you, I'm getting addicted to these videos. It's mesmerizing to watch you make those tiny latches and hinges. And the finish of the paint is amazing too.
totally agree Mr T.............. but how about the plastic rod etc around the trunk-lid aperture (where the lid fits in). c'est tres bien n'est ce que pas ??
Love your work! I fell hard for this kit when I got one of the first available years ago. I bought tartan decals for it and even started doing some initial fit work. Some other shiny something caught my attention and the kit has sat in the "to do" pile ever since. Thank you for selecting this wonderful Tamiya kit for a full detail and for reigniting my enthusiasm. Looking forward to the entire series.🤩
Your skills are amazing, your patience incredible plus good eyes and a steady hand. Many people can build plastic models very well but you enhance your models with extra details. Having great tool is always a good thing, knowing how to use them skillfully is something else.
Thank you for beginning a new project. I’ve have been waiting……. So enjoy watching your work, and how you present it in your videos. I wish a manufacturer would make a Lancia Fulvia coupe model-and then I would watch you build it.
My favorite builder building one of my favorite cars. Can't wait to see what comes next. Would love to have seen you fabricate those trunk hinges. Real magic there. Well done

It is gonna be a nice spring and summer with this build, pretty sure of that. Wonderfull how you made the drunk anddoors supparts with that thin styreen. Hats off for you SIR.
24 videos in this series! I can’t wait to watch them all! Are there any American Muscle Cars that you like? Late 1960’s saw a whole bunch of iconic automobiles. Charger, GTO, Camaro, Corvette, barracuda, Porsche, McLaren, Opal, Olds Cutlass, Pantera, Galaxy… I digress. Anyways, this time in car history was epic. At least in America. As always, love the content, literally the best modeling channel on RUclips.
It seems like forever since you finished building the Mini. So glad to have you back. I have this kit in my stash so I will be especially interested, even more so than usual, to see your masterful hands & brilliant mind at work with such a beautiful car. Thank you.

a lovely kit that's just about to get a whole lot lovelier, i went to your channel to ask where are you, and noticed the upload. i missed it some how, so i am watching it tonight.
I built this one a couple yrs ago...what a lovely kit and car! It was a verrry careful bit of sanding on the gloss coat (tough, sharp angles on the body just above the fenders).
Un nouveau projet très intéressant et très prometteur, avec déjà plusieurs améliorations à la précision du modèle. Prenez bien soin de vous et à bientôt pour la suite.
This is the most amazing car model build I've ever seen, totaly amazing! 😍 This said. if there's anything that I think can be improved, I think it's the windows. I don't build model cars myself, but is there a way to make them look more like real glass with more realistic refections and less distortion of the interior? Maybe use thinner plastic and polish them more? 🤔 And the crome around the windows, is it possible to further improve the finish? Together with the windows, it's almost the only giveaway that this is not a real full-scale car.
@A4 Garage I understand. This was no criticism in any way. It would be very interesting to hear you share any future plans. What models are you considering for future builds, and are you gonna continue building 1/24 scale cars? Have you ever thought about taking it even one step further with an even more detailed 1/12 or 1/8 scale cars? And what about 3D printing, did you ever consider this as an option for making custom parts. And one last comment/proposal. I would find it very interesting if you in your next video would share some of the preparation work. For example, finding photos, prints, etc, that I assume you need for your work. And maybe if you wanna be more personal, you can say something about why you chose to build a specific car, your thoughts about its design, etc. Sorry for the long post, but you have a new fan, I just discovered your channel a few days ago, I never watched any videos on model cars before but I have now watched all your builds and I really look forward to any future videos!
